A/N: Just to let you know, this isn't mine, it belongs to Saints-Fan-12. She kind of wanted to see how I would write this and to be honest, it might be complete shit but oh well, here ya go.
"Why the hell am I here again?" Shadow thought for the millionth time in the past hour. He let out a small grunt and rolled his eyes when he remembered the reason why...and that reason was Amy Rose. She was the one that dragged him here yet was nowhere to be seen amongst the sea of bodies that was crowding around the stage. If he had known her intentions were to drag him to some rock concert he had no interest in, he would've made her go home.
His eyes shot to the stage when he heard a voice blare through the speakers.
Don't listen to what your girlfriend says, she reads those magazines.
His ears rang slightly as the crowd screamed when a woman dressed in a red tank top, black ripped jeans and steel toed boots walked onto the stage.
To say you failed the test, you don't have what she needs.
She sang in a rather rough voice. Shadow honestly never heard of the song she was singing but so far, didn't seem to mind. His gaze never left her as she walked across the stage, high fiving a few people that were in the front row. The tattoos on her arm shining from the overhead lights.
Love bites but
"Come on, sing with me!" She yelled through the mic, grinning in satisfaction when the crowd yelled back so do I, so do I. Shadow noticed that as she reached the end of the song, his throat was raw from singing along. He found his slightly impressive when she growled out the last line, gripping the mic.
He jumped a bit when he heard Amy voice hollering next to him as she began to shake him in her excitement. "Wasn't that amazing? I can't believe I'm seeing Discarded Sun in the flesh!" She squealed, shaking him more as he took note of her hair which was once neat but was now rather messy.
Shadow recalls seeing the poster when visiting Amy and that annoyance of a husband she has.
After a few more songs with Amy almost making him lose his ability to hear as well as an attempted mosh pit,he was exhausted. He had a little too much interacting for one day. He looked back towards the stage when he heard the woman's voice. She sounded out of breath which would make sense being she had sung multiple songs in a row.
"Alright alright settle down y'all, I need to say a few things." She said, pacing the stage as her boots made their own rhythm.
"Y'all Talfryn folk have been an amazing crowd, so I think y'all deserve a reward, dontcha think?" She asked, her eyes being a shade of green as she scanned the crowd.
The crowd started to get riled up again, whistling and cheering but only quieted down when the singer sat on the edge of the stage. "How about I invite one of y'all up here for a kiss? How's that sound?" She asked. "It'd probably make my manager happy as well." She joked as she scanned the crowd while receiving hopeful glances and screams.
Shadow was just about to turn around to leave before he heard her speak again. "You, in the far back." Shadow turned and only got a glance up to her, noticing she was seemingly pointing at him before feeling someone push him from behind.
"Will you go already? That's you she's pointing to!" She mumbled, smiling but he could have sworn he heard her mutter "Lucky" under her breath. The crowd parted with ease.
"Now ain't ya'll just adorable." The singer said, pulling Shadow with surprising ease after she kissed Amy's cheek. Shadow barely registered Amy practically melting into a puddle as the singer stood in front of him. "So what's yer name sweetpea?"
"Shadow." He answered, glancing back down to Amy who was still swooning and holding her cheek.
"Edgy. I just might have to take you home with me. See if you're not afraid of the dark." She said, winking at him.
"I don't have anything else to do." He said as she handed her mic to the bassist.
"Oh spicy too. You're alright with this?" She asked, toying with her lip piercing a bit.
If he was dragged to someplace, he might as well make the best of it and enjoy himself right? The kiss started out innocent, him feeling the cool metal of her lip piercing and the warmth of her lips on his however it turned into something a little more deeper. Both paying the crowds hoots and cat calls no mind.
Sandy was the first to pull away, smiling after she took a moment to collect herself. "Well, ya sure ain't no armature that's fer sure."
Shadow smirked slightly at this but it went as fast as it came and he got off stage, wandering off to find Amy who instead found him first and the two left the concert in Amy's car. His mind replaying the kiss he just had.
"She kissed my cheek shadow." Amy sighed dreamily, placing her hand over her cheek again.
"Trust me, I saw." He mumbled, glancing down at the signed CD and tshirt they were given. The background being black and fading to blue as Sandy leaned over the chaise. Her long blond hair covered the side of her face in thick coils as she glared at the camera while the rest of the band had their backs turned.
"You know she grew her hair out just for that and then shaved it off? I swear i'm never letting anyone kiss this cheek again!" She squealed.
"Don't you have a husband?"
"I have another cheek, he'll be fine."
"...Did you know she has a tongue piercing-" He started but grunted when the car screeched to a stop before making a left turn. His eyes slowly moved over to his friend as she gripped the steering wheel.
"You are so damn lucky you know that? I knew I should have gone alone." She pouted before joking. "It was fun though so I may take you when I go next time. See ya!" She waved, rolling the window up. Shadow feared for her eardrums when he heard her turn the radio up till he could hear the bass from inside his home as she drove off.
"Definitely giving you a bath tomorrow." Shadow said he patted his houndoom on the head when he entered. He opened the CD case he was given only to be met with a yellow sticky note inside.
Hey, Sweetpea
Here's a little something extra for being a good sport
Below that was her number, plain and simple. Shadow picked his phone up as it began to ring and answered it only to pull it away when he heard Amy shriek "She gave me free tickets!"
Shadow hung up before she went on a rant about Sandy as well as to save his eardrums from bleeding. He might just have to call the number, ya know for curiosity sake?
