A long time has passed. Now, I call to you.
Wake up, child. Bring our lost stars home.
Chapter 1: Fallen Down
"If only they had listened..."
Light. Brighter than all memory. I cracked my eyes open and tried to stand up, only for a splitting headache to hit me.
"*Ugh, what the hell..." I groaned. Then I froze. The voice speaking wasn't mine.
"*What is this place?" Another voice.
"*I can't feel my legs..." Yet another.
*...
At the exact same moment, multiple voices began freaking out. Inside my head. AT. THE. SAME. TIME.
"SHUT UP, SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU, SHUT UP!" One of the voices suddenly screamed.
Finally, silence.
"Uh... hello?" I asked.
"*Are you the one in control?" Judging by their voice, I guessed this was the same person who had screamed for us to shut up a few moments ago.
I looked at my hand. "I guess."
"*Where are we?" A different voice this time.
"How am I supposed to know?"
I took a second to compose myself. "Okay, maybe if you guys could be quiet for a while more, I could figure out where on earth we are..."
As I looked around, I realised I was in some sort of cavern. Sunlight was streaking down from a hole way up above me as I stood in a patch of golden flowers. Wait... golden flowers?
Uh-oh.
I spun around, and my eyes widened as I saw an unconscious person sprawled on the flowers a few meters behind me. They had shoulder-length brown hair and wore a blue and purple striped shirt.
"Frisk?" I whispered.
"*You know them?"
"I guess you could say that."
Undertale. I'm in Undertale? How is this even possible? I pinched myself, and a throbbing pain told me I was definitely awake.
"*I think we can hear you, actually..." a much more polite voice pointed out.
Oh.
"*It's fine. Explain later."
I looked down and realised I was wearing jeans and a grey hoodie, complete with a black and white scarf. Just as I noticed that, a pixellated text box flashed into existence in front of me, just like the menus in the game.
ZILLOW
HP 20/20
ATK 1
DEF 1(2)
WEAPON: NONE
ARMOUR: P-SCARF
STAT/ITEM/HP
"*Zillow? That's a nice name."
"Uh, thanks..." I muttered as I moved my hand to the scarf I was wearing. How is it even counted as armour? Then again, other armour items in undertale included ribbons and bandages, so I decided not to question that.
Prismatic Scarf
DEF 2
*More than it seems.
"Dosen't look very 'prismatic' to me..." I muttered as I looked at the monochromatic scarf on my neck.
*no shit.
To my surprise, together with the voice in my head that just spoke, orange text had appeared at the bottom of my menu.
*Well, that's new.
This time, the text that appeared was purple.
"Hey, uh... could all of you say something?" I silently requested.
*Sure.
*Hello.
*Okay.
*Hi!
*Greetings.
So there are five of them. Each of their responses were in different colours.
"Say, what are your names? Since we're stuck this way and all." I said, trying to sound positive.
*Ink. Nice to meet you!
*My name is Rasmus.
*Flamberge.
*I'm Jeston...
*I'm Orion.
Green. Purple. Orange. Yellow. Cyan.
Assuming I remembered correctly, those were the colours of the other human souls, which each represented a certain human trait. Green stood for KINDNESS, purple for PERSEVERANCE, orange for BRAVERY, yellow for JUSTICE and cyan for PATIENCE.
"Well, it's nice to meet you all. I'm Zillow."
At that moment, my mind was dragged away from my new companions to the other human who had just woken up and begun to stare at me.
"You..."
Author's note:
[First of all, if you've read this far, I'd just like to say thanks. This is my first fanfic, so suggestions and constructive criticism is welcome. I don't have an exact upload schedule, but I can promise at least one chapter every 2-3 days or so. Once again, Thanks for reading! Follows or favourites would be appreciated.]
[I'll probably edit this chapter someday- I'm not really pleased with how it turned out.]
