Jack x Carly love story

Gala Night

It was cold and gloomy night at the New Domino Event Center where everyone all over the world gathers to celebrate of course the man of the hour, Jack Atlas. Master of Faster, the man of tomorrow they say. He enters in the crowd as they cheer, he appears in his sequent suit made of silk, all white with purple details, a style cane and hat to top off the night and makes his statement about honoring himself and other duelist around. He sees everyone he knows there and of course his pals, Yusei and Crow. He wouldn't be who he is today if it weren't for his friends, determination for dueling and himself. After giving his speech he joins in with the crowd and observe many of people who attended until he was met to…. Well him,

"OOOH ATLAS" said Lazar

Atlas despise the sound, the appearance of this individual unfortunately he was one of the main people who put this gala together so the least Jack could do is listen to what he had to say

"What is it, Lazar?! Can I please enjoy the night without interruption" he said with no filter just being snippy while sipping on his wine

"I understand, Mr. Atlas, yet cannot escape muah, now on to the subject of when will ever go out and find love?!" He said as he notices Jack spits half of his wine on the floor freaking Lazar out

"Love?! Master of Faster does not have time for such nonsense" he said smirking

"Come now, Atlas, not saying to disrespect you in any way but we are not getting younger, maybe setting down sometime soon?! Find a suitor for you who meet-"cuts off by Jack's sneering

"Not a chance! Look I appreciate everything you had done for me and setting up this gala and all but here me out. Not ready to allow myself to find love right now. I thought I had when I was with Mina until she decided to leave out of nowhere and not letting anyone or me where she was going…. Since then I shut out love for good" he said with grief while watching people chatter and mingling as he was explaining himself to Lazar

After their brief discussion he turns away from Lazar leaving him speechless and begins to worry for Jack Atlas as he continues with the Gala with other guests.

Second Floor, Outside the Deck

Jack Atlas was alone just looking up to the stars and tries hard not to remember Mina at all. She broke him and everything he had. Took him a long time to come back to his form before he met her. What if finds someone else, will she leave too if she got too comfortable with the king of kings himself?! Jack beats himself for it and just losses it. He shed a few tears until he saw something that would change his life forever. In the garden home he sees a very lonely women sitting there her lonesome. Seems like shes sad or shy at the party and no one accompany her, so Jack decided to find the girl and see what he can do to cheer her up. He exits the deck and goes out to find her until,

"ahhh jack! I found you, I see you're trying to avoid the party or in this…case…" said Lazar in a confuse manner as jack is simply ignore him

"uhhh atlas hello?" he shakes until jack spoke

"Lazar, who's that girl?!" he questioned then shows him the girl outside

"Ah her! Carly Carmine. She's a editor at a local news paper thingy type… why?" he questioned

"Listen Lazar, I told you that I have no interest in finding love again and yet seeing her alone kinda wonders if she's going through what I am too… Lazar you think you can set something up for us?" He asks

Lazar had to look at the girl and him again which of course jack was a little irritated because he wasn't saying anything. Which Lazar had other thing he could do,

"Jack I am going to be honest with you. I think it's best you do this one your own, however, my dear boy if you decided to go talk to the girl I can arrange some kind of mood dancing for the both of you. I'll put it to you this away, if you really talk with this girl then go do it. I can't help you with that, but I'll help you romance her with music and lighting. I know it's been a while since mina and told me love was the last thing on your mind. Is this really what you want?! Think about it." He said patting jack on the back and heads back to the gala

Jack Atlas was a man of no emotion just action. Master of Faster in dueling, but not so much in his personal life. He always beats himself for it and needs to understand that to move on and be happy he must let go of mina and his dark past. Jack told Lazar's words to heart and it was time to let go. He walks out of the deck area and heads outside to find the girl

Garden Area

Carly watches from outside people dancing the night away as took a sigh of relief that she made it this far and just enjoy her night alone. She was done crying. She was done with everything and by far taking things well after her breakup with this guy she was seeing, Dylan. She really thought he was the one yet she doesn't know who will be anyone.

Jazz music started playing and Carly really dig this kind of music. Little does she know she did come with her friend, Misty, but she brought her date Kalin Kessler. They been seeing each other for quite some time and she's fond of them together. Just wish Carly had what they had, love. Carly then got up and starting to walk around the garden area seeing all the roses, sunflowers, and tulips her most favorite flowers. She listen to the music of the water dripping down the foundation by the flowers and find it so peaceful where she found herself again until she heard a voice,

"Hello" a man said

Carly turned around and she was shocked and surprise to see the man who she thought she would never meet or wanting to meet, Jack Atlas. She was afraid that he was going to do despicable things to her and she gasp and starts to run away into the rest of the garden just losing her shoe as she ran.

"Wait! stop come back" Jack shouted and runs after her

Carly ran and ran as fast as she could in a nice little lighting area where she looked around with stars and asks herself why or why things happen to me. She wishes upon the star hoping to find happiness again and just sat on the grass and took a breath of relief again until she heard footsteps and turns around to find him again. She had no where to go, she panics to find a way out but keeps herself calm and defense on her said until she notices he was holding her missing shoe and looks at him with confusion on why he would do that? She had to hear him out,

"You… found my shoe?" she asked as she backs up a little bit

"I did actually while catching my breathe here. Now then, don't be shy my dear. I won't hurt you. I just wanted to give you back your shoe and maybe… talk." He said with blushing all over his face as he walks towards her and later they met halfway looking into each other's glaze from afar.

She notices he has amazing lavender eyes with cuteness inside him. She later asks for her shoe and he apply to her request and put it on her as he bend down. Once he completed, he ask her to join him over the bench of flowers so they can talk. So, they did just that Carly never felt this open before, she ran away from this guy because she though he was pervert or something but she remembered this is Jack Atlas the master of faster of duel monsters. She felt like an idiot to think like that. They talk for a least good hour or so until jack brought something up,

"Carly, hearing you today just gave me the courage to find myself again and I did just if I didn't meet you, not sure where I be now" he said as massage his own neck

"Thank you, Jack. I mean I never realized you had a very eventful and heartbreaking experience with this mina person and me well mine's was unfaithful and stuff which I told you that. Overall, I do enjoy being around you. I know we just meet and all, but I really think there is something special about you, Jack and I want to get to know you better if you let me" she said as she shrugs her shoulders

Jack really adores this woman and has never felt this way for a long time, it was time he thought and he started to open up and takes both her hands and bring them into his to hold with grace and unity. Carly blushed and yet she never felt this way before either,

"I knew my wish come true, Carly, *Carly felt confused* because I was wishing upon a star earlier in hopes to find happiness and warmth again and it came true because I found you." he said has he cups his hands to her face, Carly blushed once more

"Jack…I…" she said with pressure of shyness kicking in but she touches his hands while his was still on her face

"Carly, would you like to have this honor in dancing with me at the gala tonight? I want to show you off to everyone and let them know that… I found happiness and hope again" he said as he stands up and awaits for his response with a simple hand offering to take her hand.

Carly saw this man with hope and yet odd. She doesn't know if she wants to take the chance yet because of everything happened so far. Life was short and with a smile on her face he accepts his hands and heads back to gala and talk again on the way back. Little did they know Lazar thought of this plan for a while and didn't let jack know about it. He congrats himself on this victory and quickly heads back to the gala

Once they enter inside the gala everyone looked around and stare at the couple as a carly blushes from head to toe as Jack did his best to hold her arm in grace. Some of the girls were crying obnoxiously, some where hissy fitting, and others looks at them with excitement and disgusted because they want Jack to go for a high-class woman, yet he didn't give a damn. Later Lazar came up to the stage made his speech about the pair and then out of no where the music starting to play

"Yes" she replied

They got to the dance floor get into position and then jack takes the lead and dances the night away but what did Carly notice that Misty was singing on stage which she left safe knowing as long as Carly has Misty and Jack, nothing can stop her as their dancing continues,

Jack really admire Carly for being beautiful and really he sees nothing but her in his future and a girl worth to fight for. He leads her with grace and place kisses on her cheeks and keeps going as Carly giggles inside her head as they dance away.

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers

And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends

The music and couple paused for a moment as Jack looks at her with love and happiness in his heart and never thought he could find someone else again. It was time he realized to make his statement and feelings come true even though they just met but he knows it's the risk to take and plants a kiss on the lips to Carly as the audience, Misty gasps as Lazar gave the look of 'knew it' impression. Jack lets go of the kisses and turns to signal Lazar to keep going and Lazar did so and told misty and the band to keep playing and while Jack and Carly dance away to the exit as the music is about to end

(Music Resume, Misty Sings)

Everyone whistles and cheer the couple as they did good with their waltz and as for Jack and Carly they resume their kiss when Jack took her to the nearest private bridge they could find with moonlight brightening their romance once more,

"Well, what did you think?" he said feeling jittering yet happy inside as he rest his head on her shoulder

"Honestly, that was just magical, Jack, yet I do not know about us" she lets go of his grasp and looks away to the exit until Jack took her arm,

"You can't. You can't leave. I want to see you again and again for the rest of my life"

"I get that, Jack, But we just met and I want to get to know you. Kiss was special, nice and all perfect I just don't know if us being together in this fast pace would be wise" Carly said with fear

He turns her around kissing her deeply once more, holding her close into the moonlight which Carly knew that Jack made it perfectly clear about his feelings towards her. He lets go of the kiss and looks into her eyes,

"You're right, Carly. About everything (places his hands on her face) I want to get to know you. We can go any pace you want as long as we don't lose each other. I feel safe, loved and guarded around you. I feel whole once more, give me this opportunity to show you just who I am and I promise I'll do whatever it takes to make you stay with me. I want to grow with you, Carly if you let me" he said with pride

Carly notice that he didn't lose sight of her. She could not believe this man is serious about her and took her statement to heart which she didn't think he would. Carly knew that if they are going to processed into a relationship then she will take the chance,

"Okay, Jack. I am willing to take this chance" which that is all Jack need to hear from here as they plant one more kiss to the lips to seal the night then take off to the garden where they were at before and end the night filled with love and hope.
