Rachel Berry and Quinn Fabray may only be acquaintances with not much in common, but they're about to find out that they have more in common that they thought.
It all started when Quinn learned something shocking from overhearing a conversation Rachel was having with her best friend Kurt Hummel.
"So how was your date with Jesse this weekend?" Kurt asked
"So good. He took me to Olive Garden for our 3 month anniversary." Rachel said with a smile unaware that Quinn was taking her seat next to her.
"Did Jesse get you anything? Kurt asked
"Red roses." Rachel said
"Those aren't even your favorite kind of flower. They're pink." Kurt said
"He said he forgot. But I appreciate the gesture." Rachel said
"Are you guys talking about Jesse as in Jesse St James?" Quinn asked
"Yeah why?" Rachel asked
"Cause this weekend, he also took me to Olive Garden and gave me pink roses and said he forgot I like red roses." Quinn said
"Was it also your 3 month anniversary?" Rachel asked
"Yes. Oh my god, we're dating the same guy." Quinn said
"Did he tell you also that he'd prefer it if we don't post pictures of us together on social media and that he wants to keep the relationship on the down-low?" Rachel asked
"Yes. Let me see your pictures and you can see mine." Quinn said as her and Rachel switched phones
"Oh my god. Some of these pictures are on the exact same days I've been out with him." Rachel said
"We need to do something to get back at him. When is the next time you're seeing him again?" Quinn asked
"Today at dance class after school." Rachel said
"What if I pretend to be a perspective student and then when we see him, we confront him together." Quinn suggested
"That's perfect. Meet me in the parking lot after school then." Rachel said
"I'll be there. Also let's go to lunch together later." Quinn said
"I'd love to. While we're at it, wanna exchange phone numbers?" Rachel asked
"Definitely." Quinn said
Before confronting Jesse, Rachel and Quinn bonded and learned that they have more in common than they thought. For example, they both have the same taste in music and were able to make a breakup playlist to have a jam session too. They were also able to talk about pretty much anything and everything. Before they knew it, it was time to go to the dance studio and confront Jesse.
"You ready?" Quinn asked
"Yeah." Rachel said as they headed in the studio
"Hey babe, who is this girl?" Jesse asked as he saw them
"Who are you calling babe? As far as I'm concerned, this relationship is done." Rachel said
"Why are you dumping me?" Jesse asked shocked
"Because you've been seeing me also. Also I'm dumping you too." Quinn said
"How do you guys even know each other?" Jesse asked
"We go to school together. Also care to explain these pictures?" Rachel asked
"You didn't even give me the right roses. You repeat the exact same things you do with her with me." Quinn yelled
"Chill out." Jesse said as he tried to touch Quinn's shoulder only to be pushed away by her
"Don't tell me to calm down asshole. Also you would've been exposed cause your school is playing our school on Friday." Quinn yelled
"No I wouldn't of." Jesse said cockily
"You wish. Quinn, let's go." Rachel said as her and Quinn walked away
Overall that experience changed everything for Rachel and Quinn. The 2 girls became the best of friends after that experience.
