Hi guys. This is a story of some missing scenes and an alternative that could have happened in season 1 episode 8 of Lone Star. Enjoy. :)

The 126 were on their way to a call out by a family looking for help. All of them were tired after a long day fighting fires and helping people but they all knew to keep spirits up if they were going to get through the next rescue they were going to.

"I really need a rest after this!" TK moaned as he became more frustrated by another rescue.

"Give it a rest TK!" Judd moaned back, becoming frustrated at his mate's attitude.

"Why don't you both be quiet?!" Their captain suggested sensing their anger.

Owen had had about enough of those two today. Yes it had been a long day but he thought just for once his watch would get along for one rescue that day.

The two colleagues turned away from each other so they didn't have to face each other. Owen sighed quietly as Paul drove on through the heavy traffic in front of them to get to the rescue.

"Let's discuss something else shall we?" Paul suggested in an act of changing the mood as best he could.

"What would you suggest?" Owen pointed his head back to the others who were nearly asleep.

"What are we having for dinner maybe?" Paul smiled.

The rest of the crew went to attention as soon as he said this. Dinner always made the crew awake even if they had to wait for ages to get it. It was always on everyone's mind no matter how the day was going.

"Alright. What does everyone want?" Paul asked looking back at the eager faces.

"Anything warm and massive quantities." TK nodded.

None of the crew disagreed with this idea. Owen smiled as the group shouted out things they could make for dinner.

"A curry. There's always loads of it and it's hot." Marjan said loudly over the top of everyone else.

"We had that yesterday." Paul moaned concentrating on driving but still saying things when possible.

"It's a nice thing to eat." Marjan said.

"Yeah but not two days in a row!" Paul kept on saying.

"Guys let's not argue on everything!" Owen said to them trying to get them to decide.

"Well you suggest something Mr smarty pants!" Marjan nearly shouted.

"Hey leave my dad alone!" TK nearly shouted back.

"TK it's fine." Owen calmed him down.

TK nearly went into a strop over this. Marjan just ignored him and carried on listening to the conversation.

"Besides she's right. If we have a curry then at least we know we all like it." Owen shrugged as the crew finally came around to the idea.

"Alright fine." Judd sighed even though inside he was very happy that they decided to have curry tonight.

"Now can we focus on the task in hand!" Owen piped up getting a little bit happier that his team would work together.

"That would be nice as we are here." Paul said, pulling up to the address they were sent to.

The team stopped talking and put their game faces on ready to face whatever was coming their way. They had barely gotten out of the firetruck when Michelle walked towards them.

"What we got?" Owen said as he met her outside the house.

"The police have dealt with it I'm afraid. We might have a problem with one of the people inside though." Liv said to Owen looking at the team gathered in front of her.

"Alright. Thanks." Owen said patting her on the back.

The team followed Owen into the house with other emergency services watching them, ready to lend a hand just in case they needed it. They were sure they wouldn't but just in case.

TK went forward with the battering ram with Owen and Judd following just behind. Marjan and Paul brought up the rear with Julian following them watching everything they did.

"Austin Fire department!" Owen called into the room.

"Please help. He's not breathing!" Came a distressed woman's answer.

Owen nodded at TK to use the battering ram to get into the room where they were. The rest of the team stepped back so that TK could have enough room to maneuver.

"One… two… three." Owen said quietly as the battering ram hit the door wide open.

Owen saw the glint of something out of the corner of his eye just as the door opened.

"No!"

BANG.
