A/N: Here we go again back in my blood moon universe. I probably won't update this one as much as I have in the past but will keep it going. I'm not entirely sure where this will go but it will probably go somewhere.
Enjoy!
Hanna rubbed at her eyes sleepily and yawned. Sniffing at the air she could tell it was later in the morning. Sitting up she she glanced at her balcony doors and padded over to them.
Pulling back the sheer dusty pink curtains she shielded her eyes from the sun. Walking back over to her bed she grasped at her rag doll that she slept with and cracked open the door that led to her mother's room.
She wasn't there. The bed was still made meaning she hadn't slept in the room. Knowing that meant she was probably in her fathers bedroom with him Hanna padded out into the hallway adjusting her nightgown before sitting on the ground next to his door.
She could hear the familiar sounds of her father moving about his room. Extending her senses and energy to him she felt the familiar comfort as he greeted her. He would be out soon.
Taking her doll she began untangling the strands of yarn hair and hummed to herself softly. Yawning again she was still excited despite being tired.
As the bedroom door opened Hanna stared at up her father. Smiling widely at him she stood up as he scooped her into his arms.
"Good morning my pup." Sesshomaru greeted nuzzling against her cheek.
"Morning Papa." She giggled out as she returned his show of affection. "Where's mama?"
"Mama is sleeping, she's tired." He replied. "Would you like to help me make mama breakfast?"
Nodding quickly Hanna wrapped her arms around his neck as he first brought her into the washroom to clean her teeth and make sure she emptied her bladder.
Once downstairs in the kitchen he sat her on the island counter top as he began busying himself with grabbing a pan to cook on.
"Shall we have a Japanese breakfast or an American one?" He asked knowing what her answer would be.
"American! With pancakes! Waffles! The fry toast!" She exclaimed enthusiastically.
"French toast?"
"Yeah, fry toast." Hanna said again.
"Very well." Sesshomaru agreed and before long the kitchen was filled with wonderful smells.
"Papa, I wanna get flowers for mama." Hanna said jumping down off the counter with her doll.
"Go ahead pup." He said. Hanna bounded for the back door of the kitchen to her garden. Taking the garden scissors that they used next to the watering can she found a nearly perfect pink rose.
Careful of its thorns she cut it and smelled its petals. Crinkling her nose she had forgotten that real roses smelled bad, not sweet. It was still pretty though.
Making her way back into the kitchen she took a deep breath inhaling all of the savory smells.
Watching her father plate the food he had just prepared he placed it along with a cup of tea on the serving tray.
"Were you able to find a flower Hanna?" He asked. Nodding she presented it to him. "Beautiful." Taking it from her he put it on the tray and motioned for her to follow him.
Up the stairs and into her fathers room with him he placed the tray on the nightstand. Hanna climbed onto the bed clamoring next to her mother.
"Mama be up. Mama it's morning time." Hanna said shaking her shoulder. Kagome stirred and turned over.
"I don't wanna." She groaned out.
"Papa made you breakfast and I got you flowers." Hanna replied.
"Oh well, in that case…" Sitting up she pulled her daughter into a hug. "Good morning baby girl. You have good dreams?"
"Uh-huh." She said happily. As Sesshomaru sat beside them on the bed he pulled his mate and pup to him laying his head against Kagomes.
"Did you have good dreams?" He asked her receiving a light blush.
"The best." Giving him a modest smile she ran her fingers through Hannas hair. The motion began to make her sleepy again and she felt her eyes begin to drift shut.
There was no where else the little girl loved being more, surrounded by her parents. Their warmth, their scents, she could feel their love for her in waves and it soothed her.
Pulling away from Kagome she sat to face both of them. "Mama you're gonna have a baby." Hanna blurted out.
"No. Not right now Hanna." Kagome said with a smile. "Maybe later on, in a few years but mama wants to keep going to school."
"It's going to be a boy. He's already been made." Hanna stated seriously. "Can I have a pancake?"
Both of her parents stared at her as she helped herself to the food on the tray.
"How do you know this Hanna?" Sesshomaru asked.
"Because zumu ask me what I wanted. I told her a baby brother. Zumu told me to wish for him so I did." She said with a shrug.
"Just because you wished for a little brother Hanna doesn't mean you'll get one." Kagome stated finding her voice.
Pausing in her eating Hanna placed a hand to her mothers stomach before she put her head down to her. Placing her ear to her belly she sat back up.
"I was wrong. He's not made yet but he will be." Hanna said. Suddenly looking worried she looked to both of her parents. "You won't try to hurt him, right?"
"Hanna, what do you mean?" Kagome asked.
"The way you hurt me, before I was born. When you used your powers mama." She said sheepishly.
"You remember that?" Kagome whispered out. Hanna nodded.
"Mama and papa wanted me gone for a long time. Please don't do that with my brother."
Pulling her daughter to her Kagome took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry." She soothed. "You're right. We did. Papa and I we didn't plan you. We were both scared, we weren't even friends and then all of a sudden we were having a baby but it's all because of you that we began to love each other. Our love for you made us love each other."
"Don't fret pup. Your brother is safe. Mama and I regret our actions and cruel words against you. You are most precious to us and I cannot imagine my life with out either of you in it." Taking Hanna from Kagome he coddled her stroking his claws through her silvery hair.
"Can you forgive us Hanna?" Kagome asked tearfully wrapping her arm around both her daughter and mate.
"Yeah." Hanna said softly.
As Hanna fell asleep in her parents arms Kagome stared up at Sesshomaru. Meeting her gaze he wiped away her tears.
"I am never sleeping with you on a blood moon again." She said.
"Fair enough." He couldn't help the smirk that crossed his lips as Kagome settled against him next to their daughter.
