Benito hummed and tapped his fingers on the ground. He could only look to the side. He was entirely curious what had brought him to this contest in the first place… And perhaps it was better to not dwell on the issue to begin with.

Benito had come to represent his group in a local tournament which they required the money for when it came down to it. Still? He felt way over his head with how powerful the people he'd be up against.

"This was a bad idea. I told them what we'd be up against… They didn't listen to me." Benito muttered to himself while sighing. "This is going to suck when we start fighting." Benito added while he continued to pace back and forth.

He knew they needed the money to keep surviving, but there was far too much at stake for him to concentrate. Benito was on edge for good reason. They would end up dying out if they were defeated in this.

Still? He was curious on how this would pan out. This contest would end up being a battle of wills and such. Benito did enjoy a good fight now and again when they could be afforded the time to enjoy it.

But his clan was counting on him to win, which was why he was here now… Benito sighed and continued to pace back and forth on the deck as he awaited his chance to fight.

"Hey, your one of the people who wants to fight in the tournament, right?" Benito heard as he turned to the side and looked at the source of the words.

He looked at a woman who had long blonde hair with sparkling blue eyes. He knew who she was since she was on various covers of things.

"Yes… Your Jenny Realight, right?" Benito questioned as he timidly tapped his fingers together. "And yes, I am…" Benito stated while he tried to force his gaze forward.

Jenny seemed unmoved by the looks. She was used to people looking at her before and modeled all the time. It wasn't something that she cared about while Benito hummed.

"Yep, of the Blue Pegasus." Jenny said and tapped at the tattoo on her arm as Benito hummed and slowly drew his eyes to it. "You have one on your chest. So, you're fighting for your guild as well?" Jenny questioned as she pointed at the spider like symbol on his upper left chest.

Benito hummed and nodded as he looked to the side. He cleared his throat and looked to the side.

"Hmm…" Benito hummed and then nodded before he turned back to Jenny. "This win would be really important if I ended up winning… My guild isn't exactly doing good when it comes down to it…. Why are you fighting in here?" Benito questioned as he continued to tap his fingers together.

He was more curious then scared. Was he scared of fighting a mage like Jenny? Yes, but he was more scared of losing when it came down to it. They couldn't afford to lose now when he had got closer.

"Because it's fun… Blue Pegasus doesn't exactly need the money, however." Jenny said while Benito nodded. "It's nice fighting in your guild for them, wouldn't you?" Jenny asked before he looked to the side.

Benito couldn't assume what would happen next when the fight came down to it. Benito watched Jenny smile as he turned to the side.

"It is when you don't have to carry out fighting for your clan alone." Benito stated as he cracked his neck and tapped his fingers together once again. "I'd enjoy it more if you didn't have so much pressure on you." Benito added as he sighed.

Benito hummed and continued to look to the side. Benito was curious about the upcoming fight once more. There was far too much at stake to deal with something as trivial as winning and losing.

But it didn't make the burden less heavy in the end. Benito looked at the smiling Jenny and allowed himself a small smile.

"This is still going to be fun. Just give it time." Jenny said as she turned to face forward.

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be a bit longer. Next chapter will show Jenny and Benito fighting and show off how powerful he is and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
