A/N - Let's start with the obvious: I rebranded the series. I changed the title of the first story from The Curse to Red Riding Hood. The name of the series is now Red Wolf and I change the actress that I'm modelling Scarlett after. I also made a new Tumblr for my Disney Descendant OCs, so if you want, feel free to check that out, the link will be on my page, and if you have a tumblr, let me know, I'll follow you, especially if your tumblr is descendants related.

Also, this was the story I worked on for Camp Nano (I didn't win but that's okay) so I actually have a lot of this story already written.

Now: Without further ado, Big Bad Wolf

"If you ever loved me, you'd hit me over the head with this hair drier."

"You are a drama queen."

"I am no such thing." Scarlett argued. "Ow!" She added as Audrey raked the brush through her hair.

"You're meeting Chad's parents for dinner, not challenging them to a duel."

"I might do better in a duel than dinner." Scarlett pointed out. Audrey shook her head and continued her work on Scarlett's hair. It was a battle but eventually Audrey won, stepping back and turning the chair so Scarlett could properly see into the mirror.

"Holy shit, Audrey." Scarlett's eyes widened. Audrey had managed to turn Scarlett's hair from the normal, down bland locks into something with volume and shine. Something Scarlett had always seen as a lost cause.

"Told you. I am a miracle worker." Audrey bragged over herself as she finished purring her various tools and torture devices away.

"You are truly a god." Scarlett conceded, letting Audrey have her moment.

"Thank you." Audrey beamed.

"Thank you." Scarlett repeated, standing up. "Now my hair will look great when it all falls apart."

"Cinderella is not that bad." Audrey argued. "I've known her and the Charmings all my life and they were always nice to me."

"I guess that's true… And I mean, seeing as you are a country bumpkin with a werewolf secret and no charm or class whatsoever- oh wait, that's not you. That's me."

"You are ridiculous." Audrey sighed, giving it up.

"That's my middle name."

"I thought it was Rose." The two jumped, whirling to find Chad standing at the door. "Scarlett Rose."

"It is- It's a figure of- you know what, it doesn't matter. What are you doing here? I thought I had another hour."

"You do, I just wanted to see you." Ever since the big fight with Ezekiel, Chad had become obsessed with checking on her, usually it was cute. At two AM it was less cute but today it was fine.

"I'm okay." She promised. Scarlett headed for the door where he stood and kissed him.

"No boys in the girls dorms!" Merryweather's voice boomed down the hall. Chad's eyes wided and he stole a quick kiss.

"See you in an hour." He grinned and bolted down the hall.

"Chad Charming!" Merryweather bellowed, her rounded form rushing past their door.

"That boy loves you, hard core." Audrey commented to her best friend

"I love him too." Scarlett confirmed.

"And his parents will love you too."

"Way to kill the moment Audrey." Audrey simply rolled her eyes and tossed some clothes to Scarlett that she had pulled from the closet.

"Get dressed, Drama."

The Charming Castle was obnoxiously gorgeous. It was huge and old but very well maintained.

"Holy shit." Scarlett whispered as they drove up the massive circle drive.

"Yeah… it is a lot." Chad admitted. It was big enough to hold the entire town that Scarlett had grown up in.

"It is." Scarlett agreed.

"It's smaller than our old one though." Chad offered, as if that made such a difference.

"Wow." Scarlett breathed. Chad parked and got out, running around to open the door for his girlfriend, who was too taken aback by the grounds to bother to try and open the door herself.

"It's really not that big of a deal." He insisted. Scarlett caught the edge of desperation in his voice and it helped her to snap out of it.

"Of course it's not." She smiled at him and Chad relaxed.

"Hello!" The two looked up to the large doors into the castle. They were wide open and there stood a very handsome couple. The man looked a lot like Chad but with dark hair. His clothes were pressed and impeccable. As they came closer, Scarlett could see the fine lines around his eyes, smile lines, she hoped.

The woman, Cinderella, was every bit as beautiful as Scarlett expected. Her blonde hair was swept up into a perfect french twist. She wore a tailored light blue summery suit, her old black choker replaced with a string of black pearls. She descended the stairs with her husband going straight for her son.

"Chad." She greeted him with a hug. When they parted, his father gave him a much shorter hug.

"Mom, dad, this is Scarlett." Chad stepped back and looked at his girlfriend.

"About time. I was starting to think Chad made you up." The elder Charming joked.

"Nice to meet you both." Scarlett glanced back and forth between the two.

"Oh dear." Cinderella stepped closer and wrapped Scarlett in a hug. It was a shock, but Scarlett hugged the woman back. It was nice actually, she was pretty great at giving a hug.

"Come on inside, Grandfather is waiting to meet this young woman you can't stop talking about."

"Dad." Chad groaned as Scarlett grinned, her eyes trailing over to Chad. King Charming simply laughed and led the group into the castle.

Scarlett was sure she was going to get lost in this place. Probably more than once. As they walked through the entry hall, Cinderella was explaining the layout… kind of. All Scarlett was getting from it was that this place was huge and a maze and she was going to have to make sure that Chad escorted her everywhere so she didn't end up lost in a dungeon somewhere and starve to death.

They were led out to the back courtyard, where an old man was standing, he held a rifle up to his shoulder.

"Pull!" He called. The man behind him pulled a sting and a catapult threw what seemed to be a large baseball into the sky. There was a crack of the gun going off, nearly deafening Scarlett and the baseball was shown to actually be a large clay ball, bursting into a million pieces as the bullet pierced it.

"Grandfather!" Chad called out, seeing how the sound had hurt Scarlett's sensitive ears. The old man lowered the gun before turning back, he had a thick white moustache and and the corners turned up as he grinned. The man handed the gun over to the servant and started over to the group.

"Chad, ol boy, please tell me this is the mysterious Charlotte you're always talking about."

"Scarlett, dad." King Charming corrected.

"Scarlett, yes, that's it." He reached a hand out to shake Scarlett's. She shook his hand and he gave hers a slight squeeze. "You have rough palms." He informed her, as if she didn't already know.

"I… do…." She agreed, "I grew up on a farm."

"Chad told us that, I never imagined you actually did the farm work."

"Someone had to. It was me and my grandmother."

"And you helped out around the farm, interesting. I like a girl who can take care of things. It's why I like Cindy with my Richard so much." He nodded at his son and Cinderella.

"That and because he knows I love her." Richard added. The old man nodded in agreement.

"Of course, but that goes without saying. I'm sure you know the story. Fell in love at first sight."

"Yeah, I heard it. It's a sweet story." Scarlett confirmed, smiling at Chad's parents. It was a lot sweeter than their own love story of werewolf fights, back from the dead mothers and stalker alpha wolves. But not nearly as interesting, she supposed.

Their group, now including Chad's Grandfather headed into the castle again where, Scarlett was told, there was going to be a nice lunch waiting for them.

"So Scarlett, tell us a bit more about yourself." Cinderella prompted as they got to the room where the promised spread lived. Scarlett's mouth watered at the smell.

"Oh, umm… I grew up in Countryside, with my grandmother. When she… passed away, I decided to get out of that town… I just wanted a fresh start. And I had heard Auradon Prep was pretty amazing."

"Help yourself." Chad gestured to the table. Scarlett hesitated. "You know you want to." A moment later, Scarlett had a plate in her hands and was heaping it with food. He was right, she did want to. She hadn't eaten breakfast that morning and she was amazed that they hadn't heard her stomach growling all morning.

"She certainly knows how to eat." Grandfather noted as she stacked her plate. "I like this one, Chad."
