By the way, if you have trouble pronouncing the title, it's Om-nificent. Try replacing the word from magnificent and with the sound Om.

Prologue: Jen Ten Origin

Ben Tennyson, Earth's greatest hero who countlessly saved planets, galaxies, universes--even all of reality and time on more than one occasion, faces the most challenging moment in his entire life, being a father.

He paces nervously outside the delivery room at Bellwood Memorial Hospital while his wife, Kai Green was in labor.

Finally he stopped pacing when a gentle, but firm robotic hand touched his shoulder and turned to see his Grandpa Max.

"Relax, Ben." Max reassures, "I'm sure Kai will be just fine and so will the baby.

"I know, Grandpa." Ben mentions, "but she's been in there for too long and I'm kind of sweating buckets over here."

"Glad, I'm not in your shoes right now Tennyson." Kevin snickers at his cousin-in-law who narrowed his eyes in annoyance.

"Kevin!" Gwen nudges her husband, "don't contradict yourself."

"Just trying to lighten up the mood." He shrugs nonchalantly.

"That's not exactly helping." Ben pinches the bridge of his nose, wondering why he invited him in the first place.

"Not to worry, Ben." Rook interjects, "I have already requested Azmuth and Eunice to assist on this most momentous occasion."

"Azmuth?!" Ben panics at the news. "You're telling me a professional human doctor is not delivering my kid!"

Before anyone could calm him down, the double-doors suddenly opened and a tired-looking galvan and his assistant, stepped out.

"Go on in, Ben." Azmuth urged. "There's someone who wishes to see you."

Slowly, as if in a trance, Ben made his way into the delivery room behind him, his family and friends smiled and followed in tow.

The first thing he saw was his wife's exhausted, but immensely happy face as she cradled a tiny, blanket-wrapped figure in her arms. She looked up at him from the bed she was lying on and beamed.

"Ben..." Kai whispered softly, "come and say hello to your daughter."

He slowly approached the bed and saw the face of his daughter asleep, her chubby cheeks still red and the tiniest wisps on top of her small head were dark like her mother's.

Ben sat on a nearby chair and tentatively reached out to take her from his wife's arms. He slowly rocks his daughter in his strong arms as her eyes slowly opened, revealing bright green orbs.

"Hi there." He softly smiles, then briefly glances at Kai, gazing fondly at the two. "I'm your father and this is your family."

Soon afterwards, everyone took turns saying 'hello' to the infant, though the newly parents let Grandpa Max and Gwen spend the longest time with her. Even Kevin cracked a smile at his niece when she curiously pulled on his finger.

"Congratulations, both of you!" Eunice squeals, though made sure to keep her voice low as she peered at Gwen's cradling arms. "You're going to be fantastic parents!"

"Thanks, Eunice." Ben proudly grins before asking his cousin. "But I got to know Gwen, does she have the Spark of the Anodites?"

Kai sat up from her bed curious as her cousin-in-law momentarily closed her eyes and placed her finger on their daughter's forehead. After checking, she excitably opens her glowing magenta eyes.

"She's definitely got the spark!" Gwen confidently confirms, "I wager that she'll grow up to be one of the strongest Mana-users, aside from me and Grandma Verdona."

"But, don't worry." She notices him worrying, "I'll make sure to convince Verdona to allow her to stay here on Earth. I'll be sure, she won't try take her to Anodyne like she did with me."

"Yeah, I wouldn't want Grandma Verdona trying to destroy her human body like she almost did with Gwen." Kevin commented. "No doubt, she'll be one powerful Anodite."

"Why of course!" Professor Paradox suddenly intrudes the hero family from his swirling vortex. "Considering who her parents are, I wouldn't be surprised."

"Paradox?" Ben wasn't fazed by his appearance, since he travels from time to time. "What brings you here, old friend?"

"Excellent question." He approached them with his trusty futuristic cane, "I have come to visit your possible successor."

"Does this mean she'll inherit the Omnitrix when she's older?" Ben questioned.

"I don't know for certain, but rather there are some futures that I can't possibly wander off to." He shook his head. "We'll just have to wait and see how it goes for this little one."

"Good to know." Max nodded as he fondly looked at his great-granddaughter. "If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to know this little Tennyson's name."

"Almost forgot about that." Ben glanced at his wife, she then encouragingly nodded at the name they've chosen together.

"Jenna." He softly strokes his daughter's flushed cheek. "And Gwen, too."

"Me?" Gwen looked surprised and flattered by his suggestion.

"Who else would make the godmother?" Ben joked.

"Really?" She looked at both parents who were very sure.

"And we also want Kevin to be the godfather." Kai mentions.

"Fine, I'll do it." He smirked, playfully nudging his wife's shoulder.

Everyone else in the room shared tender smiles as they each welcomed the newest addition to the Tennyson family.

"Now, then!" Professor Paradox clears his throat before welcoming the newborn. "Welcome, Jenna Gwendolyn Tennyson. May you grow up to become a great hero that you are destined to be..."
