A/N: Hello! I know I should focus on one story at a time but I was inspired to create this. This inspired story gives credit to Mr. Hardcor3's fanfic for the idea of Luz being Lilith's daughter. Seriously, go check out that story because it's amazing! I highly recommend it!
That will be the only thing that's the same. Everything else will be quite different.
There may be a few things made up as much hasn't been revealed yet.
Luz sat on the windowsill of her room as she thought back on what she had discovered during class at school. They had been using a potion that could reveal the names of relatives in one's family and they were to choose one to do an essay on. Luz had been excited about this as she pretty much knew a lot about her relatives from what her mother had told her. However, when Luz used the potion, she had seen Lilith's name directly next to her mother's name which indicated that they were married.
'But how could they be married when mami has never brought up anything about The Boiling Isles?' She thought as a sigh escaped her.
Her friends had been confused when Luz was quiet while they ate in the cafeteria. None of them, not even Amity could get her to talk about what was wrong. Once school was over, she had rushed back home and shut herself in her room. Eda and King couldn't get her to come out no matter what they did.
A knock on her bedroom door brought her out of her thoughts and made her frown.
"Go away Eda.." She said, a bit harshly.
"It's actually me" A voice replied which she recognized as Lilith's and it caused her to tense up "Edalyn was worried that you would miss dinner so I brought some up for you"
Luz wasn't sure what to do. Should she let her come in? Should she send her away? Ask her about being married to her mother?
"May I come in?"
She decided to take this one step at a time and replied with "Yes"
The door opened up and Lilith walked in with a plate on a tray filled with food. She walked over as Luz got off the windowsill and handed over the tray.
"Err...thanks"
Lilith smiled "You're quite welcome" She then frowned when she noticed that Luz still had the glum expression on her face "Something wrong? Eda and King wouldn't tell me why you shut yourself in your room but I just assumed it was so you could study"
"Something happened at school..." Luz replied and sat down on the floor with the food. She began to eat before she paused and looked back up at Lilith "Do you mind leaving? I'm not in the mood to talk"
"Uh...sure...yeah" Lilith replied before walking back towards the door and walking out. The door opened with a click and Luz continued eating.
'What should I do? She nearly killed me...but maybe she doesn't know that I'm her daughter' She laid down against a pillow as she went over her thoughts 'Should I just go ahead and reveal the truth to her? But then she might feel ashamed about the fact that I'm the worst witch ever...'
She rolled over onto her side and curled up "What do I do?" Another sigh escaped her "Maybe I should talk with her more and learn as much as I can before I tell her the truth...though I am still angry that she tried to kill me...but everyone does deserve a second chance to prove themselves"
Luz was unaware, however, that Lilith was still right outside her room and heard everything she said to herself 'What is it that she has to tell me?' Lilith thought as she began to walk away.
