It was like a flash of lighting.
A normal human couldn't have comprehended the speed of that spear.
A normal human would have died by that spear.
But I was not a normal human.
I understood this the day I was 'born'.
The flames had changed something in me.
Faster and more deadly.
I could see it.
The lines that existed everywhere. The lines all over the world.
I could kill anything that was living.
No mercy.
No hesitation.
I felt like a monster and I knew it.
A clash of steel.
The spearmen stumbled back as his eyes widened at the unexpected strike.
The spearman immediately jumped out of the shed as his instincts screamed at him to run away from the boy.
Jumping back from the boy, he immediately retreated to a few feet away from the shed using his vast speed.
It was a wise choice on his part. The ground where he once stood had turned to dust in front of his eyes.
Taking a proper moment to ready myself, I took a stance to fight.
"What's wrong, scared?"
I mocked him with a smirk.
He responded with a scowl.
If looks could kill, I would be dead over a thousand times.
The warrior's eyes were filled with contempt and anger. He lifted his spear up and began to do something with it.
Something dangerous.
Looking at the bloody spear filled with bloodlust, I realise a very simple thing.
His spear could kill me.
I could feel it in the air. It was institutional knowledge born of a desire to live.
This hero can kill me.
I knew this fact very well.
I will die if I allowed him to complete what he was doing.
There would be no help to save me this time.
I would be a dead body living in the shed with no one to witness my death.
...
...
...
I had to stop such a thing from happening.
An: A teaser. Should I make this story or not? Please tell me in the review.
