CHAPTER 1: AN IMPOSSIBLE OFFER?

Ed was working on the roof of the house. 'If I still had alchemy this would have been done in a flash' Ed thought to himself. Even though he lost his alchemy, it was worth it for his younger brother. When Ed finally finished, he went in and greeted Winry and Granny Pinako.

"Hey Ed, did you finish the roof?" Winry asked. "Yeah, took a while though. It was a pain in the ass" Ed replied. Granny Pinako then said, "Looks like you're finally becoming a man!" "Hey what's that supposed to mea-. Edward felt something touch his shoulder and locked behind him and saw black tendrils latching into his body and started pulling him somewhere, the last thing he heard is Winry and granny Pinako yelling his name.

He was in a very familiar white space. 'Oh no. This better not be what I thi-' "Hello Edward Elric!" Truth replied. "God damn it!" Ed yelled. I have summoned you here." "Why the hell am I here Truth?" "Aww. Can't I just see my favorite alchemist?" Truth joked. Ed glared and replied "Nope and in case you've forgotten, I'm not an alchemist anymore." "Do you really think so poorly of my memory? I'm hurt." "Cut the bullshit and tell me why I'm here!"

"Okay okay." Said Truth. "I need a favor from you, Edward Elric." "HA! You need a FAVOR from ME?! That's priceless why would a God want Favor from ME!?". "What if I gave you your alchemy back AND if you complete this so-called *mission* then I will bring 5 people back to life with no cost whatsoever." Yeah, yeah just tell me the damn Favour!" exclaimed Edward. "Impatient are we? Well, I suppose the sooner the better. Said Truth.

"Alright. First of all, let me say that there are different dimensions and I am gonna send you into one of them". "Wait WHAT?!" Edward yelled. "Hush! Let me continue! Yes, there are different dimensions and I control all of them. Well... Except for a couple".
"So which dimension are you sending me at? asked Edward.

"I am sending you into a dimension where humanity is on the brink of extinction. There are less than 5 million people living in the place where I am gonna send you". The reason is that there these strange creatures called 'Titans' they giant humanoids that exist to eat humans but they don't even need to. This sent a shiver down Edward's spine. "No one knows where they came from or much about them, in general, except their description and that they mysteriously appeared a little over 100 years ago." "Also they have some properties like the homunculus like they can regenerate their head in 30seconds - 3 minutes and they measure to 3 to 16 meters long " "So there any way to kill them?" asked Ed. "The only known way to kill them is to slice deep enough in their nape".

"The humans in this dimension have poor technology with little improvements. For some reason, the government is against any advancements in technology, which is strange considering that they should be for humanity.
