Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one about Owl House. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Owl House, Disney and Dana Terrace do.

The figure continued running through the forests of the boiling isles. His silhouette visible in the moonlight as he circled around the soldiers of the Emperor's coven.

In a single twirl of his staff. A creature crawled through the hole and slammed into one of the soldiers.

The Griffin let out a shriek that echoed throughout the forest as the soldiers turned to face him. Before they could properly react, the figure had already slammed his staff into the man's face.

The soldier fell to the ground. The figure looked over at the unconscious soldiers.

"Soldiers that can do any magic… And a simple griffin is too much for them to handle." The figure said while rolling his eyes under his mask. "Great job, emperor. You really do hire the best soldiers." The figure stated while leaned on his staff.

In the pale moonlight, one could JUST make out some of his features.

The figure wore a mask which resembled a snake opening its mouth. The figure's hooded cloak had dark hues of purple and orange. A fanged beast leading up to the head of the cloak which had two small ribbons simulating the fangs. A metallic spiked gauntlet covered his right arm.

The figure also had a staff topped with a palisman. A snake sat atop it as the figure spun the blue stick and walked past the soldiers.

This was Azeus. A wild witch who was busy trying to cause as much havoc to the Emperor's coven before morning as possible. Still? He knew he couldn't flat out take dozens of guards alone; this was why he stuck to sneak attacks and ambushes.

Azeus poked at the guards on the ground with his staff before he rested it across his back. The wild witch blinked as he heard something from behind him.

He was quick enough to conjure a shield which sent the fireball skidding into the ground. Azeus grunted and slid back, the corners of his cloak hissing from the fireball.

Azeus was a master when it came to summoning creatures… But things like regular magic? He was still learning more or less.

"Ah, Calvary. I wish I had some." Azeus snarked before drawing another spell circle. A crab spider scuttled out of it. "Oh, have you guys seen some Calvary? I could use some." Azeus stated while the guards charged at him.

Azeus hummed and created another spell circle. A blast of ice emerged. Azeus managed to graze the arm of one guard before he was forced to retreat from more guards.

His beasts retreated with the Griffon hacking up something. It was a massive group of spiders which scuttled towards the guards.

The Griffon then turned and scooped up its owner. Azeus took off into the air before looking at the dozen or so guards.

"Ok, I need a lot more training." Azeus stated while he flew off. He knew the soldiers wouldn't catch the crab spider. The beasts were masters of ambushing people. He remembered how he almost became food for the one he had tamed.

The Griffon circled the forest before vanishing back into the city of Bonesborough. Azeus and his pet set down in an ally.

"Easy, buddy." Azeus said before dismounting the creature. It nuzzled its owner. He patted its beak fondly.

"Well, that was an adventure…" Azeus muttered to himself as he leaned on his staff. It would be morning soon.

Azeus chuckled to himself. The Wild Witch was at least in his own mind? A very laid back and caring if not studious and mysterious witch.

"Ok, go back to your nest." Azeus said while he patted the animal on the head. "I'll come and get you when its time to go ruffle some feathers… Ha, that was terrible." Azeus said while rolling his eyes at his lame joke.

The Griffon took off. Azeus knew the coven didn't know where the nest for his beasts were.

Azeus took the coven soldiers seriously. But he was more worried about the emperor and his enforcer then the army.

"Ah…" Azeus said while cracking his neck. He pulled off his mask.

His purple eyes blazed with mischief as he walked away.

A pretending follower of the Coven System by day. A wild witch who preyed on Belo's empire at night.

Author Notes

Phew, first chapter done! I want to point out that Azeus is an alias and he has a name. Next chapter will show more of Azeus's personality during the day and him learning more about magic. Next chapter will be in a few weeks and will show him finding out more about Eda and Luz. Until then, Lighting Wolf!
