Prologue
It all started on Halloween day, everyone was singing and trick or treating and it was all fun and games. But not for the magicals of the world, no they have a war to deal with, but despite it being a war most of the people try to duck their heads and hope for the best.
But on this Halloween the leader of the opposition known as the Death Eaters want to rid the magical world of what they call Mudblood, individuals who are born from non magicals and they consider those who are a first generation magical user or half blood which are people from a magical and a first generation magical or Mudblood.
Then there are the Purebloods, those of magical origin and the only way to be considered pureblood is to have your parents and grandparents all be magical, and occasionally great grandparents.
But on this day the leader Voldemort is in front of the home, where two children that are destined to defeat her sleep.
Voldemort personally decided to kill them herself to avoid a prophecy which was told during an interview and was overheard by her Potions Master, Severus Snape.
Now at the front door Voldemort blasts it open with a flick of her wand and in front of her is James Potter, a pureblood of the Potter a family
"Lily go, protect Hadrian and Rose" He yells out
He is a blood traitor, despite being a pureblood it's sad for such families to go but i cannot kill another pureblood Voldemort thought as she stunned James. Walking over the unconscious body of James Potter, Voldemort walks upstairs to the baby's room where Lily Potter nee Evans stands in front of the crib.
"Stand aside" Voldemort tells her
"No, not my baby. Kill me instead" She begs
Despite her being a Mudblood she is what other Mudbloods should be, she is not ignorant of our ways and actually knows them and even practices some of them, she is also strong which is proof since the prophecy was made such a shame but i will not kill her Voldemort thought determined, Without a word Voldemort stuns Lily ignoring the crying from one of the babies.
Walking up to the crib Voldemort sees both children, Rose Potter lying on her back crying over her mother getting stunned, she has her mothers red hair and her beautiful green eyes. The second child, Hadrian Potter or Harry for short, had black hair like his father and emerald green eyes which shine like the killing curse. But for some odd reason he is looking at Voldemort with a hint of intelligence and he is oddly quiet.
"Hello child, it would seem you are destined to defeat me. I do apologize I don't like killing children especially ones as strong as you both seem to be" Voldemort says before noticing Hadrian nod
"Can you understand me?" Voldemort asked in shock, only to receive a nod from the young boy.
"I am truly sorry, your loss of life will forever sadden me, but it must be done to maintain the magical world from those who seek to change everything it stands for" Voldemort says to the young boy, who then pulls himself up to stand in his crib and looks Voldemort straight in the eyes before closing his eyes.
He understands and is ready to die, I truly wish I didn't have to kill him. Voldemort thought saddened.
"Avada Kedavra" Voldemort yells out as a curse of emerald green launches out of her wand and hits Hadrian before it bounces back into Voldemort
What!? Voldemort thought in shock as her body disintegrates and she finds herself in the room floating. Looking at the boy Voldemort sees confusion in the child's eyes
"Sowy" Hadrian apologizes, Voldemort looks at the child and sees genuine remorse.
"Don't worry about it, just please don't stand in my way" Voldemort says as she flies off
The child has a lot of potential and the fact that he survived the curse is proof enough, but is it a self fulfilling prophecy? Now that I think about it, there are nearly no true prophecies besides one or two within a few centuries and the rest are just self fulfilling Voldemort thought as she flew away.
Dumbledore runs into the Potter home and sees it in destroyed
"Lily, James!" Dumbledore calls out in horror, looking around he sees James completely unconscious.
"James!" Dumbledore yells out checking on his ex student.
Oh thank god Dumbledore thought sighing in relief and woke him up
James gets up immediately and looks around
"Albus, Where are Lily, Rose and Harry?" James ask panicking
"I don't know, lets go look in the nursery" Dumbledore says and the two move to the nursery to see Lily lying on the floor
"Lily!" Both Dumbledore and James exclaim
Checking Lily Dumbledore sighs in relief and looks at James
"She's just stunned" Dumbledore says smiling
Just then they hear crying from the crib. Smiling brightly at hearing the child Dumbledore gets up and looks in the crib to see Rose squirming while Hadrian lies sleeping.
"Dumbledore!" Dumbledore hears Lily exclaim, surprised.
Lily then runs to Dumbledore with fear but soon turns to happiness when seeing both her children alive and well.
"Oh my babies" Lily cried holding onto both her kids.
Dumbledore then noticed Voldemort's cloak and wand on the ground.
"Professor Dumbledore is that?" Lily asks shocked
"It is, one of the twins took out Voldemort" Dumbledore says with a sad smile
I hope they don't have to die, Dumbledore hoped with every fiber of his being.
"I think Rose is the one who did it, see she's still awake and has a lightning bolt scar" James says gesturing to the crying child.
"Maybe it is young Hadrian" Dumbledore says shrugging
"I don't think so, see he's still asleep and he doesn't have a mark" Lily says while still holding the sleeping child.
"Then Rose shall be the Girl-Who-Loved" Dumbledore says despite the gut feeling that he is incorrect
When it was Hadrian's and Rose's second birthday everyone who celebrated mainly celebrated Rose's birthday while Hadrian was merely an extra, this led to Lily and James thinking it best to have Hadrian have his own birthday with family while Rose had a birthday with all the people who came to see the Girl-Who-Lived.
The idea was great, only problem is when it was half way through the year they were so focused on Rose that they began to forget about Hadrian.
The once adorable twins who loved to spend time together no longer talked to each other since Rose always had her parents' attention and she didn't notice the lack of interaction she had with her brother.
Soon it was the twins' third birthday and the cake only had Rose's name on it, Rose then slowly forgot about her twin brother who only sat alone in his room while she made new friends and got new toys.
Hadrian was all alone and soon it was their 4th birthday, forgotten once more Hadrian cried in his room pleading with anyone who could listen to take him away and to never have to return, those were his last thoughts before he fell asleep.
Waking up Hadrian sees he is surrounded by darkness, shaking in fear Hadrian notices light behind him.
Turning around Hadrian is greeted by a girl who is made up of light
"Hello Hadrian Fleamont Potter, I see that you don't want to live with your family anymore" The girl says saddened
"They don't love me, they only care about my sister. If i disappear they won't care" Hadrian says bitterly
"Are you sure of this?" The girl asks hopeful that he will decline
"Yes, if i disappear they would be ecstatic. They won't have to worry about the non famous twin" Hadrian spat filled with disgust and anger
"Then i offer you a place where you can be more" The girl offers
"What's the catch?" Hadrian asks slightly guarded
"You must help protect it" The girl states
"Better than my home" Hadrian says home with disgust
The girl sighs and nods and soon Hadrian falls asleep.
Hadrian Pov
Waking up I see myself on the ground and looking around I instantly recoil in fear. There is large amounts of smoke surrounding me and at a distance there is a giant hole. Looking around I decide to move away from the hole, and while walking away I see a kid with blonde hair and green eyes with a dragon hilt with a broken blade, holding a baby.
"Hey you ok?" I call out
He turns to me and his eyes widen in surprise.
One thing I noticed is that his clothes are messed up, and in fact so are mine. It is damaged and ripped revealing my torso.
"How did you survive?" He asks in surprise with tears flowing down his eyes
"I don't know, all I know is waking up and that's it" I tell him honestly
"Ok, well let's go it's best that we get out of here" He says as we walk away from the damage
While walking away I notice the boy protecting the baby protectively
"Who's the baby?" I ask curious
"Her name is Elizabeth and her mother died in the explosion" He told me
So an explosion did this I thought.
"What's your name?" He asks me keeping me in his sight
"Hadrian, you?" I asks him
"Meliodas" Meliodas answers paying attention to me closely and guarded
Did I do something to him? I thought confused.
