Naruto enters Ichiraku's Ramen stand. He orders the usual, as he waits he hears women talking about the news.

"Did you see the news last night? A young girl was hit by a car together with her brother?""Yeah, and-"

Naruto did not pay any attention to this until one name caught his attention.

"Who was it again?"

"Her name is Ino Yamanaka as far as I can remember"

And that's when Naruto drops his chopsticks.

He knew her. She used to be his girlfriend back in highschool. He just couldn't believe that she's gone.

To be honest he didn't think that his feelings ever changed ever since they separated after graduation.

After finishing his Ramen Naruto walks out of the stand. On the way to his home he passes a deserted alleyway.

Suddenly a gun was pointed at him.

"So you're Naruto Uzumaki huh?" He looks at the person with a gun, heart beating fast, body shaking and no words can ever come out of his mouth.

It was a man his age, black slick hair with spikes on the back, fancy clothes, and he wore a necklace slightly hidden under his clothes.

"Sasuke Uchiha is my name" the guy said.

And the next thing he knows, this Uchiha Sasuke pulled the trigger.

A loud bang erupted from the alleyway and everything went dark.

Naruto woke up in an unknown place that looked slightly familiar. Then he realized.

It was his high school apartment.

The place was small, messy and smelled stinky. He groaned, pinching his nose as he stood up from his twin sized bed.

He walks to his mirror and sees himself but in his highschool body. Petite thin body. He panics.

He started pinching himself, maybe it was a dream?

But it wasn't.

That morning his neighbors started to hear a shrieking noise of a twenty six years old man on his sixteen years old body.

"You good dude?" His friend Kiba asks as they both walk to the entrance of the school.

"Y-yeah..." Naruto said. As far as he can remember, his high school days basically just revolved around delinquents and gangs.

"Man, did you hear that the Kon Su gang is gonna fight against the Shadow clones?" His other friend Choji said.

"I hear that Kon Su is the top lead after all other delinquents, they're that powerful I guess" Kiba said.

"Hmm... but I might not be going to watch the fight, mom's expecting all of us" Choji said.

"Alright Alright" Kiba said, "I also might not come cause I'll be handling the pet shop after class"

"How about you Naruto?" Choji asked his friend, who has been quiet the whole time.

"Hmm? Oh I think... I'll pass-"

"Kon Su president's name is Sasuke Uchiha, never seen that dude ever in my life" Naruto hears from the two other students that passed by them.

Uchiha Sasuke, the man who murdered him.

"Never mind! I'll watch the fight" Naruto declared. Kiba and Choji just looked at him weirdly.

"Okay..." they both said, "tell us what happened okay?" Kiba said to Naruto.

Naruto smiled, one of his goofy smiles. "ALRIGHT DATTEBAYO!"

He just can't wait to see who's this Sasuke Uchiha and why he murdered him, as he enters his classroom there he sees his girlfriend Ino.

She's alive, safe, and healthy. He ran to her and hugged her really tight, receiving an 'oof' from her.

"What the- Naruto?" Ino said. Naruto lets her go, "hehe I just feel like it" he smiled.

"Ino?"Someone from behind asked. Naruto turned around and saw a girl, short and petite, pink hair and green eyes and a very innocent face.

"Sakura! I've been waiting for you" Ino said.

As far as Naruto knew he didn't remember any of this. He didn't meet this Sakura girl until now.

But one thing he noticed is that Sakura has a necklace with the same chain as Sasuke the moment he shot him.

"Oh! So this is Naruto my boyfriend and Naruto this is Sakura my best friend" Ino introduced the two.

They both shook hands and Ino went away with Sakura after saying goodbye to him.

He felt something odd about Sakura, it's like she's involved with the killing of Ino or him he's not sure.

The class went on and as time passed by it's in the afternoon. He makes his way to where the gang fight was held.

On the way there he spots Ino and Sakura.

"Hey Naruto! Where are you going?" Ino asked.

"Uh, I'm going to the Kon Su fight against the Shadow clones," Naruto said casually. Ino knows that Naruto is also a delinquent.

"Hmm? Sounds fun, can we come?" Ino asked. Naruto thinks for a moment.

"Yeah sure I mean what could go wrong" Naruto said.

"Hell yeah! Let's go Sakura" Ino drags Sakura following Naruto.

"Wait- is it somewhat a... gang fight?" Sakura asked.

"Yup!" Naruto said cheerfully.

"ROCK LEE! VERSUS! DOSU KINUTA!" A student yells from the middle of two kids.

"Can you explain to me what's happening?" Sakura asked.

Not knowing that Naruto and Ino already left her. A new male voice appeared.

"It's a fight between two gangs"Sakura jumps at the sudden confrontation, she looks beside her to see a teen her age, raven black hair with spikes on the back, ebony black eyes and a very handsome face.

"Uh-uhm" Sakura couldn't speak.

"I'm not gonna hurt you"He said, closing his eyes.

"Oh... okay..." she stood there beside him awkwardly trying to find Ino and her boyfriend.

"Your friends are at the other side of the arena" he said nonchalantly.

Sakura looks infront of her glad to see them "Oh thanks... how did you-"

"Believe it or not I've been observing everyone here" he said.

"Oh... um my name's Sakura" she introduced.

"Hn, Sasuke" he said. Both were quiet at the moment.

"So can you tell me what's going on with the two gangs?"

"Fighting for the top strongest gang in Konoha"

"Oh..." Sakura said. Still his answers weren't really complete, suddenly she felt him sigh beside her.

"Right now that guy with the green latex sweatshirt, he's part of Kon Su which is currently the strongest in tokyo and the other... he's from shadow clone"

The fight began and the two are currently breathing roughly.

"Woah, that's- that punch was hard! Is he gonna be okay?" Sakura said, tugging Sasuke's sleeve.

"Hn his used to it, that's not gonna bring him down" Sasuke said.

"T-there's a lot of blood, are you sure?"

"Relax, they're fine" Sasuke was sure the fight was bothering her.

"Wanna go somewhere?" Sasuke suggests.

Sakura perks up "Um anything away from here please" Sakura said.

Sasuke smirks and takes her small hand. "Let's go then" he whispers in her ear.

Sakura blushed as she nodded and followed him.

"Um okay- my friends!"

"Tsk, they're not gonna notice you're gone" Sasuke said as he led her to his car.

"You have a car?" Sakura said, amused. It wasn't just any car though it looked expensive.

He smirks. "Just come in"

"So where are we going?" Sakura asked Sasuke as he drove down a country road.

"Somewhere..." Sasuke said. Sakura looks at him suspiciously.

He glanced at her for a second "Just trust me"

"Okay" she said. It was getting awkward so Sasuke turned the speaker on.

Once they reached a cliff Sasuke stopped the car and got out and went to the other side, before Sakura could open the car door Sasuke did it first.

"Um uh thanks I guess" Sakura said. "Is this where you want to take me?"

"Hn"

Sakura stepped forward and sat on the grass.

"Woah! The view of the city is pretty from up here" she said, wide amazed eyes.

Sasuke silently sat beside her admiring the view in front of them.

"So how many girls did you take here?" Sakura asked, looking at him.

Sasuke looks at her feeling a little offended.

"To be honest with you... you're the first one here" he said.

And it's true. Sasuke isn't really interested in girls in the first place but surprisingly the girl beside him caught his attention.

It's probably the pink hair, people rarely see pink hair around and maybe her overwhelming reactions. The way she reacted to the fight was pretty interesting, how much more when she sees the whole city on a cliff.

Sakura looks at him amused. "And me because...?" She asked.

He smirks looking at her hair and touching it which makes her blush.

"H-hey what are you doing-" she said trying to squat his hand away from her hair.

"You're interesting," he said, removing his hand and looking at the view in front of them.

"Uh Ino?" Naruto asked, looking around the field trying to look for Sakura.

"Where's Sakura?"

Ino looks at him and looks around. "Oh my god I think we lost her" she said.

"Uh... this is not good-"

"HEY YOU! WITH THE KONOHA HIGH SCHOOL UNIFORM AND BLOND HAIR AND BLUE EYES"

Both Ino and Naruto looked at the person in the arena.

"The one with the penis!"

Naruto felt shivers. It's been a long time since he had a fight.

"Uh y-yes?" Naruto stutters.

The man grinned. "You look fun. Fight me" he said.

"You deal with him Naruto I'll find Sakura"

Naruto gulped. "Okay" he starts to walk towards the field.

Not even a second later Naruto felt a hard punch on his stomach followed by another.

He couldn't fight back, blood started to ooze down his nose and mouth as the person in front never gave him a chance to fight.

"What are you doing dipshit?! FIGHT ME!" The kid in front of him screams with an ugly laugh and keeps punching him.

"What's going on here?" Suddenly a slightly familiar voice said.

Naruto looked to see where the voice was.

It was him. Sasuke Uchiha.

Behind him was Sakura who was clinging to his arm after she saw too much blood.

"Sakura!" Ino called and ran to her friend. "Where have you been?!"

"I've been.. away" Salura couldn't take her eyes off Naruto. Ino noticed.

"Oh don't worry about him, he's fine"

"Are you su-"

"This is not how you greet the leader fuckers!" A long haired teen behind Sasuke appears.

"R-right- SORRY!" The kid who was beating Naruto up early kneels down.

"Leader...?" Sakura murmured.

Sasuke steps forward shoving the guy away. "You're out in Kon Su"

"BUT LEADE- AKT-'' The long haired teen shoved him away. "Out of the way, you're no longer in Kon Su, Tohma"

Sasuke looks at Naruto then... smirks. "Hn, join us"

"What?" Naruto was not sure of what he heard.

"Join us, join Kon Su" Sasuke said."I-" Before Naruto could reply everything turned black and soon he fainted.

"NARUTO!" His girlfriend screams and runs to him. "He just fainted. Neji takes him to the hospital" Sasuke said walking away.

"I-I'll go with him, Sakura can you go home alone?" Ino asked.

"Huh? Oh uh..." Sakura wasn't sure.

Honestly she has never walked alone at night ever since the 'incident'.

"I'll take her home" Sasuke interrupted, taking her hand, dragging her back to his car.

"Hey! How can I trust you!" Ino yells back. "I don't need your trust" Sasuke said.

"So where is your house?" Sasuke asked. Sakura have been silent ever since the came in his car.

"Sakura" he said her name. She snapped out of her thoughts and looked at him. "O-oh uh it's in Hashi street" she said.

Sasuke noticed her change of attitude, she wasn't like this earlier.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"It's... nothing" she said.

Then he knew why. "You don't trust me" he said.

She immediately turned to him. "I-"

"Nah it's fine, not everyone trusts me" he said bitterly.

She looks down at her lap. "I'm sorry- hey that's my house" she said he pulls over and she got out but before that she heard him say:

"I'd probably try to earn your trust now"

She turned around and looked at him "I'm sorry?"

He smirks. "I'll get you to trust me"

"And how?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Just wait and see" he said.

Naruto woke up in a hospital bed. Beside him was his girlfriend who's currently asleep.

He sighs. "So I really did travel back in time" he murmured.

"What?" He jumps as he hears a voice behind him. He looks at the person, he had bored black eyes and long hair tied in a ponytail.

"Shikamaru" the guy said.

"Um.. Naruto" he introduced himself. "What do you mean to travel back in time?" Shikamaru asked eagerly.

"I- you probably won't believe me" Naruto laughs nervously then he stopped when he noticed that Shikamaru is serious.

"... I'll believe you... if you tell me" the guy said. Naruto wasn't sure if he was joking or not but his expression says otherwise.

Naruto sighs. "Look I'm just gonna say that... Ino will die in... August 12, 2021 with her brother"

Shikamaru's eyes widened. "Okay..." they stayed silent for a while until Shikamaru spoke.

"I'll be leaving now" he said.

"Okay..." Naruto said. They shook hands but then everything in Naruto's sight went black.

Naruto woke up in a bed that was not his. He thought he was dead.

"You're awake" a familiar voice blooms from beside him, he looks at the person, surprised to see "Shikamaru?"

"It's a long story..." he said.

Naruto looks at him confused. "I have time"

"I believed you when you said Ino... will die and so will her brother. I tried to save them that day but... I failed... but I saved her brother"

A person who looks younger than him came in the door. "Um... chips?" He said. Shikamaru turns to him "he's Choji, Ino's brother"

"Um... hi I'm Naruto" Choji only smiled at him.

"When I came looking for you the next day I found you but... you were gonna get shot so I saved you, while I held your hand you fainted for two days" Shikamaru explained.

"So I wasn't dreaming?!" Naruto almost shouted. "Yes" Shikamaru said. "I can't believe it! I can travel back time!" Naruto said happily.

He sensed the sad atmosphere so he backed down a little. "Um... so uh-"

"Triggering it was holding my hand"

"What?" Naruto looks at him.

"Yes, I noticed" he explained.

"And I also found out what's behind Ino's death"

"Woah! You're really cool Shikamaru!" Naruto exclaimed. "So why was she shot?"

Shikamaru's eyes darken. "It has something to do with Haruno Sakura's death ten years ago" he sad.

Naruto was still. Sakura died? He thought. "What? How did she-"

"October 16 2011, she was hit by a truck while being chased by someone"

"Chased?"

"That night, Ino forced Sakura to go to a party with her" Shikamaru explained.

"Wait- how did Sakura-chan get involved in this?" Naruto was confused now. "What does she have to do with Sasuke Uchiha?"

"... Sakura became Sasuke's lover... he blamed Ino and you from her death"

"Lover?"

"Yes... and if you want to save Ino... you will have to go back in time and save Sakura" Shikamaru said.

Naruto's eyes widened. "I... have to go back? In time?!"

"Yes... unless you don't want to, I can't force you-"

"I will! I'll save Sakura-chan and Ino!" He said with determination.

Shikamaru and Choji look at him, Shikamaru sighs and reaches out his hand.

"Well I hope you succeed on this... Naruto" Naruto nodded and shook his hand, then everything went black.

"Naruto? Naruto!" He heard Ino's voice beside him. "Uh? Ino?" He said.

"What do you mean Ino! We're late!" His girlfriend said.

"Late? Where?!" Naruto panics for a second. "I just came out of the hospital!"

"CLASS NARUTO! WE ALREADY MISSED THE THIRD QUARTER!"

"O-oh" Naruto didn't really care about school. He used to ditch it every chance he got.

But now he just has to take a closer look at Sakura and Sasuke's development.

Speaking of Sasuke, where does he learn?

Once they arrived, they went straight to their class which had already started.

"Yamanaka? And Uzumaki, care to explain?" Their white haired teacher said.

"Na-" Ino was about to explain but Mr. Hatake interrupted her "On second thought don't answer that go to your seats now"

Mr. Hatake was a weird teacher for sure, he was always late, and sometimes he would not even attend class.

One thing his students also noticed is that he always wears a mask and none of the faculties scolded him for it.

Their school might be public and doesn't have the best security but wearing masks for no reason is strictly prohibited.

Naruto thought of this as his mission. Save Sakura-chan to save Ino.

But first he needs to find out how Sasuke and Sakura, two opposites, came to love each other.

They weren't even in the same school!
