There it was. Goode high sat in front of him. Boarding schools were nothing new to Percy and yet he couldn't shake the feeling it gave him. Goode High was massive and Percy was small and insignificant compared to the school. Percy felt as if the school would gobble him up and eat him alive. He'd been to seven different schools and this is the last one that would take him. The only reason Percy's parent's could even afford the tuition here was because of the same program that landed him here. They called it the Olympian program. They took kids put them in this school and taught them discipline along with also "giving them something to work for in life' it sounded like a big joke. Yet here was Percy at the front of the school waiting for his father to park. He didn't need this Percy's father said it would help him find his calling. Whatever that meant. Nonetheless Percy had heard about the kids here too they were all rich snobby brats and apparently the only kids who didn't belong here were him and his cousin. Did he mention his cousin Nico? Probably not, but Nico used to live with Percy before they were sent here. Now the Authorities had themselves convinced this program and school would whip them into a respectable people. They both had their doubts, but Percy seeing the school now couldn't help but feel a little homesick.

"May look scary, but trust me Percy, these kids will be bowing down to us by the time were done here." Nico stood confidently behind Percy. He always seemed to be the fearless one in any situation and Percy couldn't help but admire it.

"Let's hope you don't choke on those words, eh?" Percy chuckled. He couldn't afford to be scared today. Nico grinned and walked past Percy towards the door. Beside him his father appeared. Silently Percy hugged him.

" Promise me you'll try here okay?" He said, hugging me back.

" I promise dad, take care of mom. I'll text you guys tonight." Percy said.

Poseidon nodded, " take care of your cousin "

With that he walked 0ff and Percy walked towards his cousin. He knew he couldn't let his parents down and he knew he shouldn't hate them either. This was his fault. The whole situation was exhausting and all Percy wanted to do was rest in his dorm. As soon as Percy walked through the doors he smelled Peppermint and noticed the halls were completely empty. They were except for a pudgy man in a suit waiting in front of the office. He looked like he was day drunk.

"Finally! Were you kids sight seeing or something?" Before we could answer he turned and walked into the room motioning for us to follow him. Nico and Percy looked at each other before following the guy to his office. Inside the pudgy man was sitting at his desk motioning to the two empty chairs in front. There was three, but one was taken by a girl with a style that screamed punk. Percy tried taking the seat next to her, but Nico wrestled his hand off and took the seat grinning at the girl. she raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. Oh boy great, Percy thought. He sat next to Nico rolling his eyes.

The pudgy man took out two files and cleared his throat, " so, Nick solando and Percy Johnson welcome to Goode high I'm your principle or something like that." He looked bored.

"Something like that?" Percy asked.

Nico turned around in his seat confused, " I'm sorry, who are you talking to exactly?"

The pudgy man eyed the files again, "Ah Nico Di Angelo and Percy Jackson, my apologies, I'm Dionysius."

"How.." Nico was clearly confused and Percy was going to ask the same thing before Dionysius cut me off.

"Anyways, yes welcome to Goode High and all that. I red both your files your both here for the program for... ah yes fighting perfect. so I thought it appropriate to bring tala here to show you around."

There was an awkward silence as they stared at Tala, but she didn't acknowledge us, " it's Thalia..."

"Ah yes, Thalia... Johnsen and Solando here are your schedules your classes start tomorrow and visit the dorm office when your ready to see your rooms." The pudgy man gestured for us to leave.

Nico and Percy left first Thalia joined us a minute after with our schedules, " is that normal here or something?" Percy asked.

As they followed Thalia she answered, " Wouldn't give it much attention, people like him tend to not give two shits about people like us."

" what the hell is that supposed to mean, people like us?" Percy asked.

she paused at a locker, " your both here for the program which means your here for a only a few reasons, none of them good either."

Percy glared at her, " we are not the same" Percy stressed the not part. Percy didn't like this Thalia chick already, who did she think she was telling him and Nico who we were, we knew who we were.

She rolled her eyes, "yeah, yeah we are"

Percy glared more, " You don't know me "

she chuckled, "I'm guessing someone who's lacking a little confidence in themselves" she leaned closer to Percy " You are so readable Jackson, you know that?"

It was decided Percy didn't like this Thalia girl at all. She walked ahead and and Nico punched my arm, " dude, what the hell?"

"what?"

" Your gunna ruin any chance I got with her. "

"what are you talking about, you met her five minutes ago."

" So?"

"gods your hopeless" Percy walked after Thalia still intent on getting a tour. Nico followed behind me and eventually caught up to Thalia who he started making convo with. A few minutes later they had reached the dorms and they got their dorm room key. From what Percy understood they hit it off pretty well. That didn't matter though Percy still wasn't anywhere near excited for tomorrow.
