So a few things before you read this Chapter is more focused on Yashi i want to give an understanding to his Character.
Yashi was sitting in his lab mapping out the plans for his machine to extract the chakra. There was still something wrong with it and he couldn't figure out just what it was he had inspected, refurbished, and replaced the internal system running the machine but there was still the matter that the machine was extracting to much chakra to the point where it was killing the host and when it transferred the chakra it was going into the new host body's system like an acid and burning them from the inside out.
At first, he thought that the host and the incoming host were not compatible, but that theory was quickly refuted when he started test in compatible subject. This slowed the process but nevertheless they both ended up dying.
He had checked his code and the structure but that was fine, the storage of the chakra but that was fine as well, he checked the extraction process, but all seemed well there it was separating just fine and once it got the chakra it needs the process stopped.
The problem seemed to come from the people themselves the host just leaked out the rest of their chakra like their ability to retain charka had stopped. So now once again he was going through the extraction process trying to see if he had missed something.
After another four hours of trying to figure out what was wrong with no avail. Frustrated with his lack of progress he went to go check up on Hinata activating the seal that seal he had on her mind to connect them Yashi was transferred into Hinata's mindscape.
Upon entering her mind, her looked around and found Hinata sitting on the floor he gave her a smile and said, "Just a checkup" Then made his way to look through her memories.
In actuality he checks the seal then spends the rest of the time watching her memories they are very interesting her life was filled with various tribulations and somehow, she raised above them.
Her life would make for a very interesting book he always though as he would go through her memories the more recent memories were sappy but the ones as she was growing up were always action packed and had an underlying sadness.
In actuality it was nothing like what he expected her mind to look like he would have thought that her life was all cupcakes and rainbows, but he should have known better than to assume.
"Just what are you checking" Hinata had said which snapped Yashi out of his thought and he turned and looked at her with a smile that he had noticed made her uncomfortable "I was wondering how long it was going to take you to ask". "Why did you block my memories" she then asked because he didn't answer her first question, he then gave her a confused look "Didn't I tell you this already" She just scoffed "That's bullshit and you know it if you didn't want me relaying your plans and information then you could have just blocked our meeting not twenty years of my life" Hinata says the agitation in her voice evident.
Yashi just gave her another smile "You got me there is a little more to my plan and might I add it is progressing beautifully there have been very little obstacles I planned for everything I thought of every possibility as to how my plan could go astray and counters for it. You see this had been something in the making for a long time and I just know have been able to start the implications for it. A wise man once said, 'the two most powerful warriors are patience and time'. I have been very patient and the time for my plan to be put into action is now.
I ask you for the same thing patience because the time will come when my plan will be unveiled to all, and you Hinata-sama play a very important role." Yashi said and Hinata just listened a little shocked at what he had just said. Seeing that the conversation was over Yashi went on his merry way to look through her memories.
He knew that she wouldn't get it just yet but his plan if executed perfectly would change the whole in a shinobi world and would put him on top a supreme leader that none could reveal. He would bring real peace there can not be war if there are no means to fight, he knows that the peace they are experiencing now is all temporary and one day someone is going to rise up and another war will ensue.
He was trying to make sure that it never happened his goal is to extract the chakra out of a person's body but only enough that they can't use it to fight leaving only the minimal amount needed to live and knowing through his years of research that the energy has to go somewhere he was going to store it into another vessel which he has taken to calling his peacekeepers.
His goal is true peace that he has control over his life's work will come to pass even if it ends up killing him because he knows that the need of the many outweigh the needs of the one. Yashi has seen to much blood shed his life and he knows that there will always be bad people who do bad things, but his goal is to take away some of the power those bad people they might see him as a villain now but in the end, they will see he strove for true peace no matter the ending.
So this was chapter I hope that you have a better understanding of Yashi and his motives. I do have a whole reason for the way that he is if you still have questions i am more than happy to answer them and i know this chapter is significantly shorter than my usual ones but i didn't want to go an a rant all about Yashi.
To Jenuzumaki who asked how strong Yashi is? Its not that Yashi is insanely strong its the fact that he is calculating and has been planning this for years. And Ino is better because it is the seal that is on Hinata's mind that is holding her back. Due to Yashi being so meticulous.
To CagedHeart7 I am glad that you like Naruto in this fic I wanted to portray him in a light that shows that he is not perfect but he is trying to be better. I also wanted to acknowledge how important Hinata is to their family light because sadly we don't get enough of any of the families in Boruto.
