Author's note: hello everyone I have done persona fanfic's before what's this one's a lot more serious. As we all know persona 5 can be a pretty dark game at times and in case you guys can't tell based off of all of my works so far I like to do comedy making people laugh is what I live for thatsaid I will give my best to tackle the themes and a suitable way back side front of 5 is a long game and I know how it feels when something gets cancelled so there will be quite a few things I will be rushing through or skipping over but I don't want this to just be my what if persona 5 big plan, so there will be quite a few noticeable difference is between this and the original source that is based on for the sake of this story. without further ado you please enjoy.

Sumire Yoshizawa seems like she was finally making some progress, but her therapist recommended that she transfer to a different school to help her try to forget and have a fresh start. Her father agreed not because he thought it was the best idea but he couldn't think of anything to help in his own way the sides be there for her after all she wasn't the only one suffering. "Meeting new people can be scary trust me and are going to be on your own for a bit." Dr. Maruki said " first impressions are important so if you're ever talking to someone any don't really know what to say try telling a joke or two, a good laugh is always a great ice breaker. For example" He tried telling a couple of jokes but she kind of just drowned them, they weren't really that funny anyway. Dr. Maruki was a pretty huge dork but his heart is always on the right place, Sumire didn't know what to say so instead she just tried to put on a smile to try to ease his worrying. "Yoshiwa no matter what happens if you ever need to talk please call me."

"Thank you Dr Maruki" Sumire woke up the Following day to get ready. First she made herself some breakfast, then she went and back to her room to finish getting dressed. Her mother told her that he would drive her school for the first day so she don't have to worry about catching the bus, all she had to do was pack her bag get in the car. She double check to see if she had everything "Right my phone." when she grabbed it from her night stand she noticed there was a weird looking App with a red eye for a logo. "I cell phone number downloading that." she uninstalled it got in the car. The drive there was awkward, all the conversations where kept short with very blunt answers.

" I heard the school has a very popular volleyball team."Ms. Yoshizawa said

"I'm not really interested in volleyball." Sumire replied, finally making eye contact "I still want to be a gymnast, I haven't given up yet."

"Well you should probably get in contact with your coach then." she suggested. Sumire signed at the thought.

"I know" she hasn't spoken Coach Hiraguchi since the accident. It wasn't that she was trying to avoid her, but between the therapy sessions and moving she didn't really know what to say when she sees her again. The confused girl pulled out her phone "Huh?" The strange app that she deleted was somehow still there. "That's weird" she said before deleting a second time. Once they got to the school she met the principal and her homeroom teacher, Mrs. Yoshizawa was thrilled to find out that they were willing to help Sumire get it scholarship (meaning that she would have to call her couch sooner rather than later.) After everything was situated Sumire's mom drove her home and they had dinner with the family(Mr. Yoshizawa and her grandma.) while Sumire was still nervous about going to a new school she tried her best not to show it so everyone would stop worrying. After dinner was over she went upstairs to her room where she wanted to prepare for her first day, when she got all that finished up there is one last thing that needed to be "Okay I can do this." she pull up Hiraguchi name on her phone, the very second it started to ring the young girl felt under easy. Ring ring then suddenly "Huh?" Sumire phone has been acting up "Oh come on, why now!" she tossed it on the hello next to her and decided to call it a day.

"Sumire" Someone called out to her, the young girl opened her eyes and saw nothing but a white void. "Sumire" the voice called out again this time it was slightly louder then before, but she recognize this voice; it belonged to her twin sister Kasumi. She'll never forget that day, it was raining and the two of them had just finished practice and we're heading home. Sumire was feeling frustrated, jealous even that her sister was doing some much better then her. Kasumi tried her best to reassure her that she just need to be patient and things will turn around, but she couldn't stand it, not anymore. So she ran; she ran as fast her legs would let her. "Wait" The ghost said "Slow Down" As it give chase. "Sumire Sumire Sumire!" Was she heard, that is until voice was drowned out by the sound of a car slamming on the breaks. " SUMIRE!" was called out for a final time.

How many times must she replay this moment even though it causes her so much pain, it be easier to forget but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't. She couldn't forget how Kasumi pushed her out the way, she couldn't forget how her heart shattered in pieces when she saw her sister's blood all over the street, she couldn't forget the rain.

Author's note: okay so first things first not everything is going to be this/sad but I thought this needed to be told now then later to properly set the mindset for Sumire. Second if you like this so far please let me know your thoughts I'd love to have some feedback.
