Vampire Families In order to stay under the radar in Forks, the cover story is as follows. The Cullen Family and the Swan Family are extended families to each other (it makes the most sense because they're all brunettes). Carlisle and Esme's children are Edward and Alice, but given the fact that the Swan family's parents died in a tragic accident, they adopted Bella and Emmett The Hale family is extremely close to the Cullen Clan and Rosalie and Jasper are staying with them during their high school days while they're parents are having a romantic getaway.

About Taylor Alison Royal Taylor's Mom was an elf (the type of elf from the Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger) and her Dad was a vampire. As in both worlds it was illegal to conceive a child (whether it was just because it was a child (immortal child) or a child with another species), her parents had to leave her on her own as soon as she got a good understanding of what life was like. Her mother gave her enough money for her whole life (because of the riches of the elven world) but she and Taylor's father left her on her own as soon as she turned 18.

Physical Attributes Taylor is 5'10" as well and has a body like a models'. She has dark, thick wavy hair that goes halfway down her back. Since she is both an elf AND a vampire, she can shift between having a heartbeat and not, as well as having more vampiric attributes (ex: pale skin, gold eyes) and elvin attributes (ice blue eyes, tan skin).

Elf Capabilities Taylor has the same capabilities of any other elf in the world of the Lost Cities. Her special abilities that manifested as soon as she was born are telepathy (the ability to read minds as well as transmit thoughts and block other mind readers - YES, SHE BLOCKS EDWARD'S ABILITY) linguists (as soon as she detects a language or dialect or accent she can adopt it and understand everything perfectly) and teleportation with a twist. With a single thought, she can open a void that lets her teleport to any given destination.

Vampire Capabilities Taylor has the speed and strength (as well as beauty) of a vampire. She is just like another average vampire with no gift, except for the fact that she has a gift. Her gift is agility and speed. She also has a physical shield, but not the mental shield that Bella has.

About This Universe The story takes place both in modern day and in 2005. This is an alternate universe of the Twilight Saga, so the events that occurred in the books already happened in this story but in a different town. Jake, Leah, Seth and Renesmee mainly stay on the reservation, but they are considered family to the Cullens. The mated pairs in the story are Carlisle & Esme, Edward & Bella, Jasper & Alice, and Jake & Renesmee. Emmett and Rosalie are not mated. REWRITE 8/19/21: It takes place in Forks, and the timeline is split. The first part of the story takes place in the time in New Moon when the Cullen family was split up. In this AU, Rosalie split entirely from the family and went back to New York. The second part of the story takes place after the events of Breaking Dawn.

About The Story The main character, Lily, is a fanfiction author who has trouble in her own life. She starts writing a fanfiction based on the Twilight series where an OC vampire/elf hybrid meets the Cullens. She fails to complete the story and falls asleep, waking up as the character she had just created. She finds herself stranded in a make-believe world and has to live through the plot of her own story.

Additional Details The main character comes from our modern day society, and therefore, she has access through her phone to modern day technologies. I might create a story that the main character, Lily, had been writing, as it would be a cool prequel to make, but it's just a thought, not a reality.
