Ludenberg. Ludenberg
A skinny, doll-like woman stood at a mirror. She stood in a dark bedroom she painted herself. She was trapped with 14 other students in an unforgiving, cruel killing game. The rules were simple; kill someone else and get away with it to "win" the game and escape into the outside world. Fail to do that and you die.
It was barely the first few days of such game, and she already wanted to get out. She simply didn't want to stay here any longer. She wanted a rich, royal life, with servants, butchers, and even a European mansion. She wanted all of it.
But stuck here, she would not get any of that.

Ludenberg. Celestia Ludenberg.
"..."
I would say it's a nice name.
The doll-like woman decided to call it a day. She earlier established a curfew to prevent murders while everyone was still together, mostly to get a sense of control over everyone else. She wanted an advantage where she could leave out of this wretched place and live the life she wanted. She had an elaborate plan to escape.
But for now, she should play it safe. For now, at least.
"..."
She was called Celestia Ludenberg, and she was known as the Ultimate Gambler. She had a past that she wanted to get rid of, and did everything she could to do so, including a change in clothes, mannerisms, accent, and even her original name, Taeko Yasuhiro. She hated that name, and she hated her past.

We have all seen what happens in the original story. She teams up with Hifumi Yamada (The Ultimate Otaku) and kills both Kiyotaka Ishimaru (The Ultimate Prefect) and her partner in an attempt to leave the school and fails in the process. Her execution consisted of burning at a stake and getting hit by a firetruck. A despairing death for sure.
Except, that's not how things will play out. Not this time.
Unbeknownst to Celestia, the rest of the students, and even the mastermind Monokuma, a meteorite crashed near the academy the students were trapped in. The dorms the students slept in were soundproof, and Monokuma was on sleep mode. No one heard the impact.
At first, the meteorite didn't do much. But inside, something was spreading. Something that would change the killing game in a new direction.
A virus in the form of fog came out of the meteorite, and it managed to spread into a few dorms into the academy. No one would know of its effects. At least, not now. The meteorite soon crumbled into mere dust, and the rest of the night was silent from there...
Author's Note: Okey, this is my first time writing fanfiction. Ever. I think I did good, though. If you guys want to guess what happens next or want to give your opinion, please feel free to do so. Expect more to come soon!
