AN: Hello! It has been a looooong time since I've written a fanfiction and I'm so excited to bring you this one. I absolutely love Draco and Hermione together. This is the second one of Harry Potter I've written and I'm still getting readers on the first one which was over five years ago! Please enjoy this new fan fiction. I don't own Harry Potter, I just make up stories with the characters.

Draco peered into the dim halls of Hogwarts as he was finishing his rounds. Soft foot falls echoed off the empty stone walls as Hermione came to stand beside him. The two prefects' heads snapped to the sound made in the broom closet near them. Draco ripped it open to find two fifth year Ravenclaw students wrapped in one another's arms. Their eyes are as large as saucers.

"Ten points from each of you," Hermione said through pursed lips. "Now go to bed." The couple scrambled out of the closet and hurried down to their house. Both prefects watched.

"I think you scared them," Draco said.

Hermione looked at him indignantly and crossed her arms. "It wasn't me," she said. "You ripped that door forcefully to scare them on purpose. You enjoy scaring the daylights out of students."

Draco shrugged. "What can I say, it's entertaining."

Hermione shook her head and started to walk forward. "You have a strange form of entertainment," She said. She was suddenly yanked into a nearby classroom. She was pushed against the rough stone wall near the door. Muscular arms trapped her head as Draco pressed his body against her.

"I thought you liked my entertainment," he said, moving his head close to hers.

"I do," she said as she pushed up on her tiptoes and captured his lips. Draco's hands slid down her soft form to her hips as her own hands went around his neck, their bodies flush.

"Gods I love kissing you," Hermione said as they came up for air.

Draco smirked. "I know." He winced when she pushed him away and playfully slapped his arm. "I love you too."

"You know, summer holiday starts next week. Are we going to be able to see each other during the holiday?"

"I hope so. I can't go three minutes without seeing your beautiful face."

"Flaterer," she said.

"But nonetheless true. I'm so glad you punched me in third year. I wouldn't have realized how much I loved you until then."

"So I should punch you more often?" She smiled.

He kissed her again. "I don't think you have to anymore." The two stayed in the classroom snogging before they agreed it was getting late. Draco escorted Hermione to her house portrait entrance and gave her another kiss before she entered.

The red Gryffindor room was quiet with only the sound of the crackling fire. Orange and red light from the hearth casted shadows against the walls. Hermione tiptoed across the red plush carpet.

"Hermione?" Harry's voice said quietly from the floor in front of the fireplace.

Hermione squeaked out in surprise as her hands covered her mouth.

"Why are you coming in so late?" He asked quietly.

She steadied her breath. "I was doing rounds."

He quirked his eyebrows up at her. "At one in the morning?"

"Is it that late? I had no idea. There were a lot of students out after curfew, with the holiday coming next week." At that statement, Harry's face fell. "What's wrong?" She came around the couch and sat down on the floor with him.

"I have to go back to my aunt and uncle's next week." He said quietly. She was well aware of his horrible family.

"I'm sorry Harry. I'm sure my parents will let you stay with me this summer."

He smiled at her for a moment then his face became puzzled. "You smell like Malfoy's cologne," he said.

Hermione tensed and steeled her expression. "I was doing rounds with him."

"But you wouldn't smell like him if it was just rounds and this isn't the first time either."

Her eyes widened slightly.

"How long have you been seeing him?" There was no anger in her best friend's voice.

"Since September," she said as she looked at the flames, almost ashamed at not telling him sooner.

His eyes watched the flickering flames. "That makes sense." Her eyes snapped back to his face and smiled. "You've been much more happy this year and Malfoy hasn't been as much of a git to you or me." A smile pulled on his lips as he looked at her. "Just know if he hurts you, I will hurt him."

Hermione smiled. "I would expect nothing less." She wrapped her arms around her brother and held him tightly for a few moments.

"Please let go," he said. "It smells like I'm hugging Malfoy." The two laughed and agreed to go to bed.
