NOTE:
Hiro Mashima owns Fairy Tail.
Yūsei Matsui owns Assassination Classroom.
It's been a week since the battle of Tartaros left the mages with many scars on their own. Different kinds of scars. Tartaros is a very dangerous dark guild consisting of demons. These demons gave our Fairy Tail mages deep wounds that will forever bury in their mind and heart.
The city of Magnolia and the guild itself is nothing but piles of rubble. That's not all. Other cities across the continent were similarly ravaged by Faces. Fortunately, the citizens of Magnolia and other towns are evacuated in a safe place, avoiding the risks of hurting the non-mages.
Lucy looked around the giant crater that once Fairy Tail guild stood proudly. She noticed all Fairy Tail members are also there, staring at the vast crater. The blonde girl could tell that they are having a hard time facing the destroyed guild. Lucy blinked her eyes as she remembered the master called them here.
"What do you think this is all about?" Wendy asked no one. "Maybe Master called us to start to rebuild the guild again," Cana suggested as the dark blue-haired girl nodded.
"The townspeople had just gone through all the trouble of rebuilding it for us..." Jet exclaimed, looking around. "Geez, we gotta start from the scratch..." Warren added, Droy agreed by eating the leg of the chicken.
"I am sorry. I'm beyond ashamed." Elfman apologized in guilt, closing his eyes. Lisanna hugged her older brother, comforting him.
"It's not your fault, Elf nii-chan!" Lisanna comforted, patting his big right arm. "It's no one's fault." Mirajane patted her younger brother. Elfman just looked down, crossing his arms, still guilty by his actions.
"Lu-chan!" Lucy looked around and saw her bookworm best friend calling her. She slightly smiled and jogged towards her. "Hello, Levy-chan." Lucy greeted her, Levy hugged her, confusing the blonde.
"What's with the hug Levy-chan?" Lucy asked, laughing slightly. Levy broke the hug and smiled at her best friend cheekily. "Nothing much! I thought you might need it! Well, I know we need it!" Levy answered. Lucy blinked her eyes before smiling at her.
"Yeah, I know... we need it," Lucy mumbled; Levy looked at the blonde, tilting her head. Gajeel patted their head. "Don't think about it too much," Gajeel said, as if it was nothing but Lucy can tell he is hurting as well. Everyone may not show it, but Lucy knew each one of them is hurting.
As the whole guild started to murmur each other, Lucy stared into nothingness, and she felt nothing. They waited for their master. Soon enough, Master Makarov arrived and used his Titan magic to enlarge himself.
Master just stared at each of his children and sighed deeply. "I guess an age has to come to an end." He mumbled to himself. "Master, are we not going to rebuild the guild?" Mirajane asked, tilting her head, her white silvery hair flowing down her side.
"What the hell is this all about, old man?" Laxus asked his grandfather. Thunder God Tribe stood beside him, making sure he won't collapse. For a time, the guild master was quiet as he took a breath.
"So much has happened now," he stated, "Too much for you to remain tied to any one place. You all need to spread your wings and find your ways." Everyone just exchanged looks, having no idea what he was talking about.
"Is there a point to this?" Erza asked confusedly.
There was a period of silence as if Makarov had to reach down and pull the words out actively. "As of now, it's time for me to dissolve Fairy Tail officially."
Nobody said anything, as they all just stared at the master, as the words loomed over them. It seemed like it would be a joke, but everyone knew that Master Makarov would never, ever joke about such a thing. The silence seemed to last for an eternity until quite impossibly the most unexpected person spoke up.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Gajeel roared, leaping up to where the master was but pulled by the two bookworms of the guild, "You can't disband the guild!"
Slowly, everyone gasped, tears forming between their eyes. As if realizing what the master just told them.
"I just did." Makarov said plainly, "It is my right as guild master."
"Wha- HOW COULD YOU!" Gray shouted this time.
"What the hell are we supposed to do?" Gajeel shouted.
"And where the hell is the Flame idiot?! He should be the one disagreeing here!" Gray shouted.
"Gray-sama..." Juvia murmured, placing a hand at his shoulder while standing beside her beloved Gray.
"Natsu..." Lucy whispered slowly, tears forming in her eyes.
"I'm not sure," Makarov answered monotonously, "But I have no doubt you will find your way." Before anyone could say anything, he turned his back as he walks away.
"Master! Don't walk away from us!" Erza shouted at him, "You can't..."
"DO AS YOU ARE TOLD!" Makarov bellowed, "My decision is final!" That silenced even Gajeel; they just stared as Makarov just slowly walked away, leaving everyone alone.
Eventually, everyone cried as they dispersed to figure out what they would do except for the certain blonde girl. She just stood in her place, clenching her right hand. Underneath is a crumbled paper.
"Lu-chan..." Her best friend called. Lucy did nothing.
"Lucy-nee..." Her adopted little sister murmured. Of course, Lucy did nothing. She could hear them crying. She looked up and caressed their face.
"What are we gonna do...?" Levy asked, hiccuping, tears streaming down her face. Lucy smiled sadly, wiping her best friend's tears. Lucy felt a small figure hugged her; she didn't look down to see who it was because she already knew it was her adopted little sister.
"Why not follow Gajeel, Levy-chan?" Lucy suggested, "He is waiting for you. Go on, Levy-chan." Levy kept crying, hugging her best friend, apologizing. Lucy slightly smiled, patting her shoulder.
"Go Levy-chan, don't forget me aye?" Lucy slightly laughed; Levy nodded her head furiously, still crying. Lucy looked sad, but she understood her. Levy is having a hard time right now. Gajeel is the only one who can help Levy, aside from her.
Lucy looked back, "Can you take care of her for me, Gajeel?" Lucy asked the iron dragon slayer. Gajeel grunted; he doesn't need to be reminded. He'd plan to do it anyway. Lucy hid a smile; she knew Gajeel will take care of her best friend.
Gajeel patted her head, "Take care of Squirt and yourself, Bunny girl." He carried the now tired bookworm, looked back, waving his free hand in farewell.
"Carla, take care of yourself." Panther Lily said, the white exceed nodded. Panther Lily then flew towards Gajeel. They started to walk away from them.
"Lucy-nee... What are we gonna do?" Lucy patted her long blue hair.
"I don't know. Do you have a plan in mind?" Lucy asked; Wendy looked up, wiping her tears.
"I-I plan to train. After what happened, I want to be stronger, to have more use in the future." Lucy shook her head, patting her.
"Don't doubt yourself, Wendy." Lucy sighed, "Train well, alright? I won't bother you in your training." Lucy smiled; Wendy stared at her, her lips quivering.
"B-But I want you to join me in my training!" Wendy protested, her lips quivering in fear; Lucy shook her head. "I can't do that Wendy, this is your personal training. Besides, Carla is with you in every step of your training, right?" Lucy hugged the small yet strong wind dragon slayer.
"Don't be sad, I know it might take time to heal, but I assure you it will be worth it. This battle taught not only you but all of us that everything is not perfect. Sometimes, we have to slowly move on our own.." Lucy comforted, Wendy hugged back, not wanting to let go. Carla joined in the hug. The three of them continued hugging each other, memorizing their warmth.
Lucy broke the hug, "Now, train harder. Be strong. Make us proud, alright?" Lucy said. Wendy nodded, looking at her with confidence.
"I will, Lucy-nee! I will make you proud! I will be stronger!" Wendy exclaimed with determination; Carla humphed but agreed with her.
Lucy smiled sadly, "Take care of Wendy for me, Carla." Carla humphed again, crossing her arms. "You don't have to remind me, Lucy!"
"But please take care of yourself too..." Carla added, slightly blushing. Wendy and Lucy laughed at her before the two girls waved at the blonde and left the place.
As soon as Lucy knew, no one from Fairy Tail is around the place. Lucy broke down, she fell down. She screamed, crying hard.
"STUPID NATSU!" She screamed loudly. Unconsciously opened her right hand, letting go of the crumbled paper at the ground.
It was written, I'm going off on a journey to train with Happy. I'll be back after a year. Give everyone else the, heads up okay? See ya on the flip side, Luce! - Natsu and Happy
Somewhere outside the Earthland.
"... Karma-kun, don't be impatient, and we'll all kill him together." A particular blue-haired guy said at the red-haired guy. The red-haired guy is sitting at a tree branch just on the dangerous cliff.
"If you target Koro-sensei by yourself... And no matter what tricks you use, you alone can't kill him." The blue-haired guy added, "He's different from normal teachers, after all." He continued.
"Teacher, huh..." The red-haired guy whispered to himself.
Karma smirked, "... No way Nagisa-kun. I want to kill him. His surviving by some fluke would piss me of the most." Nagisa kept quiet, carefully analyzing the redhead teen boy.
"Karma-kun. Today, sensei provided you with lots of improvement." The two students looked back, shocked at the voice of their sensei.
"You can still kill me, you know. I can polish you to shine brighter." The strange yellow octopus killing machine said, green stripes formed in his head, mocking the red-haired.
"I would like to confirm it. But," Karma started at the strange yellow octopus killing machine. "Koro-sensei. You're a teacher, right?"
"?" Koro-sensei looked at him, "Yes."
"So, would a teacher put his life on to save his students?" Karma asked.
"Of course. A teacher's a teacher. After all." Koro-sensei answered without hesitation. His answer makes Karma's smirk wider.
"I see. That's good." Pulling out a handgun with lots of anti sensei bb pellets. "In that case, I can definitely," He kept smirking, pushing himself down the cliff.
"Kill you." He wore his crazed look on his face. Nagisa looked down, shocked by his redhead classmate's action, his heart beating fast.
"Karma-kun!" He shouted.
Karma smirking, watching the reaction of his classmate and their killing machine teacher. A certain scene played in his mind, remembering how his former teacher sided with an A-Class student instead of siding him. Remembering how hi former teacher was betraying him. While having flashback in his mind, a yellow flash went past his side, creating a spiral behind him.
As he fell down, his back met with a strange yellow spider web, sticking himself.
"Eugh...!"
"Karma-kun, the plan you put in this assassination was amazing," Koro-sensei commented behind the spider web made of his yellow tentacles to save the redhead student.
"If I save you in the speed of sound, your body wouldn't withstand it." He stood up, "However, if I took time to save you, you'll shoot me in the interim."
"So... Sensei used a bit of stickiness." Karma looked disgusted, 'Damn him! His tentacles can do anything!'
"Because of this, you can't shoot me. Nurufufufufufu..!" Karma tried to free himself from the sticky tentacles. "Oh, by the way..." Karma froze, looked at Koro-sensei.
"To me, the option to abandon you doesn't exist." He wore his usual smile, "Have faith in me, and I won't hesitate to save you." In a flash, they're back at the cliff.
Karma sat down in the grass, his eyes staring at the bright sky, "Ha..."
"Karma-kun, you acted so recklessly without batting an eye," Nagisa commented, sweats already formed in his forehead, still looking down the cliff.
"Not really..." Nagisa looked up, staring at his classmate. "Having thought that is the only way to kill him, but. Maybe... I'll rework my plan quietly."
"What's this..? Have you already ran out of ideas?" They both looked back, Koro-sensei's every tentacle holding lots of maintenance tools.
"I still have lots of maintenance tools for you..." Nagisa and Karma sweatdropped at him; Karma glared, stood up.
"I'm going to kill you. Tomorrow. That is." Karma announced, his thumb sliding it in his neck from left to right, doing an I'll-kill-you action. Koro-sensei kept smiling, noticing the red head's aura changed.
"Now, come on, Nagisa-kun. Let's buy something to eat on our way back home." Karma happily said, tossing a coin purse. Nagisa looked at him, confused at the coin purse he's tossing.
"Gah..! That's my coin purse!" Koro-sensei screamed looking at the coin purse, shocked.
"Come on, Nagisa-kun!"
"Give back my purse!"
"Sure.."
"But you're taking out the contents!"
Nagisa chuckled at their antics, the three of them slowly walking away from the cliff.
