(Saturday)

The next day Caitlin had slept in once again for she was tired from staying out late from her date with Barry. She didn't get home until around midnight the previous day for they had to make it back to Barry's apartment first where her car was parked. Barry had offered her to let her stay in their guest room, but she still declined. As she got up well rested, she was sure she had made the right decision.

When she got out of bed, before she even picked up her phone, she noticed a strange paper on her desk. It was her unstarred Biology assignment that was due on Monday. Caitlin started to panic as she quickly scanned over the assignment before heading to the shower and getting ready for the day.

Once she was fully awake, she grabbed her phone and all her school belongings and headed over to campus. She went straight to the dining hall as it was usually uncrowded on weekends, and she could get breakfast whilst she worked.

As Caitlin sat down to eat, she noticed a text from Barry but ignored it as she had much work to do. Caitlin was a little upset with Barry and herself now anyways. Before she met him, she never would have gotten this distracted by someone.

As she set dining hall closed, she made her way towards the library to finish her assignment. On the way over she had spotted Barry though. Doing her best to keep a low profile and not be seen, she managed to sneak by. As she made her way to the school library, she found a quiet spot. Caitlin wanted to finish this in one day so she could have Sunday to relax. As the library closed, she finally the assignment feeling drained.

As she made her way back to her car, she passed by Maggie on campus, and they waved to one another. Caitlin now eager to get back to her apartment and pass out on her bed she got into her car and headed straight back to her complex.

As she arrived, she saw Alex was eating dinner. Too tired to say, do, or eat anything Caitlin went straight to her room and closed the door. She then just took off her shoes and jeans laid down on her bed. Deciding to look at Barry's message now she grabbed her phone.

Hey Cait! Had a great time last night. Let me know when you are free again if you are down to hang.

Caitlin started to blush and couldn't help but thinking about their date last night. Did she really want more? This seemed so unlike her. As she hesitated for a moment wondering what to say. Wanting to show that she could be more confident now, she replied to his message.

Hey Barry! I am doing well. Had a great time last night too. How is 7ish again? If you would like, I am having a DC marathon if you want to bring the popcorn?

Barry replied about five minutes later.

I'll be there. And I'll bring the popcorn.

Caitlin then got up right away, turned on some music in the background and started tidying up. She didn't feel as if the apartment was a big mess, Caitlin just liked having things clean when guests came over.

As she continued to clean up, Alex walked in the front door. "How was the gym?" asked Caitlin.

"Very good thanks. You having company?" "Yes I am. I invited Barry over to hang out. Which reminds me, can you kind of stay here with me as backup?"

"I can't Cait. I am sorry but I have date night with Maggie, so I just came home to shower."

Caitlin looked disappointed but also had a small sense of relief.

"You kids behave yourself." Said Alex as she raised one eyebrow. "I know, I know. We are just going to hang out and watch a movie."

As Alex cleaned herself up, Caitlin continued to clean up the apartment. When it got to a point where she thought things looked nice enough, she went into her room to get dressed as she saw Barry was supposed to come over in an hour. As Caitlin just threw on a new torn-up pair of jeans and a maroon-colored long-sleeved shirt. She thought that would be the most appropriate for this setting.

While in here room getting ready, Caitlin heard Alex shut to her through the door.

"See you Cait." "Tell Maggie I said hi." "Will do."

As Caitlin heard the door close, she finished getting ready for Barry to come over.

Suddenly she heard a knock on the door and jumped in surprise at his arrival.
