Summary of The Story: This is a Dragon Ball Z Super Crossover with The Owl House. Since one of the aspect of Next-Gen Avengers was a Rivalry between Eda Clawthrone and Vegeta was an idea I wanted to show case. Since Next-Gen Avengers was crumbling, I'll admit that. I was Really looking forward to this aspect. So, I am doing a preview for this story. This will feature this Rivalry, but I do plan to focus on other things to equally show case both fandoms in their own right. Let me know what you think and if you would like me to continue it
Within the Dueling area of The Boiling Isles, Eda and her long time rival Vegeta were currently starring each other down with the tension of an old western film with two gunslingers. Waiting for one of them to make the first move. "You know Vegeta," Eda started as she summoned her Owl Staff to her side through magic, "I am a bit touched that you took all of this time and effort to have a one on one match with me. I remember the day in high school when we fought." She announced as she chuckled at the memory of the past. "I can't say that you didn't deserve having me breaking your arm like a twig due to your cocky arrogance."
Yet this made Vegeta a bit enraged by this. "Oh really? That was just a cheap shot and You Know it Clawthrone!" The Saiyan shouted in anger as he clenched his fist as he glared down at Eda as she braced herself for battle. "THIS Time I am gonna beat you, Smudged Witch! You won't get lucky twice!" He declared as he yelled a battle cry before his hair turned into a golden color with sparks of energy flowing from it. His eyes turned into a fierce Teal Color as well as he took his own fighting stance.
"If you say so, MC Widow's Peak." The Owl Lady told him before casting a spell to send several Owl Structures to attack The Saiyan as he managed to smash through them before he closed in on her. He Charged up a chi attack within his hand as he shouted "Big Bang Attack!" Firing a sphere of blue energy towards Eda as she smirked at this.
Using her staff, she created a defensive shield by twirling it around that made the attack shatter against the mystical shield before using her staff to take flight at blinding speeds. However, Vegeta was no stranger to this tactic as he swung his arm towards the predicted area where Eda would show up. Eda was promptly knocked off of her staff as she tried to regain her ground as she recalled her staff into her hand before firing a powerful spell at him.
"Seems like you have been improving Vegeta! This might be more challenging than I thought!" The Witch Woman announced as Vegeta quickly blocked the attack as his feet slid against the ground underneath him, leaving clear marks in the dirt. Eda then proceeded to conjure more spells to keep the arrogant prince on the defensive. Yet, Vegeta managed to fire several chi bolts on Eda's assault before catching his breath.
'What the heck is going on? I have to be at least ten times stronger now. Yet, it feels like I am running out of power for some reason. I have to end this fast if I want to push her in her place for once and for all.' Vegeta told himself within his thoughts. Within the bleachers, Luz, Amity, Tien, and Steve were watching this battle as it raged on.
"Is it just me or does Vegeta seem a bit exhausted already?" Steve questioned as he observed Vegeta's movements during the fight. Even though the two were evenly matched right now. It didn't seem like it would be the case for long.
Tien smirked once he realized what was happening to the Saiyan Warrior as he tried to overcome Eda and her overwhelming magic and even almost let out a laugh. Luz caught sight of before she asked the question on everyone's mind. "You know what's happening already?" She wasn't exactly sure what Tien saw, but she knew that he would be able to figure it out.
"It is quite obvious actually," He started as looked towards Luz, "He hasn't figured out how to fully use his new Form appropriately." He explained as he resumed watching the fight with knee interest now.
Amity's eyes widened as she figured out what was going on too. "So, this Super Form is burning far more energy than what it actually has? How reckless can he even be…" Amity said aloud as she facepalmed by how idiotic Vegeta can be.
"Well… I think he is very reckless, honestly. He even puts himself in bigger fights than thinks due to thinking he is the best warrior around." Steve said before laughing a bit at some of these cases based on memory.
"Eda is Totally winning this fight! She is gonna whip his ass and kick him to the curb!" Luz shouted with excitement before cheering Eda on. Yet both Vegeta and Eda weren't making things easy for each other and this is why they fought each other at times. They both pushed each other hard to grow stronger and these fights were something that they both enjoyed, despite never wanting to admit this for one reason or another.
As the duel continued on, it was quickly becoming clear that Vegeta was getting worn out as his Super Form began to flicker off more and more with every chi attack he used. Seeing this as an opportunity, Eda then used her magic to create the Owl Structures once again as she threw her to The Saiyan as he tried to defend himself from incoming attack. "Seems like you're running out of gas Vegeta! Guess you need to work on your stamina more often!" She declared as her staff knocked Vegeta towards the Owl Structures, causing him to grunt in pain as they collided with his body as well as knocking him into one of the walls.
Vegeta was absolutely enraged by his closing defeat as he managed to break himself out of the crater Eda put him in. "Think you won, Edalyn? This is far from over." He told The Owl lady while cracking his neck and prepared for one of his newest attacks as he thrust his hands outwards to the sides. Within each hand, a large amount of Sparking Yellow Energy began to form before he slowly brought them both together causing them to form into a larger and greater cluster of Raw Energy.
Seeing this occur, everyone within the stadium began to scream and panic as they tried to get to safety as the energy grew more powerful by the second. "What are you trying to do, Vegeta!? You are gonna take out most of the stadium with that attack!" Amity shouted out of concern and fear as she tried to reason with him. Even Eda realized how much power was being placed into this Blast as she tried to come up with a plan to stop it from being fired before the entire stadium could fall apart.
