Namaskar, everyone. And would ya believe it? Another little fun short story idea has just emerged into me, this time brought on by my love of the Fast and Furious franchise, especially the ones that feature the Shaw brothers Owen and Deckard, played to a splendid tee by Luke Evans and Mr Jason Statham. And the official unable to go away once I'd thought about it picture regarding them is: what if they, with their franchise's universe existing in the Arrowverse itself, had been some of the additional help that Oliver had called upon to help him out in the Arrow season 5 finale against Adrian Chase and his posse? Well, allow me to answer all of that right here, right now.

To help, regarding the Arrowverse parts, Barry did not create Flashpoint at the end of Flash season 2, so no lovesick Iris infatuated lapdog Savitar BS here, though Dr Alchemy has still been around creating metas and causing trouble for Team Flash, dear sweet lil darling Sara Diggle is safe from erasure as a result, and Barry helped Caitlin recover from her trauma brought on at the hands of Hunter Zolomon/Zoom, the two of them admitting their feelings for each other prior to season 3 and are now together. With Arrow, and to take some inspiration from the great Stand with Ward and Queen's splendid story 'A love of two earths', Barry revealed Earth 2 Laurel/Black Siren's presence to Oliver during the Invasion drama, with Oliver offering the sonic screaming Laurel Lance doppelganger the chance to join his Star City team and start a path to redemption, which she accepted and returned to Star City with Oliver and joined Team Arrow. So Chase has recruited Dinah Drake instead, as we all much prefer her as being evil, don't we, and has also brought Liza Werner, Chien Na Wei/China White and Carrie Cutter into his villain posse, Laurel prevented Talia from knocking Oliver out with a tranq dart and so preventing all the 5x17 bullcrap from ever happening, and Felicity has been arrested for the Helix business, so a thank god there with her too.

All that said, let's begin the main plot, which begins in Arrow 5x22, but it is not Malcolm who approaches Oliver, as for the sake of this he's still off on his villainous adventures with Eobard Thawne and the Legion of Doom. Who it will be, well, that's enough from me, so let's get into it. Hope everyone enjoys. This will be two or three chapters, depending how big we go, so not doing it as a one-shot saves me bad chapter length at the same time.

I do not own Arrow, Fast and Furious or any of the characters within either

Oliver and Earth 2 Laurel were down in the Arrow lair, standing in front of the suit displays, both of them looking specifically at Thea's old Speedy outfit when suddenly, Oliver felt the hairs on the back of his neck go up, sensing that someone else was in the bunker, skulking on the parapets above them.

"We're no longer alone, Ollie," Laurel whispered, loud enough for Oliver to hear but not so that whoever was there with them could, she and him not changing their positions so as not to give anything away. Oliver nodded, walked casually up to Thea's suit and as the unknown intruder jumped down, grabbed both a flechette and Thea's Katana, his right hand throwing the flechette as he and Laurel turned quickly round. But the flechette never hit its target as the unknown person leaned quickly to the left, the projectle whizzing past and clanging into the wall.

Oliver found himself staring in shock at who it was who stood before him and Laurel, and he quickly put a hand on her shoulder and shook his head as she turned to him, knowing she had been about to use her sonic scream, before looking back to their visitor, which was a woman dressed in a crimson red tshirt, blue jeans and black trainers.

"Good throw, Oliver," Helena Bertinelli aka the Huntress remarked, "But not fast enough on this occassion."

"Helena?!" Oliver exclaimed, still in shock at seeing his old girlfriend again.

"Helena. As in the Helena you were with once and who took up the Huntress name and mantle in order to get revenge on her father for his instigating the death of her fiancé?" Laurel asked in surprise. Oliver had told her about Helena during the time she had been with Team Arrow.

"The very same," Helena answered for Oliver. Her eyes now narrowed. "I thought you were dead, Laurel," she said.

"Yes, I am Laurel Lance, but also not," Laurel explained. Helena's brow furrowed in confusion at the last three words, and Oliver took over.

"Helena, this is Laurel Lance of Earth 2, also known as Black Siren," he explained, gesturning to Laurel.

"Earth 2?" Helena asked, more confused than ever. But then Oliver changed the subject, bringing them back to the matter at hand.

"What happened to you, Helena?" he asked, "You're supposed to be stuck in a maximum security cell in Iron Heights."

"Blame your friend Damien Darhk," Helena said, smirking at the realization which passed over Oliver's face at her words. "My cell door was one of those that opened when the bastard instigated his breakout, and, well..." Helena shrugged, "I wasn't exactly gonna hang about for the cops to detain me and lock me up in that box all over again. So I took advantage of the opportunity that presented itself to me, and made my exit."

"And where have you been all this time since then?" Oliver asked.

"I've been laying low, deciding on when would be the right time for me to show myself to you once again," Helena replied.

"Picked a helluva time to do so really, when we're dealing with a megalomaniacal level insane throwing star son-of-a-bitch who's been making things extremely difficult for us of late," Laurel remarked.

Helena nodded. "I've heard about Prometheus and all the trouble he's caused since he first emerged," she acknowledged. Looking back to Oliver, a sense of heavy remorse now came over her face, "And I've also had time to consider your words to me from three years ago, Oliver, and you were right. I thought that killing my father for what he had done to me, to Michael, would give me some peace, that I'd be able to let go, but it didn't. And I've also come to regret what my actions did to your old girlfriend Detective Hall, her being caught in the crossfire of my thirst for vengeance, and having to leave in order to seek treatment. For that at least, in some way I still feel like I deserve to rot in a cell."

Oliver handed Thea's Katana to Laurel and approached Helena, Helena tensing herself, expecting a hit or at least a barrage of angry words, but instead Oliver reached out and laid his hands on her shoulders looking deep into her eyes. "I told you that time I saw you just after the SCPD had detained you, Helena, you would never be alone," he told her gently, "And as for what your Huntress actions have done before, yes, they'll never be forgiveable, especially when it came to threatening Tommy, injuring McKenna and threatening or killing plenty of innocent people on your quest for vengeance against your father. But now that that's over, you have the chance of beginning the fresh starting point I hoped you would get the chance of doing so before. And I forgive you."

Tears formed in Helena's eyes at hearing Oliver's word, having expected to hear the exact opposite, but any further conversation was cut off by an alarm sounding out from the computer, and Laurel hurried over to see what was wrong. After a few seconds, she looked up, a startled expression on her face. "Hate to break up the reunion, but we've got a problem," she said.

Later

Oliver, Helena and Laurel drove up to the overturned car on motorbikes. But as they got off and removed their helmets, there was no sign of Diggle, only a wrecked overturned car.

"John!" Oliver called out.

"They've taken him," Laurel said.

"Damn it!" Oliver shouted in frustration.

"Well from you and Laurel have told me of this bastard Chase, Oliver, he would've wanted him alive," Helena said gently, "You need to focus." She shook her head, "I'll give the son-of-a-bitch this much though, he's fifty moves ahead. Question is though: why the hell's he doing all this anyway?"

"He wants to leverage me into breaking him out of prison," Oliver explained.

Laurel and Helena were silent for a moment, then both realized the same thing, Laurel quicker than Helena. "And Thea's own life isn't sufficent leverage to him, Ollie?" Laurel asked incredulously.

Oliver whirled round to face them. "Do you two really think that Chase is gonna hold up his end of the bargain?" he demanded.

"Ok, fair point I guess," Helena said, "But there's gotta be something we can do surely?"

"A little while ago, I was worried that the personal connections I had were making me vulnerable because as long as there are people in my life that I care for, I have to be something else to protect them. That's something I can't leave in the past," Oliver said.

Helena shook her head. "That's not true, Oliver," she said, "From what our past with each other has taught me, you need to keep those you care about, but your relationships with them are what's gonna keep you alive."

Laurel nodded. "She's right, Ollie," she said in agreement."

"I'm not in the mood," Oliver growled as he walked past them.

"Human connections are what keep us human," Helena said as Oliver turned back to face her and Laurel, "I've learned that the hard way with being driven to want revenge on my father for Michael's death. You can't live on an island. You've already tried. But you're always gonna have people in your life, Oliver, and they will always need you, for better or worse, baggage and all. And if you can't accept it, your past is gonna stay your anchor."

Oliver's phone buzzed and he answered it, bringing it to his ear. "Yeah?" he answered with.

"Mr Queen," the man at the other end said, "The Marshals are here to transfer the prisoner. You said you wanted to know."

Oliver sighed. "Thank you. I'm on my way," he replied. He rang off and looked to Laurel and Helena.

"We are very capable people. And we are gonna find a way to rescue everyone," he said, before getting on his bike, putting his helmet on and driving away, watched by Laurel and Helena.

Later

Oliver fought the Marshals frantically after seeing the video call where he found out Chase had taken his son William. As three more surrounded him, two of them were hit by arrows from above, and a sonic scream, also from above, and which caused Oliver to grit his teeth, sent the last one flying. He looked up and saw Helena and Laurel standing on a bridge, Helena dressed once again in her old black and purple Huntress outfit and mask which she had obviously retrieved from where it had been stashed after she had been relieved of it three years ago, her hands clutching a brand new black crossbow of the TAC-15 type complete with sniper scope. Laurel wore her Black Siren suit.

"He just got more leverage, didn't he?" Laurel asked, "And important too."

"How do you know?" Oliver asked.

"It's what I'd do," Helena said, remembering the same sort of thing she had done on whoever when she had operated as the Huntress before. She tossed a duffel bag down to Oliver. "Here. And hurry, we could still be in time to catch them up."

The Marshals were all stood in position as the Huey helicopter (I've a good sharp eye for the makes they use, you know, haha) descended, some escorting Chase to it.

"Something funny, nutbag?" one of them asked upon seeing Adrian's smirk.

"Not yet," Adrian said, looking at them, "But soon."

As they continued escorting him, there was an explosion behind them and they started running. "See what I mean?" Chase asked the Marshal with a smirk?"

As the smoke cleared, an arrow flew out of it and hit a Marshal's gun, disarming him. Oliver, wearing a black mask and armed with his bow and arrows, Laurel and Helena ran out of the smoke. Together, the three of them fought the Marshals, taking them out with ease, Laurel holding back of using her scream and instead using her fists and legs, as the group at the front attempted to get Chase to the chopper. Oliver fired an arrow which embedded it in the ground in front of the remaining Marshals and Chase.

"We're compromised," one of them said over his radio, "Take the prisoner out." But at that moment, the arrow exploded and all but Chase were taken out.

One of the Marshals followed the new order and attempted to shoot Chase from above, but Chase avoided the shot which hit his cuffs instead, freeing him.

"They're targeting Chase," Oliver realized.

"Both of you go. I'll cover you," Helena said. The two nodded and ran after Chase, while Helena raised her crossbow, focused with the scope and shot the Marshal who was firing at Chase in the shoulder, taking him out. Then she turned and shot another who was aiming towards Oliver and Laurel in the shoulder as well, taking him out too.

As Chase reached the Huey, he took out the Marshal standing guard over it as Oliver and Laurel ran after him, Oliver throwing away his bow.

"Chase!" Oliver roared as he and Laurel reached him, Oliver grabbing Chase by the shirt and slamming him back against the helicopter.

"Thanks for the assist, pal," Chase said cheerfully.

"Where is my son?" Oliver yelled angrily and desperately, Laurel turning to him in shock, and then back to Chase in cold blooded fury. Oliver had told her he had a son, but to hear that he was the person whose kidnap had driven Oliver, her and Helena to do what they had just done, sickened her to the core.

"No, no," Chase said, "That wasn't the deal, Oliver. That wasn't the deal. I said, you let me go and I'd keep your loved ones safe, but I'm not gone yet."

Breathing heavily, Oliver released Chase and removed his mask, a broken expression on his face. Laurel's remained one of deep fury, her breath hissing between her clenched teeth.

"Why did you involve William? That's my boy," Oliver said emotionally.

"He's an innocent, you son-of-a-bitch," Laurel added for him.

"So was my wife. But you involved her," Chase pointed out, "I already told you, Oliver. Everyone that you care about suffers. Everyone." He turned, opened the door of the helicopter and clambered into the pilot seat.

"I'll see you on the boat," Chase smirked as he closed the door.

Oliver and Laurel stood where they were, confused as to what Chase meant, as the Huey flew up, the two of them watching it until it had disappeared from view.

Arrow lair, later

"OK. Chase's helicopter flew to an abandoned airfield in Dawn Valley, Utah," Oliver said as he, Laurel and Helena stood before the computer as they tracked Chase's movements on the screen, "Then five minutes later, this aircraft took off from the same field at a vetor of two-seven-zero."

"Due west. That would take him back here to Star City," Helena said.

Laurel shook her head. "Chase has gotta be more smarter than that," she added.

"He is. He must've turned off the transponder on the plane. Luckily for us, we've got access to a keyhole satellite which can track the heat signature of any aircraft in the world," Oliver explained.

"Impressive," Helena said, "Still can't believe you have a son really." Laurel had explained about William to her after Chase had made his departure.

"That's not relevant at the moment," Oliver muttered as the computer gave a beep, the two women turning back to it.

"You expecting someone, Ollie?" Laurel asked.

"Yes. Chase is working with Talia Al Ghul, Evelyn Sharp, a metahuman, Liza Werner, China White and Carrie Cutter, plus Talia's students," Oliver said.

"So you called for extra backup? Smart thinking," Helena nodded, then asked in curiosity, "But who exactly did you reach out to?"

Her answer was given as the lift door opened and an attractive brunette walked out.

"Husband," Nyssa Al Ghul greeted Oliver with.

Helena's eyebrows rose. "Husband, huh? You seem to have moved on pretty fast, Oliver" she remarked humouredly.

Oliver turned to her. "That's something to be told another time. In the meantime, Laurel, Helena, this is Nyssa Al Ghul. Nyssa, this is Laurel Lance of Earth 2..." Oliver gestured to Laurel, Nyssa raising an eyebrow at the 'Earth 2' usage, "...and Helena Bertinelli aka-"

"The Huntress." Nyssa nodded, "I know." Noticing the surprise on their faces, she smirked and she addressed Oliver. "I'm the daughter of the Demon, Oliver," she said, "Which makes it easy for me to know of those who have helped you, now and before." Then she changed the subject back to the matter at hand. "But that's that. What's going on?"

"One of the people we're about to go up against..." Laurel said, pausing as she considered what she was about to say, then did so, "...is your sister."

Nyssa was visibly shaken by this, but any further conversation was ended before it could be said by the computer beeping, and Oliver hurried over to it. "We have Chase's C-130," Oliver explained, "Flew out over the coast. Banked southerly 120 degrees, which means...which means..." he trailed off, unable to believe what the readings were telling him.

"What does it mean?" Nyssa inquired.

"I know where he's taking them," Oliver said in a low voice.

But before either of the three women could ask him of where he meant, the lift dinged again and they turned back to it. This time, two men, both dressed in black combat gear and boots, exited.

"How do, Queen," the one on the left, who was the older of the two, bald with a stubbly beard, said in greeting, "Hope we're on time."

Helena's eyes widened. "The Shaw brothers," she breathed. For that was who the two new arrivals were- Owen and Deckard Shaw, former enemies and now new allies of Dominic Toretto and his team of ex-convicts.

The younger of the two, Owen, with short black hair and a moustache, the left side of his face marked by an injury scar, looked over to her. "You know of us then, eh, Huntress?" Owen Shaw remarked.

Helena nodded. "I sure have," she answered.

Deckard, the older brother, looked to Nyssa. "Swapped the high octane palace living assassin's life for the more solitary wondering sort of life, have we, dear Nyssa?" he asked humouredly. Nyssa didn't say anything, but jutted her chin out in response to Deckard's remark.

"You're right on time, Owen and Deckard," Oliver said before a possible war of words could begin, "Thank you for coming."

"You said you needed help with a crazed maniac, you weren't gonna have us to say no to this," Owen said.

"So what lovely honeymoon hotspot are we scheduled to kick some ass on?" Deckard asked.

And there we are, chapter 1 of this new piece done already. Hope you all enjoyed it and ready and looking forward tremendously to what's to come.

Yep, it's our beloved Huntress girl Helena who is the one to have returned to help Oliver out here, and reunite with him too, instead of Malcy boy Merlyn, hope I did a good background explanation as to why. An Earth 2 Green Arrow figure as the one to do so has already been done by our great author members Aragorn II Elessar and Stand with Ward and Queen with their masterful pieces 'The Green Arrows United' and 'Green Arrow of two earths', so I wanted to do my own alternative to that idea here, and after some thought on the matter, who better amongst good Earth 1 candidates than Helena? Cos aside from typical asshole Arrowverse script writing turning Helena into a vengeance driven psychopath after some good chemistry happened between her and Oliver in their first episodes, she and him share a lot in common and had the potential of a great relationship. To this day, it's still totally undeniable that Helena is another case of typical bastardly Arrowverse waste after 2x17, and I miss her so much. Well, I have plans already well and truly thought of for her and Oliver in the chapters to come, a little bit of a hint already given here.

Regarding our Shaw bros Owen and Deckard, this is set just after FF 8, 'The Fate of the Furious', which along with all the others has run as it did, but, here Gisele Yashar survived FF 6 and continued her relationship with Han Lue, the two of them leaving the team and settling in Tokyo. Deckard Shaw still targeted Han for what the crew had done to Owen, but Han survived and managed to get out of his car before it exploded, however he knew that Dom, Letty and Brian and the rest would need to deal with Deckard, and for that to work he would have to lay low for a while till it was done. Which is what he did, Gisele helping with the ruse, until Deckard and Jakande had both been dealt with and it was safe for Han to reveal himself as being alive and not dead as everyone had been lead to believe him as. This little idea came to me only recently, cos Han and Gisele were such big favourites and I loved 'em together, so if I could keep them alive, well, Gisele that is, cos the Fast and Furious 9 trailer has shown Han to have seemingly survived and reuniting with Dom and the team for what's to come in that, but who knows what the twist with that could very well be, I would do it.

And there we are. Next chapter we officially begin the Arrow 5x23 drama so, with Deckard and Owen Shaw and Helena here as the additional back-uppers, I hope y'all highly excited and ready for it all. Until then, adios amigos, from Flashraven. And stay safe from the damn coronavirus, hopefully not it ain't too long for us all that the finish line and the much welcome end of this thing is in sight, thank fucking god (excuse the tongue)
