Sup guys? Time for another story. This one about RWBY. Enjoy the 800-word Chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth do.

Cinder ran her fingers over her scar. It was a reminder of what had happened because she chose power over innocent life.

She stood in her office at Haven. Cinder remembered the last time she stood inside these halls. She had led Salem's army into battle against Ozpin and her team.

Cinder tried to take the power of the Spring Maiden, only to be defeated easily and crushed. It wasn't even a contest that the Fall Maiden had been lucky to have survived the ordeal to begin with.

"Ms. Fall?" Cinder heard from the door as she turned to look at the woman at the door.

"Yes, Opal?" Cinder asked while she made sure the obsidian mask that rested over her right eye was secure. "I was just thinking to myself." Cinder stated while cracking her fingers.

Her shadow arm ached while she grabbed at it. Cinder remembered the reason she wore the red dress on the day of the battle for Haven.

Cinder adjusted the giant sleeve which she had since made detachable so as not to have to repair it.

"The next class will be tomorrow. I was told by Headmaster Theodore that you would like to have a meeting soon if I'm not wrong?" Opal asked while Cinder let out a hum.

"Considering tomorrow is the anniversary of Salem's defeat?" Cinder asked while lowering her fingers to her side. Cinder hummed and looked at her gloved hand.

Cinder was rewarded for helping defeat Salem by taking over Lionheart's post as headmaster of Haven. It made her happy to still have some level of power on Remnant. Even if it wasn't the level of power she had originally wanted to begin with.

"I'll go and tell them about it." Opal said before turning back to the Fall Maiden. "What about General Ironwood? He is appearing tomorrow. He said something was urgent and he wanted you to talk about it with him. I told him you might be busy with your husband and all that and can't make it." Opal stated which caused Cinder to hum and look out the window.

"I'm going to go home, Opal." Cinder said while looking at her assistant. "You can tell the students they have tomorrow off. Their going to need it for the assignments coming up." Cinder stated before finally walking past her assistant.

Cinder descended the stairs and looked back at Opal before giving a wave. Cinder walked through the front doors and brushed off her dress.

Cinder cracked her back and growled in pain as her shadow arm sent a burst of pain through her body. Cinder straightened up while her right eye burned with maiden power.

Cinder slowly started to walk back towards home. Ever since the war with Salem ended, the world had started to heal. That said? There was still conflict here and there. Cinder knew very well there was many bandits still living in Mistral since the number of Grimm had started to fall.

"Ow…." Cinder hissed to herself while starting to walk towards her home. Cinder looked at the academy which had since become her home.

She smirked; things had changed. Cinder had gone from being a self-worshiping sociopath to being a headmistress. A Maiden who served Remnant.

It also gave her a family that was now well known. Something that could at the very least be proud of if not more.

That was right before Cinder heard the sound of a gun being cocked and sighed.

"Do you have a death wish?" Cinder questioned the bandit, already knowing the man's answer.

"You should have handed us the money last week, Fall." The bandit stated while Cinder rolled her good eye.

If the man and his group 2 dozen or so bandits were smart? They would have realized very quick that trying to rob her wasn't a good idea.

"And if I did? You would have tried to rob me again." Cinder said while tightening her left hand into a fist. It had been so long since she had fought someone.

This would be a good test of her skills. Cinder smirked as she would when engaging someone and turned to look at the bandit leader.

"Please tell me this… Is this all you've brought?" Cinder questioned the bandit leader. His men spread out to flank her from every angle.

"Why, scared seeing what real power is like?" The bandit leader asked while Cinder could only chuckle in amusement.

"No, because I hope you've paid their hospital bills in advance." Cinder stated while turning around to look at the bandit leader.

Before the man could blink, Cinder shot forward on jets of flame. She aimed her fist at the man's head and grinned to herself.

She could see the priceless look on the man's face as her right arm made contact with the man.

It was something to behold.
