Shockwave stared at the drones which were charred and a little bit burning from where he was laying on the floor. He remembered how his old friend Wheeljack programmed some of them to do a little dance and again when those drones did it again at the peacetalks.
His thoughts were disrupted when he noticed the Allspark returning life to Cybertron. After a long struggle the Allspark was returned to its home.
"Shockwave" A voice came from his comm, and he pressed his finger against it.
"Yes Lord" He replied before he was interrupted.
"Destroy the Allspark!" Commanded the Decepticon warlord. Shockwave's cycloptic eye widened. Destroying the Allspark would mean death for all of Cybertron and its people including the Decepticons.
"Sir I must advise against this decision" Protested Shockwave. He couldn't believe that Megatron would be so willing to doom the entire Cybertronian race without a second thought.
"I don't care about what you think! Destroy the Allspark!" Megatron harshly said. Sounds of fighting were coming from the other side of the comm.
"But we'll all die! What's the point of winning if we're not around to celebrate it! This is not logical" Protested Shockwave again with fear in his tone.
"It would be worth it just to spite Prime! Now do it!" The Decepticon warlord shouted. Shockwave was shocked to find out that the Decepticon leader would destroy their entire species just so he could defeat the Autobots. He was now torn between following orders and his logic. After a long internal struggle, he picked the latter.
"No" Said Shockwave with surprising conviction. He continued. "Listen here Lord Megatron. I only followed you as long as I did because you were logical in every move you make but this just crosses the line. If you want to destroy the Allspark get another one of your lackeys to do it! Goodbye Lord Megatron" He finished with a mocking tone. He turned off his comm and turned towards the two Autobots in the room. Silence filled the room. After a long silence one of the Autobots Bumblebee opened his mouth
"Damn. I never thought I see the day where one of Megatron's head lackeys talks trash to him besides Starscream" Exclaimed Bumblebee. It was true Starscream tended to question every one of Megatron's commands and tried to take over leadership of the Decepticons once and even trash talked Megatron directly to his face.
"So, what will you do now?" Asked the Cheetah Guardian of the Allspark. Shockwave glanced around taking in the Chamber of the Allspark before simply shrugging his shoulders.
"I don't know. Talk with Optimus about getting a membership amongst the Autobots" Replied Shockwave.
