Bell ran his fingertips over her smooth milky-white skin, savouring the intimate moment between them, and trying to forget for a moment the problems to come. She trembled under his warm touch and a moan escaped from her, and Bell smiled watching her goosebumps.
"Bell!," Artemis groaned while turning around trying to evade his touch. "Just what are you trying to achieve?" She asked, gripping the white sheets closer to her body.
"Nothing," He stared at her narrowed emerald eyes as the sunlight made them glow lightly. "I can't help but think that you're the most beautiful goddess in the world." Artemis giggled at that.
"You're hopeless,"
The young only smiled at her words, but the thought of leaving this place made him sad. Sighing tiredly, Bell felt her hand on his cheek, her thumb caressing his cheekbone right above his scar.
"I don't want to leave this place," Bell admitted leaning on her warm touch and kissing her palm. "I don't want to lose you," He added as his fingers intertwined with hers under the blanket.
"You won't lose me, Bell," She said with a slight smile. "I'm not going to die. I'm a Goddess, remember?"
The white-haired young man tried to stay positive, but he knew as much as she knew that even gods could die. Bell hated to think of it, but Prometheus had to be stopped. The Titan somehow managed to escape from his imprisonment in the Tartarus, creating offsprings and monsters; destroying everything on his path. Bell could only shudder in anxiety, knowing he was going to fight the Titan to prevent it from reaching Orario. And the dreadful picture of losing Artemis was too much to bear.
"We'll be alright, Bell," Artemis assured.
Untangling their fingers, Bell retrieved his hand and uncovered his body from under the white blankets. He felt the light warm from the sunlight hitting his back and arms like a comforting hug, and gazing at the floor Bell took a moment for himself.
He looked around, recognizing the spacious room and noticing things he didn't see yesterday night when he made love to his beloved Goddess. Bell fixed his attention on his golden armour, its silvery wings displayed a gracious and angelical aspect, but he smiled at the golden bow. Artemis had gotten him that bow, after a life-threatening mission. The young white-haired man got up from bed, ignoring the breeze that caressed his naked body.
"Bell?" Artemis called out his name and he just walked towards his armour.
This was his armour, a part of his life and soul. He had found it so many years ago in the Dungeons when everything seemed so easy and loving a Goddess was forbidden for him. If Bell could take back those years trying to avoid the growing desire he had for his Goddess, for his beloved Artemis, he would take the opportunity just to spend more time with her. She was his whole world, his most prized treasure; and he would die first before anything happened to her, Bell was sure of that.
"Sagittarius," Bell whispered the name, one of his former names, touching the warm metal of his chest plate. His thumb cleaned some dust from it. "This is going to be a tough fight, isn't it?"
Bell ignored his many scars running over his body as he took his smallclothes and red breeches. Many of these scars he had earned before wearing his armour and after that, a small bunch of scars decorated his arms and thighs. Putting his clothes on, Bell heard Artemis approach behind him and soon he felt two slim arms enveloping his abdomen. And as he adjusted his breeches, Bell felt how her warm breath caressed his back and a swift kiss touched a particular scar.
"So many," Artemis whispered before leaning in and kissing another scar, right below his omoplate. "You have so many scars." and she placed another kiss, this time more tender and sweet.
"They're worthy," Bell replied as he turned around, hugging Artemis. "Many of them I earned from protecting you - so, they're worthy for me." He saw her mouth open, but Bell took that moment to taste her lips; she smelled of lilac and she tasted like gooseberries. After a brief moment, Bell retrieved his "You're worthy."
"Really, you're hopeless," She said, unlacing one arm and placing her right hand on his cheek. "And I love that." She didn't hesitate to kiss him one more time.
"You should dress, Artemis," Bell advised after the brief kiss, noticing her body. "I don't mind seeing you naked but..." he trailed off as he glanced at her womanly assets. Bell blushed and a slender finger moved his chin, forcing him gently to look at Artemis. Her eyebrow arched as she bit her bottom lip. "We don't have time."
"Are you sure, Orion?" She let her tongue dance sensually, moistening her lips. "Sagittarius… Apollyon… Bell. How should I call you?" She asked, tipping her nose to his ear and throwing a warm wave of air.
Bell felt a cold shiver crawling through his back, making him let go a shaky breath as he embraced her sensual figure. Her naked bosom pressing against his muscular and scarred chest. Running his hands over her smooth skin, Bell savoured this moment and wishing that it could last an eternity. And a loud horn woke Bell from this moment.
Artemis pouted as she closed her eyes and rested her head against his chest, leaning her ear right above where his heart is. "This is unfair," she said, struggling to contain her tears, and tightening her embrace. "I don't want this. This is unfair!" Artemis cried.
"I know," Bell replied caressing her head, giving a quick kiss on her cerulean-coloured hair. "I know, love."
A second horn blast was heard and Bell sighed, knowing that they have to prepare for the battle to come. He cupped her cheek and saw the tears running down her cheeks, Bell tried to smile and with his thumbs, he wiped the tears. It took her a moment before she nodded at him, with watery eyes and a smile.
"We should get ready," Bell kissed her forehead one more time. "I don't want them to be looking for us."
After what he said, Artemis untangled her arms from his body and took several steps towards her bed. Bell gazed at her back, her soft and pale skin being hit by sun rays and her hair shining like sapphires strands. And Bell couldn't help but fix his eyes on her rear, desiring for more time with her. Groaning, he turned around and faced his golden and silvery armour.
"Time is not on our side today, huh?" Bell took the golden longbow carefully, testing the familiar weight and tensing the bowstring. "It's going to be hard, but we'll make it through, won't we?"
Bell heard a third horn blast and didn't take him so much time to gear up. Putting on his red sleeveless shirt, Bell then proceeded to put his armour. Taking his golden sabatons and golden graves, Bell sighed.
"I love you, but I hate you when I have to equip myself with every piece," Bell said to his armour not expecting an answer, to be honest.
