Hello my fellow readers and welcome to our newest story, or in this case a side story collection! The first suggestion you're about to read is from DCDGojira, but the next chapter will be up to you all. So send in your requests for what you want to know or see about Team WA and it's little world! Now then, onto the first side story.

The Ice Queen's Graffitied Chariot

Beacon Academy: Time of the Vytal Festival

Winter Schnee did not consider herself any easily surprised, nor irritated woman. She was an Atlesian Specialist after all and that title meant that she was expected to have a certain degree of vigilance. Which was why it was all the more aggravating to the former Schnee heiress that today had taken so many unexpected turns. No sooner had she arrived to her old school of Beacon than she was beset upon by Qrow Branwen of all people.

Why the General held such a foul-smelling drunk in high esteem, or any esteem, was still a mystery to her, especially with the blatant disrespect he'd shown her androids and Atlas in general within the first minute of his arrival. To say it had ruined her moment of peace upon landing was an understatement. Admittedly, her own reaction to his buffoonery could've been better and it usually was, but there were some people who just knew how to set her off and Branwen was one of them. It still grated at her nerves that he was a trusted part of Ozpin's inner circle along with the General.

But, all of that could be set aside for what was really at the forefront of her mind at the moment: her little sister Weiss. It had been some time since she'd laid eyes on her sibling and while she didn't show it outright while at the landing pad, she was happy her dear sister had managed to make at least one friend while at Beacon. And since she was currently waiting on Ironwood to conclude his meeting, which she'd been forcibly excused from, there was little else to do at the moment but to track down her sister at her quarters. She did say she would inspect them after all. Like so many other things today, however, it seemed even that would be interfered with.

"Excuse me," said a male voice as Winter turned to see a man with dark hair, a brown traveling coat with chainmail beneath it and what appeared to be a pair of revolvers in holsters on his sides, "You wouldn't happen to be the owner of that ship out on the landing pad would you?" Winter looked to see that it was indeed her ship which the man was indicating.

"Whether or not that ship belongs to me is classified information," said Winter as she turned with her hands behind her back, "Am I addressing someone with clearance?"

"I don't think clearance is really the problem here," said the man as he rubbed the back of his head, "you see if that is your ship over there. You might want to take a good look at the side. I have a feeling my boys had something to do with it."

"Your boys?" Winter repeated with a questioning note in her voice. "Are you saying your children are lost and running around the Vytal Festival grounds unsupervised at this moment Sir?"

"Unsupervised, yes," replied the Man with a laugh, "but I doubt they'd get lost seeing as they've been attending Beacon for almost a year now. Even Aegis wouldn't get lost after hanging around somewhere that long."

"Aegis, that name does sound familiar," noted Winter as she searched her memory for where she last heard it. "He is one of the contenders in the Vytal Festival Tournament, is he not?"

"Yep, he and my oldest, Wayne, are both participating," said the Man with his arms crossed and a happy nod of his head.

"Wait, as in Wayne and Aegis Ursario," said Winter with a hint of surprise in her voice, "my sister has mentioned those two before."

"I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say she's one of the white-haired students," surmised the man, "Who was it he said he knew?" He snapped his fingers upon remembering the name. "Ah yeah, Weiss Schnee, the little heiress girl that likes to give them a hard time."

"The way my sister tells it, the two of them are very capable troublemakers when they put their minds to it," said Winter, "but she has acknowledged their skill in battle at the very least. Wait a moment, you said your boys. Wayne and Aegis are your sons then, Mr.?"

"Tobias," he said, "Tobias Ursario. My wife, Jen, and I are Beacon graduates ourselves and now our sons are following in our footsteps it seems. Though I didn't have a brother to pull crazy hijinks with when I was going here, just Tai and Qrow."

"That reminds me," said Winter, "you came over here to tell me something had been done to my ship. What was done exactly?"

"Well assuming that big Atlesian ship with the trailing ribbons is yours," said Tobias as he cocked a thumb at it, "my boys managed to create a rather, undignified, piece of artwork on the side with some high grade spray paint. Though it's hilarious depending on who you ask."

"I don't see how one can describe something as both 'undignified' and 'hilarious' at the same time," said Winter, "usually the word for something like that is 'juvenile', much like the games Qrow was playing with me earlier."

"Oh Qrow's here," said Tobias, "well if you two don't get along that's gonna be a problem given that he's an old friend of mine. So I'd best be on my way. Oh, and I recommend special cleaning solution to get that spray paint off your ship."

"As an Atlesian specialist I'm prepared for all manner of possible slights," assured Winter, "whatever your sons did to my ship, I doubt it will anger me anymore than Qrow normally would. But I do thank you for the information, farewell for now Mr. Ursario."

"Please, just call me Tobias," said the Huntsman as he turned to leave, "and thanks for being understanding." Winter simply shrugged as she turned and headed to inspect her ship. 'Honestly, we deal with simple vandalism all the time. What could they possibly do anyway?' As it turned out, more than she expected.

Upon arriving at the sight of the defacement she found herself to be, more than a little put off. She'd said she was prepared and she was, for some kind of hate message or a silly face or a childish drawing. But she had not anticipated someone would be bold enough to paint a massive, black piece of manhood on the side of her ship. To think someone would even have the gall to put something so horrendous on an Atlesian vessel, let alone that of a specialist's vessel.

In truth, her day had already been aggravating and this was simply the final straw. Which was why she did something uncharacteristic. Let out an earsplitting yell, the kind the entire campus likely heard. "So you think it's funny to deface Atlas property," said Winter as she clenched her fists, "pray that I never get the chance to get back at the two of you, Wayne and Aegis Ursario, because there will be agony involved in your punishment!"

Sure enough, a few months later when the Ursario brothers arrived at Atlas with the relic of knowledge, Winter Schnee neglected to mention their parents were also there. They were both in quite a bit of agony afterwards.

And so ends the first chapter of a new, hopefully entertaining story segment for Team WA. And hopefully everyone got a laugh out of it. As always feel free to leave a comment or review about what you liked/disliked. And do send in ideas because the next chapter will depend on what you all want to see next. So throw out those ideas for next week!
