Hello everyone, this is my first fan-fic and to be completely honest I have no idea what to do. I had this idea for a little bit and I just want to see it in play. In this fan-fic the gang is in high school and Hyde has a beard. Why? In my opinion he looks better with it. This takes place around the timeline of season 4. But, Eric and Donna are together and Jackie still tested Kelso. This an AU some things are canon and some things aren't. If you don't like AU's then this story isn't for you. This is Jackie and Hyde centric. I'm pretty sure this chapter is gonna be short. Anyways, on with the story.

Eric Forman's Basement

October 26, 1978

4:30 P.M

The gang are all hanging out in Eric Forman's basement. Eric sitting next to Donna on the ratty couch with his arm around her shoulder. Hyde sitting on his usual chair and Fez sucking on a popsicle sitting on the lawn chair watching reruns of Happy Days. When Kelso burst in the basement with a big smile plastered on his face.

"Guess who totally did it with the new girl in the janitors closet." Kelso said, catching everyone's attention. "This guy." he continued pointing his two thumbs at himself.d some thing

"No a cheating idiot, you're with Jackie." Donna said, rolling her eyes.

"No-uh, it's not cheating if she wasn't there." Kelso stated as if it was an obvious answer.

A grin appeared on Eric's face as he said "She is now." Kelso turnt around to see a shocked Jackie.

"Uhh Jackie I..."

" No, Micheal I heard everything."

"But.."

"I don't wanna hear your lame excuses, Micheal. You're a dirty pig."

"I…"

"Micheal Kelso, you and I are done for good."

"Jackie.."

"For the love of god, Can you two just get back together? It gets less entertaining every time you do this fuckery." Hyde said he rolled his eyes.

"What do you mean?" Jackie asked.

"I think what our curly haired, rebellious friend meant is it gets less enjoyable every time you and Kelso break up just to get back together." Fez said still sucking the life out that popsicle.

"What? No Micheal and I aren't getting back together." She said reassuring herself more than everyone else.

"Sure." Hyde said sarcastically as he focused his attention back on the tv.

"We aren't. Is that what you all think when we break up?" She looked at everyone as they all tried to focus back on the tv. "Donna?"

The redhead slowly looked up at the tiny brunette "Well, you and Kelso do tend to break up and get back together."

"Really, that's what you think? That's what all of you think? That Micheal and I are just some joke or that when I say something it's not to be taken seriously."

She looked around to only hear the tv noises in the background and to see everyone but Hyde smiling sheepishly. "Jackie.." the redhead was about to say something only to be cut off by the tiny brown haired girl "No, I get it." She ran out the basement.

"Nice going, Hyde." She said before running after Jackie.

"Sorry, I just tell it like it is." Hyde said, shrugging, returning his gaze fully to the television. He knew it was a little wrong to just say that at the moment in that tone. But, it was true why argue and fight just to get back together? He still felt a little guilty and a part of him told him to apologize. While, the other told him to continue watching tv and get the thought of Jackie crying out of his head.

"I.." Kelso said, still standing in shock.

After an hour and a half of talking to the tiny brunette in the Forman's driveway. Her and the redhead were in the Pinciotti's living room on the couch watching god knows what.

"You know I'm not even sad about Micheal. I just can't believe he cheated on me with a blonde twice."

"Umm Jackie it's ok if you were sad about Kelso. You took him back expecting better just to see him go back to his old ways."

"Ugh and she has blue eyes. What is it with blondes and blue eyes that are so hot?"

"Jackie.."

"Can you believe people are already calling that skank hot?"

"Jackie.."

"Like how are you knew and already having sex with people's boyfriends?"

"Jackie.."

"Anyways, what are you and Eric doing for Halloween?"

"BEULAH!"

"What?" the tiny brunette gasped.

"You can be sad about Kelso you don't have to hide it from me."

"Donna, I'm not sad about Micheal. He did what he did and didn't care so why should I?"

"But you should, you even tested him just to see if you can trust him and when you thought you could he blew it."

"God lumberjack, way to bring the mood down."

"Whatever, midget." Donna said, realizing it's pointless.

"Like I said before I was so rudely interrupted" the tiny brunette said rolling her eyes. "What are you and Eric doing for Halloween?"

"Nothing really."

"Oh my god, me too. Micheal and I were gonna dress up as Jeannie and Major Nelson. What are you and Eric gonna dress up as?"

"Well, Eric and I were gonna dress up as Fred and Daphne." the redhead said.

"Really, I see Eric more as a Shaggy." the tiny brunette tilted her head in question.

The redhead shrugged "Well, we aren't anymore there's nothing to do so what's the point."

"Again, way to bring the down, lumberjack." Donna rolled her eyes at the comment

"But you do have a point there is nothing to do." The tiny brunette pouted.

"Whatever I'm going to the kitchen, want anything?" She said getting up from the couch.

"Jeez, it's always food with you."

The redhead rolled her eyes

"A soda." the pixie brunette said. The redhead nodded and exited to the kitchen.

There is nothing to do she thought as she let out a sigh and turnt to the tv.

Need something to do this Halloween week? The tv announced.

"That was convenient." the tiny brunette said.

Well, then come down to the Monster Manor we're having a three for four deal. Call the number on the screen for tickets.

"Wow, things are really looking Jackie." the pixie brunette squealed as she wrote the number down and walked to the kitchen to see Donna standing at the counter making a sandwich.

The redhead finally noticed Jackie and had said before Jackie could get a word in.

The redhead had spoken "Look, Jackie I know you don't wanna talk about it or admit it. But, I don't think that you're over Kelso, he lied to you, cheated on you. You can't just betray your feelings just because it might be depressing. The same thing happened to me when Eric and I broke it helped better if you talk about. I mean the last you and Kelso broke you ended up going on a date with Hyde. You need to sit with yourself and let it out. Maybe, you'll be less heartbroken when you and him get back together."

"What? Donna me and Micheal aren't getting back together."

"Jackie, be real with yourself."

"I am being 'real' with myself. Micheal and I aren't getting back together."

"Jackie."

"I'm serious. I know him and I were off and on for a bit. But, I mean it this time."

"Jackie. You said that the last time you and Kelso were broken up."

"Donna you know what, I can't have this conversation right now. I'm going home, see you later."

"Jackie."

Before the taller girl got another word in, Jackie had left.

Her house is still empty with the exception of her maid/nanny Maria. Her dad on a business trip or press run and her mom was god knows where. When they would return was unknown to her. Jackie who just finished getting prepared for the night sat down on her bed pretzel style with her diary on her lap.

She knew it wasn't a very mature thing to do at her age but she still kept a diary and wrote in it every moment she had to herself. She called it a daybook to make it sound more mature and feminine even though she was the only allowed to see it. It was the only good thing her parents gave to her. It was a coping mechanism sometimes and a friend, many other times. All she knew if this daybook got out it would have to be when she was six feet under.

Hey Daybook,

It's me I haven't seen you since this morning and so much has already changed. For one, Micheal cheated on me, AGAIN. I know I'm Jackie freakin' Burkhart I don't get cheated on. I'm the girl guys want to cheat with. Anyways, I dumped his sorry ass no one believed it was for real. Especially Donna and Hyde. Hell, I at one point didn't think it was for real. They think that he and I are just gonna run to each other. But it is for real, I'm officially done with him. I just need everyone to know that is for good. I need myself to know it's for good. So that's why I've devised a plan to persuade everyone into thinking that he and I are done. I have created the perfect Halloween night for my friends and I. Once, they are there they'll completely forget whatever nonsense they believed about Micheal and me. I'll have such a good time without him they'll think I'm completely over him. I know this sounds a little naive on paper but once I put it into each they'll never know what hit them. I'm just sick of them thinking I'm some pathetic lovesick loser. Who continuously goes back to toxic relationships. I know this sounds a little dramatic but it's true I don't want them looking down on me because no one looks down on me. That's why I need this to work I need them to think no believe that I'm better than that. That's why I need this plan to work it's gonna how good at I am at having good time with or without Micheal. I'm also gonna look super cute doing it. Well, I always look super cute but this time I'll look super duper cute doing it. Until next time.

Sincerely,

Jackie.

Ok I guess we are done. I told this chapter would be short; it was only a chapter to get the plot going lemme know what you think in the reviews. Also, I know Jackie's acting a little dramatic but again it's Jackie Burkhart so... What can you do?
