Zuma X Ella Oneshot

Loving My Archenemy

First of all, I won't use Zuma's W accent as it will take too long, and second, I will write all of what's happening in this story in par of what is happening in the real world.

Zuma was out on a vacation from his school, he was entering an old complex of two story shacks. His father was an engineer and was helping with the planning and construction of the improved hotel. Zuma sighed as he remembered the days before the pandemic, back then he could make friends with ease, he was the friendliest person on earth. But now if he was shoved into a room with 10 strangers, he would probably have a mental breakdown in the corner instead of talking to them as his pre-pandemic self would. He was now stuck in a ramshackle shack whose bathrooms always took the opportunity to electric-shock you when you touched a wall, a hose, the bathtub etc. Zuma still couldn't quite understand the usage of a hose inside the house, whom the hotel workers used to water the plants but he also didn't care and was too lazy to ask. His family was assigned "House 20" ; the term "House" suited the shack as much as "Speed" suited a snail. He helped his dad and his uncle take the "travelling supplies" to their respective shacks "18" for his uncle and "20" for his family. Just when he was ready to take his last load of supplies he spotted a Golden Retriever. She had a cellphone in hand and looked like she was taking a selfie probably to upload it to her fans on Instagram. The Golden Retriever was someone that broke hearts whenever she wanted, using Zuma as her tool to get out of all the questions they threw at her. Hence the time where they had to kiss, after that kiss, Zuma entered a period of emotional turmoil that only his books had saved him from doing anything stupid. Another time Ella earned Zuma 3 years of bullying as she accepted being with the class bully, after 1 day she broke up with him, not even giving him a kiss, so after hearing Ella's excuse, the bully charged Zuma for 3 years.

Zuma hid in his shack like lightning before she could see him. Breathing heavily, the chocolate lab placed his backpack on one of the 2 rooms that, unfortunately, had 2 beds and knowing his little brother, he would want to sleep there, while his 2 years old sister would sleep in their parents' room. He opened his backpack, a black and small militarily packed example, the swiss flag at the front, a small portable knife in a secret pocket, a notepad, a pencil, sharpener and eraser were too. From within the clothes he took his mask and a brown hat to cover himself up as they went to eat lunch. While eating he participated little in the conversation and only talked to answer the numerous questions his family asked.

He focused on Ella, she was as beautiful as the last time she saw her, which was effectively 15 days before when their school year was over. Wearing a simple light dress to help her stay fresh in the absolutely hellish temperatures at the coast, which made her look even more beautiful.

Zuma exited the hotel's restaurant and went with his family to the beach, they didn't go to an outside one for the risk of getting sick as this city was the complete opposite of what Zuma's hometown was. In this city people didn't respect the usage of masks, nor the 2 meters distance or 5 feet so the risk of getting COVID was high, his uncle, aunt and cousin were vaccinated, but neither his father, mother, brother, sister and him were. Ella's family followed, Zuma instantly took off to the sea and saw that his dad spoke to Ella's, he pointed towards Zuma and Ella went to meet him. This was by far the worst day in Zuma's life. As Ella neared, Zuma began to ask himself a lot of questions. Why was Ella in a hotel where no one went now? Why did she come here of all places? Is cereal a soup? (The only unanswered question)

Ella finally reached him, the girl was nervous, Zuma could see that. There was an awkward silence until Ella finally asked Zuma why he was here and Zuma answered what he had said before, he then asked Ella the same, and she answered that her father was the manager of the hotel and he had invited her to tag on to this trip.

Zuma and Ella played in the waters of the beach for hours, once, they were thrown by a wave spiraling into the depths of the shallow waters. After being at the beach for quite a long time they were called by their families to go into the hotel, so they gathered their belongings and exited the beach they returned to the hotel, it was almost 6 so Zuma went to his room, while Ella was at the pool. Zuma got his cellphone and started texting to his friends in Discord, the internet wasn't good so he sent the message he was writing not knowing if the message would eventually send overnight, he left the cellphone and went to sleep. He didn't want to repeat that day in a thousand years.

The next day, Zuma woke up with a headache, he checked if the message was sent, it wasn't. Zuma groaned as he went to eat breakfast. His aunt made sandwiches, so they ate them before exiting the shack in the direction of the hotel's restaurant, where his father would meet with Ella's father to discuss the renovation. Ella looked like she wanted to be eaten by the earth from embarrassment when her father suggested that she went with them to the souvenir stalls that were open at the town's beach. Zuma's father accepted the offer so it was decided that they would go to the town at night to buy some things from the famous stalls. It was going to be one of the worst days ever for Zuma, although thinking of it, this whole trip was to be the worst trip Zuma has been part of.

The morning Zuma and Ella passed separated, Zuma's family had gone towards a far place of the beach, while Ella's had gone to the far left. At lunchtime they returned to the hotel, where Zuma finally had some signal to send the message, the conversation that followed went like this:

Zuma: This has to be one of the worst days ever.

Marshall: Why?

Zuma: I'm stuck in a hotel with a friend (They are the PAW Patrol Discord Server I am, I just changed their names to fit this story)

Marshall: Everything will be fine

Zuma: It would've been if it had been a "he" instead of a "she"

Rocky: So you are stuck in a hotel with a girl? 😏

Zuma: She's my archenemy! She's the cause of me getting bullied for 3 years!

Rocky: You can do it, you can get out alive! I believe in you!

Zuma discovered that his phone had lost signal, so he left it and entered the pool, hoping Ella didn't notice him. Ella had been talking to her family when her brother asked her to enter the pool with him, so Ella jumped to the pool. Half an hour passed and neither Zuma nor Ella made a move to play together, they at last made an effort to socialize again. They played tag and blind chicken (IDK how do you call it in English) until it was night, and then they went to the town beach. Ella's dad had given her 20 dollars to buy something. Zuma had been given 20 as well, they arrived about an hour later at the community stalls. Zuma had planned to take this 20 dollars home unless he found something interesting to spend and lose money. Zuma and Ella spent some time just wandering through the stalls with the family. His father played for them to play a gun game, it was a target shooting game, at 10 meters they had to shoot at some targets. Zuma earned 10 dollars and Ella 5 and some bubble gum, which she started eating.

Ella used her 5 dollars to get a bracelet and a badge that said "Ella was here" embroidered in a colorful background of the beach. Zuma spent 10 dollars on a shirt with a military pattern. They continued their wandering, with even one stall calling them a couple and offering a half heart to each other, to which they declined saying that they weren't a couple. Ella sounded disappointed and fairly, Zuma was too, part of him wished that the statement would change from no to yes, but other part said no. They continued wandering through the stalls with Zuma's cousin, who was using her 20 dollars to play games. After being at the beach for about an hour or so. Ella entered a small house where they sold clothes, after 5 minutes she emerged with a dress, it was a red dress in which she looked absolutely enchanting. She asked Zuma and his cousin how she looked. To which both gave the thumbs up and she went to ask the cashier how much for the dress, Zuma entered. Ella had just asked and the cashier said that it costed 40 dollars. To which Ella went and left the dress where she found it. But to hers, and Zuma's surprise too, asifin a daze, Zuma gave Ella his 20 dollars so it added enough for Ella to buy the dress. Zuma woke from his daze as Ella hugged him. He, blushing, returned the hug, reflecting on how he had spent 20 dollars on a lost cause.

When they separated from the hug, both blushing, Ella went to pay for the dress while leaving Zuma and his cousin to talk. Zuma was asking himself what was he thinking of when he handed the 20 dollars to Ella. His cousin just laughed at Zuma's face of confusion. "That's love my ignorant cousin" he said in between laughs as Zuma blushed again. "It seems that you have a crush on her!"

Zuma just couldn't believe what was happening, did he just experience something new? No, that couldn't be possible. Oh, Zuma was now confused like hell. Ella came out with her usual clothes and the dress in a bag. Zuma then went to the car with his cousin and Ella, where he waited for his uncle (Zuma's cousin was the daughter of another relative, not this uncle or aunt). His uncle and aunt appeared with a pizza, one pepperoni and another one with pineapple, one of Zuma's favorite flavors of pizza. He had never quite understood the need to put pineapple on pizza, he ate the pineapple when he had to, just a different way. He would pick all the pineapples off of the pizza and eat only cheese, after he had finished eating the 2-3 slices of pizza (Depending on the size of the slice) he would eat the pineapple as a "dessert".

When they arrived at the hotel they entered Zuma's uncle's shack, where they ate the pizza. After eating the pizza Zuma's uncle took out some cards, they played for some hours until 2 a.m. in which time it was demonstrated that Ella was the best at the game of luck, at the end it was a one sided win with Ella making 21 points (Blackjack) in 7 cards. To which Zuma had to give 52 of his 60 won pieces, it was a good sign that they weren't playing for money as Ella would have easily won from 70 cents to 70 dollars. They then played Risk and Zuma had his secret mission to conquer Asia and North America. When the game of Risk had finished (Which was the only game Zuma won) they decided to go to sleep. Zuma couldn't sleep, so he instead listened to some music he had downloaded in his phone until he fell asleep, a tactic he had learned recently as he had a massive sleeping problem and sometimes he slept just 3 or 5 hours and couldn't sleep more.

If you ask then Zuma was hearing national anthems of the world and some patriotic music, his favorites were "Heart of Oak" and "Farewell of Slavianka"

The next day Zuma was eager to find Ella, they ate breakfast together and went to the beach together they returned from the beach together, they returned from the beach and entered the pool together, it was now obvious that some sort of chemistry was going on between the 2 of them. As it was their last full day at the beach they departed towards it one last time, where the sun was setting, both watched it, but neither wanted to make the first move. So they just stayed there and watched the sun set.

The next day Zuma woke up early and helped pack the bags for the return trip. He was the last one to get to the car, but when he was mid trip, the car wasn't in view yet, obscured by a building when Ella appeared. Zuma tried to warn her as she was going too fast. Ella tackled Zuma and kissed him, Zuma blushed as Ella retreated her lips from his. "This is now official, you, me, Top Ten down your street, this Saturday at 7 p.m." she said before letting go of the hug and raced to her car. Zuma stood up and started walking towards the car "Hmmm, this is a new trick she's planning, I wonder who will she °°Cheat°° on me with" he said to himself as he entered the car.

First of all, this happened with 25% of similarity to the real life event, the romance and date didn't happen, neither did the dress scene. The only things that happened were: the Discord Conversation and me finding myself in the same hotel as my archenemy. Second, she didn't ask me out, and if she would then I would've rejected her just as I promised 7-10 and Uploader, I will never ever forget for how much time I have been bullied because of her little relationship with the school's bully. You may be saying that I have a stone heart, but I've learned to control or nullify those emotions if I need to, and as much as I want to hide them from the rest they sometimes appear. That's all, see you in the next chapter of "A Love Story" next friday! (I do have feelings but ever so slight feelings sometimes that I don't need them, so I would delay my final no with a "I'm too young for this" even if I'm not)
