NOTE: THIS IS AN AU OF THE ANIME. The main characters Yuzu Aihara and Mei Aihara are females in their 20s. I've maintained their relationship as step sisters who fell in love with each other. I've decided to make this a series of one shots, mostly involving Yuzu and Mei and their lives together as girlfriends who are living together.

INT./ AIRBNB ROOM, CATALONIA - AFTERNOON
A naked MEI is lying sprawled on her stomach on a double bed, a grey blanket covering her from the waist to her knee. She is sleeping with the left half of her body on top of YUZU who is awake and also naked, partially covered by the same grey blanket on Mei, her right hand caressing Mei's arm splayed out on her.
The afternoon sun is starting to cast its warm light through the glass window inside the old AirBnb room, lending its glow and partially illuminating the room's dark interior.
Yuzu turns her gaze towards it and tries to calculate the amount of time left before the sun's rays reaches the bed which may prematurely wake up her Mei.
My Mei. The reality of that phrase is starting to sink in, creating a warmness within Yuzu that spreads throughout her entire being. A soft smile forms on her lips.
Mei has been sleeping for almost 4 hours, tired from the early morning flight and walking she did earlier and the sleepless night she had to endure the night before searching for available flights to Barcelona.
Yuzu studies Mei's sleeping face which is turned towards her, taking mental notes on how the hairs of Mei's eyebrows are gathered together neatly and thins out at the end, how her long eyelashes are slightly turned up, how her straight nose ends with a small bulbous tip, how her thin lips are slightly pink and just perfect in its fullness, and how her plump cheeks are just enough to hide the bones that mark it. She observes that the creases that usually line Mei's forehead and the baggy eyelids, glaring testimonies of the stress she had gone through, are missing. She listens contentedly to the quiet breaths coming out of Mei's slightly parted lips.
She slowly stretches her left arm, careful not to move her shoulder that supports Mei's head. She uses her left hand to brush away the stray strands of hair on Mei's face and tucks them behind her ear.
Wake up. She continues to gaze on Mei's face, resisting the urge to cover it with kisses.
Wake up. She's aware that it doesn't give her much pleasure to kiss someone who is sleeping because they can't kiss her back.
Wake up. She contents herself by running the tips of her fingers lightly on Mei's face.
Wake up.
As if on cue, Mei stirs slightly and takes a deep audible breath. Yuzu takes this opportunity to reposition her pinned down shoulder which is starting to ache. Mei shifts her body a little, slowly opens one eye and mumbles. Yuzu moves her face closer to Mei's.
"Where am I?" Mei blinks and slowly rubs her eyes with the back of her hand.
"Hi." Yuzu whispers and smiles brightly. Mei smiles back when she catches the sight of the blonde's face. Yuzu starts giving her slow, small kisses all over her face. Mei responds by giggling. Yuzu ends her kisses by planting a long kiss on the brunette's lips, who kisses her back. After a while, they break the kiss slowly. Mei stares at Yuzu, smiling.
"Hi." Mei caresses Yuzu's face.
"Did you get enough rest?" Yuzu asks, placing her hand on Mei's waist.
Mei moves slightly away from Yuzu and stretches her hands on top of her head, yawning at the same time. When she finishes, she turns and faces the taller girl. "I think that was enough," she smiles. "What time is it?"
The sun's rays reach the edge of the bed by this time, and its radiance reflecting more of its warm glow inside, lighting up the entire room. Yuzu turns to gaze at the light entering their room. She shields one arm up to protect her eyes from its glare, then faces Mei, squinting, "I'm guessing sometime between 2 and 3pm."
Mei stares at her in amazement, then her reaction changes into concern. "I slept on top of you. Are you ok?" She reaches out and touches Yuzu's shoulder and body.
Yuzu chuckles and holds Mei's arms. "I'm fine." She suddenly shifts her body towards the brunette until she rests on top of her. "See?" She removes the blanket separating them, and feels her warm skin touching hers. Mei brushes the blonde's hair to one side of her head so she can see her face clearly. She then leans forward and gives Yuzu a long kiss, slipping her hand behind her head as she pulls her close. Yuzu puts her hand behind Mei's head to hold it in place and kisses back. Still maintaining the kiss, she slowly places Mei's head back on the pillow. A few moments later, Yuzu starts moving slowly.
"Aren't you hungry?" Mei mumbles beneath Yuzu's lips.
"It can wait," Yuzu whispers in between kisses.
Suddenly, a low rumbling sound is heard emanating from between the two pressed bodies. The blonde stops moving and looks at Mei, who looks as surprised as she is. Another rumbling sound is heard, this time a little longer than the first. Mei laughs as Yuzu presses her forehead on the smaller girl's cheek.
"I think your tummy is protesting." Mei blurts out, still laughing. Yuzu lets out a deep sigh, looks at Mei and gives her a kiss. Another short rumble is heard.
"Stop complaining." Yuzu answers back.
Mei chuckles and wraps her arms around Yuzu's neck. "We can do this anytime. Let's feed you first."
