AN: Hello readers new and old! PurpleClover here with another new story within the last 3 months of writing on this site and the universe that was voted as the next one for me to plan for: MHA.
Even though I've had this character in mind for a while, I found a spurt of inspiration this week to write out the first chapter to see how it goes for my 3rd story I've done so far...
Welp, that's enough from me for now since I'll probably have another one of these at the bottom to answer some questions that might apply to this at the end.
Sooo, I hope you enjoy the first chapter of "Forging Your Own Path"
As usual, please leave a review about anything you liked, think I should work on (since I'm a fairly new writer so it would help me out a ton;), or just any questions! I will answer some of them at the end of the next chapter:D
Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia or any of its characters...the only things I own are:
1. My characters and
2. my ideas
Chapter 1
Reiza Kyokusei: Origin
Heroes…
Villains…
Knowledge…
Power…
And ideals…
These are the five things that I've learned in my life that are more or less important in this world.
Whether all or only some of them are taken to heart depends on the person due to their own will or the will of others as they can try and twist the perceptions of what they want you to believe through their words and actions.
To cause that person to struggle just because what they think they embody is different or insignificant to their own…
Or at most times, something they completely disagree with and despise.
I can say that I carry each of these concepts on my shoulders from that very fact alone…
As most tend to disagree with what I strive to be in this interesting life of mine…
Just because they find what I believe in to be something far beyond anything I can reach due to pieces of my life I never even chose to have to be a part of it to begin with.
For my entire life, I've always wanted to be a Hero….
To use this quirk of mine to actually grant meaning to whatever I do and to show those who perceive me to be something else that I'm not what they think of me to be…
But at the same time show them that I don't give a damn about what they think I am, because I refuse to allow them to envision the life that I should live for myself….
To live in doubt and to fear who I am just because they think the life I've lived and the people that were in it should be a direct link to whatever I'm going to become in the future.
Not knowing that when they do that…
It makes what I want even more worth it…
Pushing me even harder to make my dreams a reality.
It was late afternoon after school had ended that a young, light-skinned teenaged girl was walking down the sidewalk with her light grey schoolbag on her back.
She was around average height for her age, wearing a black jacket over her school uniform with a matching black beanie that covered most of her silver hair. Her sky blues were closed in annoyance as she reopened them with a small pout/frown on her face.
"That place just keeps getting boring and even more boring each and every time I go…." She said under her breath as she walked in the middle of the sidewalk. "Just the same old people, doing the same old things, and always getting on my last nerve from trying to tick me off. Rinse and repeat."
"I may say a few choice words on occasion, but it's not like I do it on purpose, since it's not my nature to do such things without reason….much to the dissatisfaction of those who are on the receiving end of it no matter the situation."
She had just gotten out of her third straight day in detention after she had caused, or more like was blamed for a fight she didn't even start sometime last week.
The teachers didn't seem to care that she hadn't started it, only caring about the fact that she had finished the fight that left those who assaulted her looking like the victims in the situation.
And due to the reputation forged by the misperceptions about herself, thought it was a very fair thing to do and give said kids a warning, leaving her to take on their time and sentence in the lovely room of some people's nightmares, but a room that she had already been well-acquainted with many times before.
As she was coming close to turn out of the school, she passed an alley way where she heard a small ruckus going about inside that she couldn't help but hear or ignore as she came to a stop and laid her back on the wall behind her, taking out the mirror in her bag to peer inside secretly.
What do we have here today? she thought to herself, seeing a group of kids all ganging up on someone inside.
Not shocking to her at least, the group of three surrounding the person inside happened to be the same bunch that she had fought previously as they were repeat offenders no matter how much she beat them down to get them to stop doing such things.
It was starting to get old and dull…
While also not becoming the best of options to keep going out of her way to stop things like this, since her Aunt decided it was best to work her extra hard whenever she found out about getting detention because of said fights.
She knew that she fought more or less to protect than to just fight just to fight, but again it came at the cost of her getting the reputation as a troublemaker due to such interventions and getting in trouble which left her with extra time on her hands for that woman to use as "training."
And then, there was her friend who would most likely lecture her ear off from getting detention or (at worse) expulsion from getting involved, which was something she never exactly liked due to the upmost bluntness she puts into her words that could rip anyone a new one to show how foolish a certain decision was.
So, she began to walk in the other direction...
To think nothing of it as she tried her best to ignore what was happening in close proximity to her….
"There are other ways you can handle things that doesn't always involve fighting your way through an obstacle, Kusei." She heard her Aunt nag on within her head as she tried to force herself to go faster only to notice that she was going slower and slower until she came to a stop.
"But there are times within the hero world that something like that can't be avoided I guess, as we must lay down our lives to protect those around us, even if we know nothing about them…"
"So, if that's the case and you can't avoid but to intervene with that recklessness of yours, Kyokusei Reiza, then…."
"Then, at least go in reckless with some form of plan in mind, even though you know that's not my style, Aunt Kine. Since…I'm more of a learn as I go type of person." Reiza sighed to herself as she looked down at the sidewalk, rummaging down in her right-side pants pocket for her small black pouch, turning it upside down to pour out what was inside into her hand.
Not to her surprise, what had landed in her hand were only 2 small, semi hard balls coated in a lightweight iron metal. There used to be more than that, but since she had been practicing her quirk at home, they had either been left there or the coat of metal was taken off of them which she learned was easier to do than recoating them the exact way they were received.
It would be the day I don't have enough of these as a backup, just in case things get rough for one reason or another, she thought to herself as she put them back in her pocket and made her way back towards the alley.
But at least that gives me an excuse to visit her today…
Since it would shift her attention on making more of them for me over whatever is going to end up happening when I do this….
I wonder how I should go about this situation this time though to make it at least somewhat memorable for the each of us who are involved.
As she pulled off her beanie and fixed the top of her spiky silver hair, so it wasn't as flat as it had been, she saw a soccer ball roll into view from the alley and smirked slightly to herself in amusement.
That should work. I've been meaning to brush up on my soccer skills sooner rather than later…
There was three people in the alley surrounding someone cowering on the ground, completely defenseless to defend herself as her back had been frozen to the wall behind her.
"Please let me go! I r-really don't have the money for you today!" The girl said in desperation as most of the group snickered at her, all wearing the same smirk on their faces.
"Well that's too bad considering we so graciously gave you an extension yesterday, underclassman!" One of the girls commented as they kicked the wall, just narrowly avoiding the girl's face. "And now you've gone and have to make Akari wait from your ignorance."
The third year in question known as Akari sat her back against the wall behind them with her arms crossed, opening one of her eyes when her name was mentioned and showing her hazel iris radiating with annoyance.
"You're wasting daylight, Mizuru, making you the one who's primarily making me wait." She stated in irritation, seeing the girl in question stiffen at her tone. "Do whatever you want to do, so I can go home already. It has been a long day and I don't want you using up the rest of it."
"Oh come on, Akari! What is with your attitude these last couple of days? You haven't gone soft on us after your week of being suspended, have you?" Mizuru asked only for her to see a strand of her light blue hair sliced off the side, seeing a scorch mark beside her face on the wall.
"Nope, I just could care less for what you're doing at this moment, so go on and finish before I actually try to aim to cost you more than just a few pieces of your hair. Of all your stupid pass times, roughing up underclassmen is probably the one that annoys me the most to be honest with you, considering I never tend to participate in such childish things." She replied casually as she closed her eyes with the group going silent and Mizuru heated up in embarrassment before grumbling in frustration.
She always has to go and ruin my fun…. she thought to herself as she turned her frustration on the girl in front of her.
"Well I guess the one and only, Akari Ichika has spoken, which sadly means this has to come to a quicker end than I originally anticipated." Mizuru stated as she pulled back her fist, watching below as the underclassman braced herself.
It was at that moment a sound echoed throughout the alley, prompting Akari's eyes to open in surprise, seeing an object flying at high speeds and on its way to hit its target.
"Mizuru, get out of the way!" Akari yelled as the girl let out a sigh in response.
"Ugh what is it now, Akari?" Mizuru groaned. "What are you going to say this-"
Before she could finish what she was going to say, the object immediately hit her in the front of her face as it ricocheted off the wall towards Akari as she ducked, watching with a bored expression as it knocked one of the other girls in front of her before making its path towards the opening of the alley.
"Hmmmm, I guess 2 out of the 3 isn't all that bad, though, hitting Tweddle dumb in the face is at least worth some bonus points…." Someone stated in amusement as she caught the ball with one hand before throwing it to the ground. "Let's see if I can land a spare with this next shot."
As soon as the soccer ball was propelled forward, the girl left standing braced herself for the hit, before opening her eyes and seeing Akari standing there in front of her. A hollowed-out sound resounded through the air as she stopped the ball in its tracks with her left hand as a yellow glow radiated from it.
"Great, I thought it was too quiet around here lately, but it seems she's finally off of her punishment from what I heard happened the other day." Akari said under her breath before she looked over her shoulder at the girl behind her.
"You should have better reflexes than that, Shime. Next time you might not be so lucky if I wasn't here to stop it from hitting you in the face just like that other idiot, so try to be more careful." She warned as the girl in front of her nodded swiftly in reply.
"Oh okay, sorry. Thanks, Akari!" Shime said with a sweatdrop at how close that was from hitting her.
"Ohohoho! I guess I miss counted somehow." The silver-haired girl said in surprise as she walked farther into the alley with her arms crossed. looking over at the brunette who wore a flat expression on her face. "I didn't fancy meeting you here, doing something as low as pummeling a poor defenseless underclassman into the ground for no reason at all. I thought you were better than that Akari Ichika."
"Well if it isn't it the undeniably annoying, Reiza Kyokusei, here to make my second day back even worse." Akari stated as she shook her hand with the light around it dissipating. "I don't really want to have to stay home for another week from you running my nerves into the ground, so just state your business and then go bother someone else for once."
Before she could answer, a groan rang out in the alleyway as Mizuru rose up to be on her feet as she covered her nose.
"Tch, what the hell was that?" She stated aloud as she winced under her breath as her nose bled into her hand. "You nearly broke my nose with whatever it is, which you're going to regret in full!"
When she turned herself around, her eyes widened in both shock and slight fear, seeing Reiza standing there as she sent her a wave and wore her signature smirk.
"R-Reiza when did you…" She said trailed off.
"Hi there! It seems you still haven't learned to keep that superiority complex in check. Which is something I thought we fixed last time when you tried to turn that pile of crap on me, even though we're the same age all around." Reiza stated as she stretched out her fingers in front of her, a colder glint located in her eyes that contrasted the upbeat mood she was portraying.
"Do we need to try and fix that again, eh Mizuru Korijoki, Shime Saseru, and Kossori Aiko?" She called out with each of the girls stiffening when she called each of their names. "Because with all this time spent in detention from no fault of my own, I've got enough pent up energy to spare to defeat each and every last one of you if you decide to keep tormenting this girl like you have."
"Tch! As if!" The other girl that had been hit, Kossori Aiko, said in frustration. "You may have gotten us last time, but with Akari here there's no way you could defeat us!"
"Right, Mizuru?" Kossori asked in confidence as Mizuru faltered before feeling her own confidence come back.
"R-Right! With her here, there's no way you would be able to contend with us! You would be begging on the ground before we're done with you, Reiza!" Mizuru shouted confidently, missing the glare coming from the brunette herself sent towards her.
"And what makes you so sure about that? I believe underestimating me and my proficiency in combat was another thing that led to your downfall last time." Reiza replied as she quirked one of her eyebrows. "I didn't even fully engage my quirk to mop the floor with each of you and still won with barely a scratch."
"Yeah well, I think that overconfidence should be taken down a couple notches. Even if you beat the 3 of us, Akari wasn't even there to begin with, which if you didn't know, has the most mastery over her quirk in our grade and is someone you've never been able to beat before!" Mizuru shouted snidely as Kossori and Shime nodded in agreement.
Reiza sighed at that as she craned the back of neck, looking over at Akari who's gaze read of an unreadable emotion, which in most causes wasn't unusual due to knowing there was more to her than she ever let on in any situation that most didn't tend to see.
"Yeah I guess in some respects that's correct. A flashy quirk like hers does tend to get a lot of attention and she does have a pretty good handle on it from experience. And since a tie isn't a win, you could also say I haven't won against her." Reiza stated aloud in contemplation before raising her head to look at those in front of her as she shrugged her arms.
"But that doesn't mean it's impossible for me to do so." She finished before hearing laughter from the 3 three girls in front of her.
"Wait, you're saying that you not only fought but tied with Akari with your confidence intact? Ahahahahah! That's probably the funniest thing I've ever heard today!" Mizuru stated as she laughed, before looking over in surprise and seeing Akari walk over to the wall that held the trapped girl.
"What Is it that you wanted again, Reiza?" Akari asked without turning towards her, pointing over to the underclassman still frozen to the wall. "You wanted this girl to be basically let go, right?"
"Akari what are you doing!?" Mizuru asked in surprise as the rest gave her confused glances with Reiza smiling in satisfaction.
"More or less." She replied amusedly. "I'm not here to try and cause a fuss. I'm just here to make sure she's okay and can go on her merry way without anyone trying to hurt her on the way there. Finally someone who's logical enough to see reason!"
"Mizuru," Akari stated with a sigh after hearing that as she closed her eyes. "Melt your ice so this can be said and done with."
"Tch, but Akari! Why are you listening to this loser!? Someone with your skills would be able to put someone like her in her place easily!" Mizuru stated, before stiffening up when seeing the striking glare coming from the girl as she looked over her shoulder, seeing an aura of yellow developing around the girl's body.
"Do I really have to repeat myself again, Korijoki? This isn't the first time I've told you to finish this stupid liking of yours, today right?" Akari asked coldly as the girl behind her began to sweat bullets, feeling her hazel eyes piercing her soul. The air around her seem to vibrate as she condensed more of the light around them towards her body. "I could have melted it myself, but I gave you a chance so that you could clean up your own damn mess. I'm not in the mood to play anymore of your games today. If you want me to put someone in their place, you're starting to look like a better candidate than that silver-haired annoyance could ever be."
Mizuru's face fell in shock of that, before gritting her teeth and conceding to Akari's order, turning the ice into water and returning it to the water pouch she carried with her.
Satisfied, Akari turned around towards the exit with her hands in her pockets as the underclassman ran right past her out of the alley, not even stopping to give a thanks to Reiza who had just saved her.
The things this girl does, even with all the animosity towards her doesn't even surprise me anymore…. she thought to herself before the girls behind her overcame their shock of what had just happened as that shock turned into surprise by seeing her leave.
"Hey, where are you going Akari?" Shime asked as Kossori shouted in agreement.
"Yeah! Are you just ditching us!?"
"I'm going home. I already told Mizuru that I'm not wasting all of my time for some petty thing like this. It's getting late and I'm getting tired." Akari stated without looking at them as the yellow aura around her faded, hearing Mizuru grumbling in frustration behind her.
"Tch, then what are you going to do that idiot over there? Don't you even care that she attacked us before?" She asked in discontent, hearing the brunette let out a sigh just a little ways in front of Reiza, who stayed quiet to watch this interaction.
"I don't feel any obligation to do anything to this girl, since I wasn't hit by that soccer ball at all. And it was your own damn fault for getting you and Kossori hit earlier, since I did in fact warn you that it was coming. You decided it was a perfect time to complain but then ended up getting hit in the face, so it's your problem. Not mine." Akari replied as she began walking again, opening her eyes to see the amused face of Reiza next to her.
They held eye contact with each other for a split second, before Akari let up her gaze and turned the corner to go down the sidewalk.
"Always has to be the cool one in any situation." Reiza said as she laughed under her breath, turning around to make her leave as well. "It seems the 'quirk prodigy' herself has granted you another chance to go on living life to the fullest, without me forcing that pride of yours into the dirt. So I'd suggest that-"
Before she said anything else, her eyes widened in shock as she leaned to the right, seeing a blue and chilly projectile go right past her.
She immediately felt something stinging incessantly on her left cheek as something crept down her face and dropped down her jaw line.
Her face darkened at that fact when she saw red drops of her own blood falling down her jacket and onto the ground, since she had literally just got it cleaned and fixed when it had been messed up before.
Kossori's and Shime's eyes widened when witnessing what happened, looking and seeing Mizuru's face lowered to the floor. They could see her hand trembling on her water pouch as the air around her started to chill.
"What are you doing!?" They both yelled-whispered, before they both stiffened when she raised her icy eyes to look at them, feeling an even greater chill go down their backs, though, when the girl behind them started to speak again.
"Yes, Mizuru, what are you trying to do at this moment other than set me off? I knew you weren't the brightest when it comes to basically everything, but I never pegged you to do a cowardly move like that one while my back was turned." Reiza stated as her blue eyes radiated with anger, piercing the shadows across her face.
"Tch, you have no right to call me a coward! You're the one who turned her back after trying to play hero, which is quite amusing for someone with your background, Reiza Kyokusei!" Mizuru shouted as she grit her teeth in rage, lunging towards her with both Kossori and Shime jumping to hold her back. "Let go of me, you idiots!"
"Pull yourself together, Mizuru! Do you really want to start another fight with this girl? Especially without Akari here to back us up!?" Shime strained to say as she held her from the right while Kossori held her from her left.
"Like I give a damn whether or not Akari's here! She left with her tail between her legs telling me to fix this, so here I am trying to while you two are getting in my way when you both should be helping me!" Mizuru said as her body heat began dropping with her breath starting to become visible.
"I honestly think they're trying to save you from a fight they probably know you can't win." Reiza said darkly as she brought her thumb up to her cheek and wiped the blood, creating a horizontal line on her face. "Especially starting to spout that load of crap that I've already heard many times before from more intimidating people than a girl with her little water phase shift quirk….standing there feeling like her ego was taken down a couple notches from being too absorbed in what she was doing to see a soccer ball hit her right in her face."
"Ahahahaha! Load crap you say? More like the truth!" Mizuru laughed hysterically to herself as she bowed her head towards the floor. "That's cheap coming from you, but why should I be surprised? You weren't taught anything by your actual parents to keep those delusions out of your head! Since one is basically a deadbeat by abandoning you for the low life of a villain instead of wanting to raise a stupid girl like you while the other died from his mistakes of thinking he had what it took to become a hero!..."
"With these two facts alone, what makes you any different from the people you spawned from!? Because that's all you will be in everyone's eyes from knowing that even if you try your damnedest to prove otherwise!"
Reiza's body visibly stiffened at that, feeling her patience starting to wear thin with the girl in front of her as she tried to keep her composure intact. She turned around with her hands in her pockets to try and walk away from the present danger over their heads, knowing if she didn't, she was going to do something that someone was going to regret...
And it wasn't going to be her….
"Where ya, running off to, Reiza!? Did I hit a nerve!? Well too bad, because I'm just getting started with you, so don't you even try to go anywhere!" Mizuru said as she got out of both Kossori and Shime's grip by her arms heating up out of nowhere to burn their hands as she stomped towards the girl in front of her, stopping her from walking by taking a painful hold on her shoulder.
Reiza held back a wince as she bit down on her lip, feeling the skin on top of her shoulder heat up to a very uncomfortable temperature immediately upon contact, knowing that she had burned right through her jacket and uniform to directly burn her skin.
She knew that the girl's quirk behind her was related to her apparent control over the phases of water, giving her access to creating ice, water, and steam from any water source she had on her.
She must've wet her hand with that water pouch she has without me noticing…or pushing her quirk enough to control the moisture in the air for that to happen, Reiza thought to herself as she ruffled inside of her right side pocket, tightly grabbing hold of the metal balls within her pouch.
"I'm going to give you about 15 seconds to let go of my shoulder and leave me the hell alone, Mizuru Korijoki. If it happens, I will turn a blind eye for what you just did and leave you with your dignity intact." She warned as a part of her focused in on what was in her right hand and feeling a familiar tingling sensation. "Though if you don't and want to get whatever you want to say about me off your chest, then fine. But don't think there won't be consequences because of that dumb decision. I will start counting whenever you start running your mouth again."
"Ahhahaha! How funny, do you really think I'm scared of someone like you?" Mizuru asked as she pulled Reiza into the alley, causing her to stumble as she started to count in her head.
1…2…3…
"You're not even worth looking at, let alone enough to scare me with that filthy mouth of yours! I don't understand what that girl saw in you to not even attempt to put you in your place!" She continued as she threw a right hook towards her as she casually dodged off to the side though never taking her eyes off the girl in front of her.
4…5…6…7...8...
"To think you're even on the same level as her is an insult in itself! Again allowing your delusions of grandeur and overconfidence to get the best of you! You must think that you'll go off and become an actual hero like her after our school year ends in couple weeks, huh!? Well let me tell you that you'll never even come close to her level!" She stated as she threw a flurry of punches with Kossori and Shime having to move out of the way as one punch actually made contact with Reiza's face as she knocked her back against the wall.
Even with that hit that she didn't even attempt to block, she kept her hand in her pocket, feeling something spreading from her palm and onto the top of her knuckles as she continued her count, preparing to deal a finishing blow for her counterattack.
9...10…11…12…13…14….
"What happened to all that confidence you had earlier!? You must be thinking the same right!? That those dreams of yours you spat in class are foolish and impossible!" She stated as she coated her hand in ice and sent another attack as the girl stood there as if she wasn't going to try to even dodge it.
When she thought her attack landed, her eyes immediately widened when she felt a tight grip on her hand, looking down and seeing that Reiza had caught her attack with just her right hand with some type of metal coating it as the cold ice spread gradually upon contact.
"15….times up!" Reiza said in low voice as she looked up at her enraged and seeing the look of shock on the girl's face in front of her, transferring the coat of metal onto her hand covered in ice. In that span of time, she used her quirk to propel Mizuru backwards by creating a powerful force of repulsion to force her into the wall behind her.
Mizuru felt a sharp pain immediately rise from her back but was unable to let out a shout of pain quick enough before Reiza caused her to come towards her with haste, feeling her body stop instantly when a hand crashed right into her face and sent her into the ground.
"ACK!" She coughed out in pain, hearing the gasps of disbelief come from Kossori and Shime, who had been watching from afar.
They had never seen Reiza really use her quirk before, since she usually relied on her fighting prowess in fights like these. Knowing it to be their faults for that fact, since they had always complained to the teachers that she had used it on them, usually taking them at face value and punishing her instead of them on most occasions.
The only thing they knew about her quirk was that it related to the use of magnetic fields or poles in some way, looking and seeing the metal on Mizuru's hand crumble after a couple moments.
Speaking of her, the girl in question was laying there on the ground in a daze as ringing rang out through her head relentlessly and only increased when her body abruptly moved when Reiza grasped onto the collar of her shirt.
"Got anything else to say to me? Or do I need to deck you another time to get that brain of yours working again?" She asked darkly with an intense gaze that sent fear surging into the girl in front of her.
Reiza saw her go completely pale as she promptly passed out, causing her to laugh a little at the sight before dropping her back on the ground.
"I honestly don't care what you think of me. Or what anybody thinks of me for that matter. If you really think I was going to give up just because you told me to, then you already lost before the fight even started." Reiza stated confidently as she clenched right hand and pounded it into her own chest.
"So what if I want to become a hero? Or that it seems unlikely for something like that to happen for someone like me? That just makes me want it 10x's as much. If it seems delusional to you, that's fine, but don't you dare try to make me believe that foolish belief of yours because it will NEVER happen! As my next stop after this dump of a place at the end of the month is to go and do just that by getting into UA using my own skill to rise to the top of the competition!"
"I will become a hero who never stops fighting whether I'm beaten down again and again and keep rising to my feet each and every time to come at you twice as hard! And won't stop until what in front of me is defeated for those who I'm fighting for to be safe, whether they like me to or not!"
At that, she turned and walked out of the alley, hearing Kossori and Shime rush to Mizuru's side when she was enough distance away.
When she turned to the right to go down the sidewalk, she caught the sight of someone's light brown hair, seeing her laying her back against the wall as she passed right in front of her.
Neither of them exchanged any words as Reiza kept moving while she was free of any pain at the moment, feeling the aches from the blows that Mizuru had landed on her starting to rise more from her adrenaline beginning to fall.
She pushed that pain to be in the back of her mind as she instinctively walked in the direction of her friend's house, knowing when she arrived with these injuries that there would most likely be some hell to pay before she switched into worried friend mode to help her wrap and cover them.
Even with that being the case, she did sweatdrop at the thought of going still, feeling herself getting slightly nervous from it all and noticing she was also starting to actually be the one to regret fighting just moments before.
It's better than the alternative, Kyokusei. If you went back home and Aunt Kine saw you in this shape after she gets off from working at her agency, she would probably kill you on sight to get rid of her stress from her day's work…since you'll probably find yourself in detention again at best tomorrow, Reiza coached herself in her head, pushing her stride to be more confident than nervous.
Yes, you may receive an extensive and lengthy lecture with such minutes being forever lost to you in your life, but at least the time on your life isn't diminished in an instant by someone known as the Close Quarters Hero in which she would rip you a new one by forcing you to train for hours on end over the weekend to put your fighting energy elsewhere as punishment…
A nice, innocent, but sometimes blunt girl such as Momo would never do anything to even compare to something like that…
At least I hope that's the case anyway.

AN: Well, I hope you enjoyed this first chapter of mine for this story:D
I have answered a couple general questions below if you're interested or to get a general idea of how this story might go (the thing above this is just to show progress btw...i've done it since my first story and have used it ever since;)
How will the storyline go?
It will follow the MHA storyline with the addition of my new OC characters and their respective backgrounds:)
OCs? How many will be focused on this story?
As of this upload (7/20/20) and in terms of the students, the two OC's that will be focused on having in this story as of right now are Kyokusei Reiza (main) and Akari Ichika (secondary).
In terms of other OCs, there is another one that I have in mind that may be focused on the side that was semi-introduced, but I'm still thinking on it. It will just depend on how the storyline goes which is also a work in progrees.
If any of the other OC's introduced in this chapter ( Mizuru Korijoki, Shime Saseru, and Kossori Aiko) interest you, then I may add said character (just one) depending on the interest.
As of right now though, I'm only focusing on the two students that I've already listed.
Pairings
*shrugs shoulders* I honestly don't know yet. I'm not against it, so it will just depend on how relationships develop within the story.
Current Knowledge of MHA
Haven't read any of the manga yet, so it's primarily coming from the anime since I'm caught up with this current season (Season 4).

From what I've learned so far from my 2nd story, I like just writing at my own pace meaning there probably wont be a schedule. Chapters could come once a week, twice a week, a pile of chapters after being gone a while, or sometimes sporadically depending on what I do (chapter lengths +5000 words)
Have any questions relating to any of the above or in general for the chapter or future chapters?
I do review replies at the end of my chapters, so I usually answer all of the reviews no matter what is said. As I said at the beginning, I enjoy reading them to see how you guys feel about the story and how I can develop my writing to make it better as I go along:)
