In New York state, there's a town called Port Charles. Residents in this town should learn to always expect the unexpected.
For many years, one woman terrorized the residents of this town. They believe she's dead- but is anyone ever really gone from Port Charles?
But I'm getting ahead of myself.
A car pulls into the driveway of a mansion in Port Charles. The mansion belongs to the family of the man in the car. He is bringing his new wife to see his family- but they have another reason for returning.
The wife sits in the car while her husband goes to ring the doorbell. A woman opens the door.
"Aunt Monica!" exclaims the man.
"Oh, Dillon, I wasn't expecting you! What are you doing here?" asked Monica Quartermaine.
"I wanted to bring my new wife for a visit," said Dillon Quartermaine.
"Wife?! Does your mother know about this?" questioned Monica.
"No. I figured that it'd be easier to break the news to all of you first before telling my mother." replied Dillon.
"Oh, and there's something else that we should all discuss," added Dillon.
"Dillon, don't keep your wife waiting, bring her into the house," said his aunt.
Dillon goes to the car and opens the door for his wife. When Monica sees the woman get out of the car, she nearly passes out.
"Oh, Dillon. How? Why? How could you do this?"
Also in Port Charles, a teenage girl named Josslyn takes her younger sisters, Avery and Donna, to the park.
Josslyn takes in the beautiful day. It seems like the perfect day. Donna is so happy to be on the swings and Avery is mastering the monkey bars.
Josslyn gets distracted when she sees her boyfriend, Cameron, and her best friend, Trina, walking towards them. Joss, Cam, and Trina begin to discuss their upcoming biology midterm exam at Port Charles University. They are all freshmen there.
Josslyn turns back around and sees Donna still on the swings, but Avery is nowhere to be found.
"Avery! Avery! Where are you?!" yells Joss loudly.
Avery runs out from behind a tree in the field. She runs to Joss and hands her an envelope with Joss' name on the front.
"Avery, where did you get this?" asked Josslyn.
"The nice man asked me to give it to you." replied Avery.
"What man?" questioned Joss.
"I'll go look around," said Cam.
Cameron returns to the girls with no answers. He tells Josslyn that the field was empty.
Josslyn opens the envelope and the note reads:
J- I can't write much, but know that I'm alive and okay.
It's not safe for me to see you yet, but I will as soon
as it's safe. Please don't tell anyone about this note.
The note had no name as a signature, but had a drawing of a frog.
"Oh. My. Word." said Josslyn.
Who sent Joss the note? Who is Dillon's new wife that it would make Monica react that way?
