A/N: Hi, I'm back! Also, special thanks to Daniel B.S for the words that he had given me and for his suggestions to me.

Also, Daniel B.S, if you're reading this, then I thank you again for the suggestions and words you've given me! And I must tell you that Ranma already has his starter: his Torchic, Blaze.

Now, I must tell you, Daniel B.S, and everyone else reading this. Ranma will only capture the rest of the starters (Treecko, and Mudkip) at some point in time after his journey through Hoenn.

This is because I simply wish for Ranma to have Pokémon other than the starters as I feel it wouldn't be right as I want to see Ranma and Blaze grow and bond together as they travel and train all around Hoenn.

And, as I said before, I do plan on Ranma getting the rest of the starter Pokémon of Hoenn because who wouldn't want to have all starters?

Also, Ranma may grow a liking and possibly a preference for Fighting-Type Pokémon as it would fit him, and no he will not be a pure Fighting-Type specialist as I do plan for him to have multiple types of Pokémon and have planned a lot of Pokémon for him to capture. Stay tuned for more at end of the chapter.

Previously, on PKMN Trainer Ranma...

Ranma and Ryoga were conversing with the great-granddaughter of the Amazon Village matriarch, Shampoo, as they were enjoying themselves.

Mousse (unfortunately) shows up and in an attempt to hug Shampoo instead hugged Ryoga much to the lost boy's dismay with an exasperated Shampoo and Ye as Ranma and Blaze laugh upon the scene.

Afterward, Ranma issues a challenge between Blaze and Dá with Ryoga and Azure backing them up and Shampoo and Ye, reluctantly teaming up with Mousse and Dá.

After Ranma and Blaze won, Ryoga, Shampoo, and the rest of the people watching congratulate them, not noticing Mousse returning Dá, and quietly walk away.

And now we continue...

Chapter 10: Moongazing

[Joketsuzoku/Amazon Village]

Ranma and Ryoga won their battle with Blaze and Azure against Ye and Dá. The sun began to set by the time their battle finished. Cologne welcomed Ranma and the group to the village, impressed with Ranma and Blaze's performance along with Ryoga and Azure and so offered them to stay at their home which happens to also be their restaurant.

The group kindly took the elder's offer and so they were led to their home along with Genma to stay. Mr. Lǐ and his family went to stay in one of the village's local inns.

They arrived at their destination as they stood in front of the Chinese-styled restaurant known as the Nekohanten/Cat Cafe. Shampoo and Cologne entered their home as the rest of the gang followed behind their hosts.

The group is soon brought into a spacious and fancy-looking guest room with two black drawers, a black table, a few empty vases with various floral patterns, and a few folded futons are seen laid out in one corner of the room, and a clear glass window showing the sunset. Ranma and Ryoga stare in awe of the room. Blaze and Azure's reacted much the same. Genma liked what he was seeing and was also thinking of "taking a few things" during their stay here.

"Well, here we are. This is where you'll be staying. Your futons are in the corner.", Cologne said.

"We'll be making dinner. If you need anything Shampoo and I will be preparing dinner, so make yourselves at home. Also," Cologne turns narrowing her eyes at Genma.

"Don't even think about stealing anything, clear?", Cologne said. Genma gulped while the rest nodded. The elder left with Shampoo behind as they went to prepare dinner. Genma simply sat at the corner as he waited for dinner to be ready, all the while grumbling something about an old troll.

The martial artists drop their bags on the floor as the boys' small companions came up in front of the guest room window. The fire chick and mudfish both sat down looking through the window admiring the sunset.

The boys saw this and smiled. They came up behind their partners and sat down as they joined them. They just sat down, admiring the view through the clear glass window as they watch the sun slowly descend as the night sky slowly appears. By the time they finished, it had become night as they heard Shampoo call them, that dinner was ready.

Upon hearing that, the three martial artists, blue mudfish and orange chick immediately went to the living room for dinner. Their mouths drooled at the thought of food. They enter the dining room and took their seats on the big table. Ranma sat on one side between Genma and Shampoo. On the opposite side was Ryoga who sat next to Shampoo's father with his wife beside him. Cologne sat on one end of the table. They all gave their thanks before happily digging in.

Blaze, Azure, and Ye sat on the floor eating their own food given to them.

Ranma chatted with Ryoga and Shampoo about martial arts, techniques, and Shampoo started talking about her village and how she planned to one day be her village's next matriarch when she grows up old enough. The boys were impressed by her goal and gave her proud smiles.

"Well I say that's pretty cool ain't that right Ryoga?", Ranma said with a grin.

"Y-yeah.. that's pretty cool too.", Ryoga added, still a little flustered. Ranma saw this and formed a teasing smirk.

"Well well having trouble talking at girls, Lost Boy?", Ranma said, teasingly.

"Sh-shut up, Ranma!", Ryoga said, now very flustered. 'Damn, Ranma...', Ryoga thought, glaring at Ranma.

"Hahaha~! Couldn't resist!", Ranma replied, laughing much to his rival's annoyance. Shampoo just giggled at them finding it funny, her mother, Soap, giggling as well while her father, Lotion, eyed the boys sternly to make sure they didn't do anything funny around her daughter. The elder matriarch gave an amused chuckle watching the boys.

Meanwhile, Blaze, Azure, and Ye were having their own chat this time about their partners. Ye started warming up to them after their battle from before and has stopped being cold towards, seeing as the outsiders meant no harm to her and Shampoo.

[PokéSpeech]

"*Giggling* you're kidding, no way that can't be, right?"], Ye said, trying to hold back her laughter.

"[Yeah, I've basically been Ryo's directional guide or whatever. Heck, one time we ended up on a beach and I accidentally took my eyes off him for one minute I think, I'm not very good at counting, he somehow ended up on top of a floating thing at the ocean called a Bo-u-oy? Whatever that is and I managed to swim up to him and bring him back to land]", Azure said remembering as he continues.

"[But now, I laugh every time I remember it!]", Azure laughs as Blaze and Ye joined in laughing. They continued happily eating their food while talking.

"[Hahaha! Man! Just how does somebody get lost and end up in some floaty thing on the ocean!]", Blaze asked rhetorically, laughing while Ye simply giggled. The blue mudfish just lowers his head and gave a sad sigh.

"[That's cause it's a curse. Ryo's parents have it too. It's always been hard for him and he told me he's been made fun of for it]", Azure said, sadly. Blaze and Ye now felt sorry for Ryoga, the former feeling a little bad for laughing about him.

"[But, I'm not giving up on Ryoga, cause whenever he's lost, I'll help him and guide him! And maybe someday we might find a way to fix his directional curse!], Azure said as he was determined to help his friend out no matter what. Blaze and Ye smiled proudly for their friend as they too would've done the same for their friends too.

Blaze would help Ranma out with his/her gender change curse and Ye would help her friend Shampoo train and reach her goal to be the future leader of the village.

Everyone ate the rest of their food. As they finished they gave their thanks before heading for their respective rooms to rest for the night. The three martial artists laid their futons in the guest room as they began tucking themselves in. Azure slept beside Ryoga, Blaze took his place beside Ranma, and Genma immediately slept by himself.

However, a certain fire chick was having difficulty sleeping.

Night

Next to Ranma, Blaze struggled to get any sleep. Being unable to sleep at the moment, Blaze got up to try to do something to pass the time a bit. He decided to go outside and get some fresh air hoping it'll help him sleep better.

Just as he got outside, he spotted Azure sitting outside looking up at the night sky.

"[Mudface?]", Blaze said, surprised and confused seeing the mudfish awake at this time of night. He was wondering why he was out here before

"[Yeah?]", Azure replied, nonchalantly as he continues looking up.

"[What are ya doing this late at nighttime?]", Blaze asked, curiously.

"[Just watching the moon.]", Azure answered as he looks up at the moon seemingly in a trance.

"[Mind if I joined ya?]", Blaze asked, walking up and taking his spot next to him as they both gaze at the moon together.

"[Sure.]", Azure replied not taking his eyes off as they continue to admire the moon above. "[Doesn't it look beautiful?]", Azure ask

"[Yeah, I guess it is.]", Blaze replied. As they continue moon gazing, a question forms in Blaze's head as he asks Azure.

"[Say, Azure. Do ya sometimes ever wonder who your mom or dad is and where they are?], Blaze asked awaiting his answer. After a moment of silence, gazing at the moon still, Azure spoke.

"[Yeah, sometimes.]", Azure answered. "[Why do you ask?]"

"[Just askin' cause I'm just curious ya know?"], Blaze said. Azure turns to Blaze, looking him over to find any sort of deceit. However, seeing none he sighs.

"[Okay, I believe you Flamebrain.]", Azure said. He decides to tell him a little bit. "[You know, I sometimes wish I knew them as I sometimes they were there. I don't know why I'm here or if I even had a mama or papa at all? Sure there's Ryo, my best and first friend, but sometimes I just wish I had a mama, papa, or even better both.]", Azure said. He had always wished to have parents.

Blaze looked at the blue mudfish with sympathy as he can understand what he was thinking as he too sometimes wished to have parents of his own. But at least he still has his best friend, Ranma, and he had that Ryoga guy with him. They would always depend on them as they were there for them.

After some time the two went back inside as they slept peacefully with their human partners. However, unbeknownst to them, a certain green gecko had been watching them the whole time, spying on them, and listening to their conversation. She gave them a gentle smile as they went to sleep before heading back to sleep as well.

Their bonds and friendships will help them go further.

A/N: Sorry for the late update and another sorry for this chapter being shorter than the last one as I've been having a lot of stuff on my mind as I try to get in as much work as possible.

And so I'll say it here as I won't try to make any promises I can't keep. I'll try to get as many finished chapters and other works out as much I can as I may take a long time in writing a chapter and I have other fanfics to work on other than this one.
