Prologue:
A long time ago our moon was home to a great civilization ruled by Queen Serenity. Everything was peaceful, until the arrival of the evil Queen Beryl! Alongside her was the traitorous Prince Endymion and the wicked Sorcerer Diomedes. "Hahaha! First the Moon shall be ours! Then the universe!" To conquer the moon, The three evil mages unleashed the awesome power of the Negaforce! Although her world was destroyed Queen Serenity's last hope was the power of the Imperial Silver Crystal and the Crescent Moon Wand. "Only this crystal and Wand can combat the power of the Negaforce. Never let our enemies get them or the Universe is doomed! But most of all you must protect our dear Princess Serena and Prince Tranquility. Understand?" "Yes." Frozen in Moonbeam Crystals the Queen sent the Princess and the children of the Moon to the future in the Outer Worlds. But their peace was not to last, for Diomedes hatched a nasty scheme of his own! He attempted to take the magic of the Princess for himself. With the last bit of her powers as a Keyblade wielder, the Queen sent her daughter and the Guardians of Light to a new future on Earth. Their memories lost to them all. The Queen's cat advisors Selene and Artemis, must find the Prince and Princess, so they will at last be safe. And now, our story begins.
Chapter 1: A Moon Star is Born and the first Guardian found:
In the city of Odaiba, Japan inside a nice room in a basement of all places an alarm went off. The owner of the alarm peeked her head out of the blankets and got dressed. It was four thirty in the morning, but she had a schedule for years and she would be irritated if she had to break it. Fourteen year old Demiyah Serena Oliver yawned as she finished her morning work out and was dressed for school in her uniform. Demiyah walked upstairs to see her mother Kimberly Oliver, her older brother Riku Adam Oliver, her digimon partner Veemon, Riku's digimon partner Strabimon, and her dad Tommy Oliver. "Ohayo!" Demiyah yawned/said. Riku nodded, "Morning sis. How did you sleep?" Demiyah replied, "So so. I had that dream again." Riku asked, "About the castle and then the Islands? Yeah me too." Now Riku and Demiyah didn't look that much alike except for the shape of their eyes and their skin tone being the same light tanned color. Riku had their biological grandfather's hair color and their biological mom's eye color, while Demiyah had their mom's hair color and her amber brown eyes were a mystery. Since they knew neither of their parents had brown eyes. Riku and Demiyah's parents were killed when they were just babies. Tommy and Kimberly adopted them after their second birthdays. Riku and Demiyah were heroes like their adoptive parents and birth parents. Riku had been born a full month early. So they technically weren't twins. Riku was supposed to have been part of the triplet set he, Demiyah, and one other child were supposed to be. But, due to being born early Demiyah had a twin rather than a triplet. However, since their fourteenth birthdays, the two kept having vivid dreams that were always the same thing. A castle of light, a castle on the moon of all places, Key shaped swords, a group of Islands, and a group of people they could never remember in the morning.
Tommy flicked through the paper, "Oh, looks like Sailor V rescued more people from a demon trap." Sailor V was something of a mystery in the Oliver household. Demiyah knew she was a registered member of the Magical Girls Union so she got paid. But why didn't anything like that ever happen here? Granted Odaibah was Digidestined territory so the Pro Heroes didn't really operate there so a Villain attack was uber rare. Due to the fact the Digidestined were allies of the Power Rangers. She would love to have some excitement since felt that life was getting repetitive. Riku said, "Come on and finish your breakfast Demi. We have to be to school early today." Demiyah finished her food as Veemon handed her, her school bag, lunch, and uniform jacket.
Riku and Demiyah gave their parents a farewell and went out the door after pulling on their shoes. Demiyah pulled her bicycle over and chased off a group of kids who were picking on a white cat. Demiyah yelled, "Hey stop it! Leave that cat alone! Rotten punks!" Riku pulled his bicycle over and walked up to his sister. Having seen the kids, the pair were sympathetic to the poor cat. Demiyah held the cat in her arms as she said, "Oh your poor thing. Did those nasty punks hurt you kitty?" The cat mewled in an upset manner, as Riku said, "You're okay now kitty. Here, I'll take those bandages off of you." Riku pulled the bandages off of the cat's head to reveal a gold crescent moon. Demiyah asked, "Hey is that a crescent moon?" The cat jumped off both Demiyah and Riku's heads. He landed on top of a car and thought in his head as he stared at the two teens, 'These kids. I sense something.' The two were kind of freaked at the cat's behaivor. "Uh nice kitty." Riku said. Demiyah looked at her watch and said, "Riku we need to go or we'll be late for our morning meeting!" The two jumped back on their bicycles and sped down the street. Not knowing that the white cat was thinking, 'There is something really familiar about those two. Could they truely be the ones?'
During lunch, Demiyah and Riku were sitting with their friends Sora Leonheart, Vanitas Leonheart, Ventus Strife, Roxas Strife, and Olette Reimei. Sora said, "Hey did ya hear, that new store Candy Accesories on Tenth is having some huge grand opening blowout sale after school today. It's right across the street from our favorite hangout. We should check it out! Namine, Ven and Roxas' cousin's birthday is in a few weeks, so we could probably find something for her there pretty cheap." Riku said, "Why not, it beats going straight home after school. We already did most of our homework already. So what's left we can do during Study Hall."
After school the group of seven went down to the store and saw a huge line of people. Demiyah saw a neclace that was silver in the shape of a star with pink gems and a silver crescent moon in the middle(A wayfinder necklace). Riku saw what she was looking at and shook his head. He went up to the sales woman and bought his sister the necklace she was looking at and found that she bought him one with teal colored gems in it. The pair left the store and decided to get Namine something other than jewelry.
Riku and Demiyah went to a store that sold art supplies, and found Namine a professional art kit and a sculpting set. By the time Riku and Demiyah went home the white cat was following them. The cat followed them all the way to their house and slipped in through the doorway. Just before dinner, The cat showed himself to the Olivers. Veemon was staring at the cat. "Okay, who are you? I know you're not a regular cat." Tommy, Kimberly, Riku, Demiyah, and Strabimon were surprised. Even more so when the cat said, "My name is Artemis. And I have been searching for Demiyah and RIku for a very long time." Riku asked confused, "Searching for us?" Artemis replied, "Yes searching for you. You see, over a thousand years ago, the moon was home to a wonderful civilization ruled by the benevolent Queen Serenity. For the most part everything was peaceful until the arrival of the evil Queen Beryl and her consort Prince Endymion. As well as their ally the sorcerer known as Diomedes. The three along with a traitorous mauan Luna sought to take the Moon Kingdom by force and turn it into their vision of perfection. They unleashed the Negaforce, which historically was the remenant of a being called Metallia. The three and their warriors destroyed the entire Silver Millenium save for planet Earth, killed the Princess of the Moon, her soul mate Prince Elias of Earth, her siblings, and their friends and Guardians. To give her children and their friends a second chance, the queen used a powerful jewel called the Imperial Silver Crystal to seal the evil rulers away. Well Diomedes hatched a plan of his own. He became a Keyblade Wielder named Xehanort. He manipulated his friend Eraqus and Eraqus' three apprentices, in an effort to create the X-Blade."
Riku asked, "What's the X-Blade?" Artemis sighed, "The X-Blade acts as a shield for the holy powers of the Moon Princess and in rare case Moon Prince. The Princess' powers are meant to give life and bring forward light. The X-Blade is meant to act as a final line of defense in the event someone tries to use the Princess to start a war. Xehanort, believed that to create the X-Blade you needed either a powerful Light and a powerful Darkness or for the Seven Guardians of Light and the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness to forge the X-Blade. However, he never knew having never bothered to learn the customs of the Kingdom, the X-Blade is only able to forged by completing Seven Trials of Light and Thirteen Trials of Darkness." Demiyah asked, "Meaning?" Artemis replied, "Seven Trials of Light means, Seven Warriors who guard the Light will give the chosen wielder a special test, a Trial to determine if they are indeed worthy. The Trials of Darkness however are different. Each Trial is a moment in the chosen wielders life where Darkness entered their heart. Usually moments where they felt weak emotionally. Xehanort tried to use his magic to destroy the Guardians of Light and the Princess. But Queen Serenity's spirit destroyed Xehanort. She sent the Princess, Prince, and the Guardians save for one, here to Earth in order to be reborn. Now Selene and I, my partner, were sent here by the Queen to find and awaken the Guardians of Light and the Sailor Scouts. Riku is the Guardian of Twilight while Demiyah is Sailor Moon. Before I give your transformation items, I have to stress this, once you use the items for the first time, there is no going back. You both will have to keep fighting until all of Beryl and Endymion's forces are defeated. You won't be able to act like normal teenagers. You will be part time superheroes. Even if the Magical Girls Union can give you back up and will give you Hazard Pay per case, you both will be locked into a destiny battle. Both of you must decide very carefully." Riku and Demiyah talked in hushed tones before saying, "We'll do it." Artemis said, "I'm not sure how your parents will accept this." Kimberly asked, "Can we help in training the Scouts and Guardians as their found?" Artemis replied, "That would actually be helpful. I can only do so much with searching for the kids and tracking enemy activity." Tommy asked, "Any problems with us acting as mentors and providing allibies for the kids when needed?" Artemis said, "You two are being pretty open about all of this. What's the reason for that?" Tommy and Kimberly reveal that they along with their children are retired Power Rangers. All four Oliver family members worked for Hexagon, a Power Rangers run Organization which was called Alpha Operations publicly, in the Japanese branch. Kim as a dentist during the school year at the Academy, and as a field agent outside of the school year. Tommy as a Science teacher during the school year at the Academy and a field agent the rest of the time. Both Riku and Demiyah sharing the job of leading the School Defense Force and field agents outside of school. Artemis smiling, "Well at least you kids are more mature than a girl I saw a few months ago a couple towns over. Her name was Ichigo Momomiya. She was a bit of a spaz. And was freaking about going to the zoo with a guy from her school. Oi." Demiyah and Riku seemed pleased that their new Feline Advisor was relieved that they were mature. One had to be when one learns to become a hero.
Artemis performs a backflip, as two different items appear. One is a gold round locket with a ruby, sapphire, emerald, and yellow topaz gems surrounding a silver crescent moon and a pink spinel gem. The second was a necklece that looked like the necklace his sister got him only the gems were a mix of violet, navy blue, and a dull redish orange. Riku and Demiyah thanked Artemis for giving them their new items. Demiyah taking the locket and Riku taking the necklace. Artemis said, "To activate them Demiyah needs to say, 'Moon Prisim Power' and Riku has to say, 'Twilight Guardian Power' in order to use their new powers." Demiyah said, "Sounds easy enough. Let me go first. Moon Prisim Power!"
A bright light burst from her new locket and wrapped around her body. Inside the light, silver see through ribbons danced around her body before solidfying into a white leotard like bodice with no sleeves, a soft pale pink sailor collar with two silver stripes, more ribbons danced on her arms as she gained a pair of elbow length white gloves with pale pink trim. Balls made of light created a soft silver bow on the front of her uniform with her locket in the middle. More ribbons twirled down her legs to create a pair of pale pink knee high stilletto boots with gold crescent moons on them and silver trim. A wave of light wrapped around her waist to make a pale pink skirt with a silver back bow appear on her waist. A pale pink choker with a silver crescent moon charm appeared on her throat. A pair of silver winged barrettes were on her head as her hair is pulled out of it's braid and into pig tails with flower shaped buns with silver and pale pink gems decorating her once raspberry, now silvery blonde colored hair. Her amber brown eyes turned to an icy blue. Her tanned skin lightened a few shades. Finally she gained silver earrings that had dangling gold crescent moons on them and a silver tiara with a pale pink gemstone on it.
The light died down to reveal Demiyah in her new state. She stared at her reflection and said, "Wow. I didn't realize that my appearance would change." Artemis said, "Of course it would. Luna before she was caught, tried to place all sorts of spells and blocks on the transformation items. Sure the disguise field would be in place, but the changes to appearance would be blocked off along with a sort of fildelius charm that keeps people from finding out who you are by making leaps of logic. The only way someone can know is if you tell them or if you transform in front of them. Also you can teleport and create Cooridoors of Darkness. It's a power you both have. Not all the Guardians can. Very few can to be honest. Since you are both of the moon, you can. Since it's logical those of Lunar Power have an even mix of Light and Darkness in their hearts with no real inclination to either side of the power. Using what attack or spell is helpful for that situation." Riku stood up and said, "Looks like it's my turn. Twilight Guardian Power!"
Violet colored light burst from his necklace and wrapped around his body. Within the light, to Riku it felt like was being bathed in Light and drowned in Darkness all at the same time. A pair of navy blue combat pants were created by waves of navy blue energy. Swirls of violet and navy blue light created a short sleeve wire mesh shirt, a navy blue with violet pipping jacket, and black gloves with navy armor on them. Black steel toed boots that the bottom of his pants were tucked into appeared in a swath of darkness. Riku's silver hair changed to a galaxy blue. While his eyes changeed to navy blue. His necklace ended up changing to a charm dangling on a navy blue choker style necklace. On his side was a pair of throwing knives. A violet headband was around his forhead with a silver symbol that looked like a stylized heart.
The light faded to reveal Riku in his new form. He said in a tone of surprise, "Okay now this is cool!" Artemis said as his collar started beeping, "Problem you two. That store you two were at Candy Accesories, is a Demon Trap. Beryl sent her Generals to gather energy from humans. Why has yet to be discovered, but I assume, that she is trying to revive her three fallen comrades Endymion, Luna, and Diomedes." Artemis taught Demiyah and Riku how to teleport.
At Candy Accessories, Roxas, Olette, Vanitas, Sora, and Ventus were huddled into a corner in fear. When the saleslady turned into a creature tha called itself Morga they were surrounded by controlled customers. However, before Morga could land a fatal blow, two voices said, "Let them go." Morga snarled, "What?!" The voices said, "We said, let them go!" There in the doorway were a pair of heroes. A boy and a girl from the group of fives point of view. Morga demanded, "And who might you two be?" The girl said, "I am the Soldier who's path bathed in Moonlight. The cosmic Guardian of Light and Hope, Sailor Moon, in the name of the Goddess Selene and Kingdom Hearts I shall punish you." The boy said, "I am the protector of the stars. Guarding the Light one world at a time. I am the Guardian of Twilight, Dusk Rider." Morga said, "Sailor Moon, Dusk Rider? Never heard of you. And I'm sure I never will again. Arise my children and serve the great power that is the Negaverse!" More controlled minions rose from the ground. Among them were the twins female Digidestined friends. Sailor Moon's eyes flashed silver as she seemed to make a sweeping motion with her hands, "Moonlight Purification!" Silver light almost like the light that shone from the moon, sprang forward as half of the minions were healed of the mind control. Dusk Rider, while his partner/sister was leading the scared group of five out of the store summoned a sword that looked like a Key. He held it out and called out, "Purge!" White light lef the tip of the sword and covered the remaining half of the controlled minions freeing them. The two joined up and fought Morga like they had been fighting evil for years. (They had but their civilian friends didn't know that it was them.) Sailor Moon removed her tiara and threw it like a frisbee calling out, "Moon Tiara Magic!" Once Morga had been destroyed Ventus asked in a hesitant voice, "Why did you help us?" Sailor Moon said, "We're heroes. Besides no one here deserves to be subjected to that sort of Darkness. That's just plain nasty." Dusk Rider walked up and said, "My sister is right. No one should have to be subjected to that sort of thing. It's sick and wrong." Sora asked confused, "You two are brother and sister?" Sailor Moon replied, "Yes we are. We're warriors from an ancient magical Kingdom reborn to fight a sorceress using demons to collect energy in order to revive her fallen comrades and rule the Universe. My brother and I have to find the remaining Scouts and Guardians that our Advisor can remember anyhow and take down the evil Queen Beryl while finding and protecting the Princess and Prince of the moon." The siblings teleported back to their home. Specifically into Demiyah's bedroom. Undoing their transformations, the twins groaned. Demiyah said, "That was awesome, but we need to train more." Riku laid on his sister's couch and replied, "We really need to find more of the Guardians of Light. That was psychotic." Artemis said, "You both did great. Things will get trickier from here. Thankfully your parents are here to help. I uploaded some new programs onto your computer Demiyah. So we can track Demon traps and locate the other Scouts and Guardians of Light."
The next morning, Riku and Demiyah were in their first period class when Ventus bounced up to their lab table and said, "You two won't believe what happened to me, Vanitas, Sora, Roxas, and Olette after you both left! We were attacked by this monster Morga in that Candy Accessories place last night when these two warriors named Sailor Moon and Dusk Rider saved us!" Before he could continue his story, their teacher Ms. Haruna came in and said, "Alright class, everyone to your seats. We have a lot to do today." Riku and Demiyah shared a quick look before exchanging a secret fist bump.

Sometimes the hardest thing you can do is try and make yourself be someone you not.
Just because you like different things than someone else doesn't mean you can't be friends.
Try getting to know someone before you judge them.
You never know, you may have something in common with a kid in your class or the person you may have your locker next to.
The point is, you never know what being yourself can do. Put your mind and heart in it, And just about anything is possible!
