Iesha has fought many battles during her adventures. KingSlayer, The High King's Arrow, Hero of Bal Foyen, Champion of Cold Harbour, Meridia's Champion, Champion of Vivec, Savior of Clockwork City, The Silver Serpent. These are but a few of the Titles the mortals of Tamriel know her as. She doesn't care for titles as much as most nords. But there is one she favors, that she feels describes her cause perfectly, Daedra Hunter, two words that fill her with confidence, from the tip of her boots to the end of her braid. These words drive her to do what she can to stop even the Princes from taking over her home realm. But today what she needs to do makes her sick with rage.
She opens a stone door to ancient Altmer ruins, what they were meant for eludes her, but she wasn't here to ponder. She pulled out her bow and cautiously walked through the ruins. The smells of burning flesh and sulfur assaulted her nose. Skaafin. She hid behind a damaged column of marble and listened carefully. Sure, enough the familiar chattering of the insufferable creatures could be heard, three of them to be sure.
She takes a deep breath and readies herself. Without a second thought, she jumped from behind her hiding spot and managed to kill two with just three arrows. The last one charges after her and swings its weapon. She blocks the little monster's attack and kicks it back. It used its weapon to recover and land on its feet. Iesha grabbed her sword and swung at the beast, which it aptly dodged but was impaled by a giant icicle Iesha summoned.
Iesha sighed as she put her weapon away. "These lesser Daedra can be so predictable." She spoke quietly as she walked to the next room. Sure enough, there, torturing his most devoted followers, was the Prince of deals or an apparition of him, Clavicus Vile.
"Ah, Mortal Flea," He tossed the now dead cultist to the side and approached her, "Glad to see the mutt found you." She grimaced but kept her composure. Out of all the Princes, Clavicus was the one she despises the most.
"What do you want, Vile?" She asked as she placed one hand on her hip and the other on the hilt of her sword. Clear painful memories of his experiments on her body and soul echoed in her head like a bell. She could feel Koz attempting to comfort her from within.
"I want nothing, I merely wish to…. help." She knew he was smiling behind that mask he wore. She raised an eyebrow as a sly grin spread on her face, "Does it have anything to do with Nocturnal tossing you and Mephala aside?" The air grew hot as he let out a growl.
"…. Yes." He forced the word out of himself. "She has betrayed the court but more importantly, she has betrayed me." He let out a sigh and started chuckling "Anyways, I wish to punish her, and you need a way to the Crystal Tower."
The Crystal Tower, A building that existed in all the planes of existence, even in Vile's realm, most likely without gateways and Sapiarchs blocking the way. She needed a clear way and he knows it. If Barbus hadn't approached her in Alinor, she would've attempted to contact Vile or Mephala herself.
He pointed at the arched doorway she came in. "My key is deep in the ruins. You may use it to come to my realm. But I can't open the tower for you, so you'll need to find a way in. Mayhaps a key will work."
He was taunting her with his words, attempting to enrage her. But she will not let him know he was getting under her skin. She crossed her arms, "What do you want in exchange?" His hands flew up to his chest, acting as though her words insulted him. "This won't cost you a thing, Flea," He leans in and whispered in her ear "Nothing you can't afford, anyway." With nothing more to say, he straightens and flicked his wrist, dismissing her.
Iesha walked away but as soon as she was out of the room, she let out a shout as she punched the wall, leaving cracks in it. Oh, how she hates him, his snide attitude, but more importantly, she hated herself for seeking his help. She let out an exasperated sigh and began to make her way deeper into the ruins, hoping she will find this key before the world ends.
