Marinette rushed to Master Fu's. The recent akuma had really drained her kwami. Literally. The akuma could suck away your life force. Shudder. Creepy. Instead of draining her, it had drained her kwami. Oh, poor Tikki. She was steadily turning grey. She burst into Master Fu's house.

"Master Fu!" She called urgently. Master Fu was sitting calmly, sipping tea.

"Ah, Marinette. I suspected you would come. Please, sit." She sat quickly sat down and placed Tikki between them. Master Fu's brow creased.

"Oh, dear. This is not good. I can heal her but it may take a year." He said grimly.

"A year?" Her voice cracked. "But, how will we cleanse the akumas? How can we repair the damage? How-" Master Fu held up his hand.

"A year is the best I can do. I must heal her and restore her energy. The best way you can help is go home, and get plenty of rest. Tikki is in good hands.

Marinette whimpered, but didn't object. "Thank you master." She left, sniffling softly.

"Master Fu!" Adrien Agreste rushed through the door. "Is Ladybug alright?" What-"

"Ah Adrien," Master Fu interrupted. "Please, sit. Have some tea." Adrien sat down tensely.

"As for your question, Ladybug is alright." Adrien let out a huge sigh of relief. "But," Adrien tensed up again. "Her kwami is not." Suddenly, a black blur zoomed out of Adrien's pocket, and to Ladybug's kwami. He touched her head.

"This isn't good." He said.

Master Fu nodded sagely. "Yes. Tikki cannot put to work for about a year or so."

"A year?! How will we cleanse the akumas?" He asked.

"I have been thinking..." Master Fu started. Adrien nodded eagerly for him to continue. "There is another miraculous that can shred the akumas." Adrien gasped. "It hasn't been in use for 1047 years. It holds much power. You must choose a person you know that has a good heart and will only use the powers for good."

"You can't be thinking of that miraculous..." Plag said, horrified.

"That is the one Plagg. The Panther Miraculous." Master Fu confirmed. Plagg gaped at him.

"Last time... Last time," Plagg started.

"I know." Master fu said. "You must choose wisely, Adrien." From the Miraculous box, he took a necklace with black chain and paw decoration.

"Is that... An anklet? Or bracelet?" Asked Adrien.

Master Fu shrugged. "Whatever the wearer wants."

Adrien took the bracelet/anklet/whatever. "I know just the person." He ran out of the room.

"H-hey!" Plagg yelped. "Wait for me!" He zoomed out of the room.

Marinette heard a thump on her balcony. She sighed. Chat Noir coming for a visit. "Come in."

He dropped in, his face flushed. "I'm here on urgent business. Marinette-"

Marinette laughed lightly. "Whoa there kitty, slow down. Breathe. Now, start again."

"U-uhmm. Yeah." Chat cleared his throat. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, this is the err, Panther Miraculous. I ask you to wear it and," He slumped. "Help me. for about a year. Temporary partner?"

Marinette pretended to be surprised. "W-why? Isn't Ladybug your partner? Is she alright?"

Chat sighed miserably. "Her kwami is injured and can't be put into action for about a year. I can't stand not seeing her."

Marinette giggled internally. You seeing her right now. She thought. Silly kitty. "U-uh, alright." She confirmed. Then, she stared at the piece of jewelry, confused. "Is that an ankelt, or bracelet, or... Whatever?"

Chat shrugged. "Whatever you'd like."

"Hmmm." Marinette inspected the piece of jewelry. "Alya will definitely notice a bracelet. Guess it's an anklet then!" She took the chain and put it around her ankle. A black blur zoomed around Marinette's head and stopped in front of her.

"Hello, my name is Shadow. I am this miraculous's kwami. In case you're wondering, I'm a panther." Said the black thing. Panther, she corrected herself.

"Cool!" Marinette squealed. "What powers does this miraculous have? This is so cool!" She internally giggled at her antics.

"The panther miraculous holds much power. Your claws can cut through almost everything. You can also blend into the shadows, unseen. Your special power, Blend in, which allows you to be invisible. After the akuma's released, slice through it and you can shred it to bits." Marinette looked a little taken back by all this. "Also, your power in speech is formidable, everything you say will 70% of the time be followed as an order."

"Wow," She said after a long pause. "A lot of power. What do I say to transform? I wanna take this for a practice run."

"Just say 'Fangs Bared' and you will transform." Shadow purred.

"Alright, Shadow, Fangs Bared!" She called. A glow surrounded her and she transformed into a superheroine. She had a black suit and, well, a black everything. Black high boots, black ears and a black tail. Her hair was let loose around her face. instead of 'reflect the sun's glow' kind of hair, her hair was dark, like her suit. Her eyes were still blue, like some panthers.

She stepped back into the shadow of her bed, and was nearly invisible except for her glowing eyes.

"Well," She purred. "Two black cats. seems like we'll have some bad luck." She stepped out of the shadows. Suddenly, a wide smirk dawned on her face. Shadow just told me,-"

"Wait." Chat interrupted. "You can talk to your kwami?!"

"Yeah," She said nonchalantly. "She's like, a voice at the back of my head, you know? Anyways, she said that this was the miraculous of Seduction."

"H-huh?" Chat said. He honestly knew nothing about this.

"Mhmm." She purred. "You had to choose someone rather, ah, seductive for the job. Did you chose me for that purpose~?" She leaned in, her face centimeters from his. He could feel her breathing on his face. He gulped audibly.

"U-uuhm, umm..." He stuttered. She backed away, laughing delightfully. "Lighten up, I'm just teasing! C'mon, I wanna take this for a practice run. Catch me if you can~!" She raced off into the night, swift and agile. Almost invisible.

She's going to be a handful. He raced off to catch her. Damn, she's fast!
