To my first story at the Sue Thomas FBI-EYE fandom, i decided to write something cute and probably the start of a new set of storylines.

So, the story bellow is an AU futurefic staring Levi, setting around 7 years aafter the end of the series. Jack and Sue finally got together and thy had a little girl name Amy.

LEVI, THE HEARING DOG

It was Show and Tell Assignment Week at the Stoddert Elementary School and just like the year before, 6-year-old Amy Hudson couldn´t wait to show her friends at school something special for her.

Last year, she had brought her favorite doll, the one her mother had given her on her 4th birthday and with proud, she said that it was her favorite doll ''The FBI Doll'', who protect her other toys, like her mother and father protect the country they live.

This year then, she decided to innovate and bring her 9-year old dog, a Golden Retriever name Levi to be presented to her class. It was odd of course, since the children suppose to bring something of their own, however, when Jack asked her the night before why she wanted to bring Levi, she told him that since the dog belonged to her mother, it made him even more special to show.

When the morning of the presentation came, Amy woke up before her father, to prepare her guest to the big day. She combs Levi´s fur, put his old FBI badge on his collar and even put her dad´s perfume on him, so he could be presentable to the class.

''He looks dashing huh?'' Jack laughs when they finally arrived at school a few hours later. ''Are you ready sweetie?'' he asked.

''Yeah Daddy, take a picture?'' Amy asked.

''Of course,'' Jack nodded and took the picture. ''Alright then, I will be back in two hours to get Levi back, good luck at your presentation, honey!'' he said and with a hug he left to run some errands.

Part of Jack of course wish that he could stay and see his daughter telling Levi story. But since the teacher Miss Smiles said it was unusual for a parent stay at a Show and Tell, he left, knowing his little girl would do a great job.

Amy was the second to show her special thing, after her friend Annie who brought her doll to show to the class. Once she was called, the little girl goes to the front of the class with Levi and watch as every one of the other kids start to whisper to each other.

''attention Class, lets hear Amy'' Miss Smiles said kindly. ''So, Amy, who you brough with you?''

''Its Levi, he´s 9-years old, he was my mom´s hearing dog.''

''Really?'' the teacher smiled. ''How cool!''

''What a hearing dog does?'' her friend Peter asked.

''My mom was deaf, she couldn´t hear, so he used to hear for her, telling her when the phone was ringing, or when someone was calling for her… she told me once that Levi could know I was going to cry, even before I did when I was a baby!'' she said with proud.'' He also used to work on the FBI too with my mom and dad!''

''The FBI?'' her other friend Sally asked.

''Yep and he brought the rings when my mom and dad got married.'' Amy finished and the whole class laughed with the information.

''That's very nice of you bring your dog today, sweetie,'' the teacher smiled. ''You want to talk more about him?''

''Yeah, Levi also knows how to do tricks on sign language, you want to see?'' she asked and the class nodded. ''Alright, Levi, here!'' she started and making the right signs, the dog sit, give paws, roll and even placed himself on his two back paws, for the children's delight.

''Congratulations, Amy and Levi!'' Miss Smiles clap her hands. ''Someone have another question to Amy and Levi?''

''I have,'' said a boy name Will and the teacher nodded for him to speak. ''Does he still help your mom with hearing? How she let you bring him here?''

''He´s retired I think,'' Amy replied. ''Dad said where Mom is now, she can hear everything nicely, so she let Levi with us, so we can take care of him for her.'' Amy smiled.

''Cool,'' Will nodded without understand. ''Can we pat him?''

''Sure!'' Amy agreed and all the kids approach.

The next half an hour, the kids spend patting Levi and playing with him, till Jack came to pick him up. Once seeing her father, Amy rushed to him, jumping on his lap and hug him tight.

''Hey little one, how it goes?'' he asked kissing her. ''Did Levi behave well?''

''Of course, Daddy, he´s a good boy!'' Amy laughs at her father´s silliness.

''That he is,'' Jack agreed. ''Alright, you go back to your class, I promise that Levi and I will be here when you came back!'' Jack smiled at his daughter.

''Ok, love you Daddy… and you too Levi, you are a good boy!'' she kissed his head and rush back into class.

''Love you too, sweetie,'' Jack said. '' Come on Levi, lets go for a walk while we wait.'' The man offered.

Suddenly, as they made the way toward the car, a small yellow butterfly landed on the dog´s nose, before landing on Jack´s hand and disappearing seconds later, making the animal look confused at his human.

''I think someone miss you Levi, but ´m sure she´s proud of her good boy as well.'' Jack smiled sadly as they made way to the car, while waiting for Amy finish her class for the day, so they could go home together.
