Chapter 1

And it begins

My name is Alex White I'm a high school student at Earnest White Memorial High, named after my father who passed when I was six years old. Ever since then I've been supporting my family at least what's left of it. In early September of last year my mother and older brother were involved in a massive terrorist attack by the infamous group S.B.G . "Alex? Alex wake up" "I'm up, I'm up" I said as I widened my eyes, they set to the bright lights of the classroom and noticed everyone in my class staring at me. As the bell chimes I walk out to the halls as they flood with students. The stoners, the goths and most cautiously the quiet kids, the cliques of Earnest High. As I open the side entrance door a chilling breeze hits my face and I'm reminded of the fact that it's still this cold in May. I walk up to a narrow and elongated hill I sit under the birch tree. As I am about to fall asleep, I hear a voice "Alex?" I slowly squinted my eyes to awaken "Yes oh hey Ash" I say with a stutter in my voice "Hello mind if I sit here" Ash says "Of course" as I move my bag to the side, she sits against the tree twiddling her fingers "Hey, so uh, did you hear that Jackson Adani threatened to 'exact vengeance today' whatever that means" she suddenly freezes as her face turns white as she stares, noticing Tim's car pull into the parking lot of the school as several follow behind as she jumped up I realized "Run Ash now" I stutter "What why?" Ash says with fear in her eyes "Just trust me alright" I yell out. She runs from the school, the thunder of a bullet echoes through the still air. I head towards a nearby memorial statue and lightly tap on the family insignia then twist the statue's head as a locker rises from the ground and opens up to reveal an elevator. I step in and it shoots into the ground, the door opens up I press an engraving behind the elevator opens up to reveal a massive armoury full of weapons and a suit as I grabs my jaw and breaks it off and replaces it with another one to reveal cybernetic enhancements and suits up, a loud bang rang out as a teacher falls to the ground with blood soaking into her leather coat. The students scream out in terror as I break through the window cutting through a space in my armour as the small piece pierces me. I go to take out Tim by throwing his head onto a nearby student's desk and leaping as I stomps on his head. I run through the halls. Getting to the end of the hall I noticed the S.B.G surrounding the school. AsI'm getting fired at I run up the wall with ease and fire two glock 19's taking two guards leaving one standing, disarming the guard. I backed up then took out my empty clip, threw it away and fetched a full clip from my chest pocket. kicking it into the air I leap and roll onto the ground, inserting the clips with ease. Swiftly shooting the terrorist's knee as soon as the terrorist kneels to the ground, blood spurting out his knee I hit him with the back of the gun. Bolting towards the photography room seeing a terrorist about to brand a student I punch the terrorist's jaw loose pulling out my phone and takes a photo with the terrorist " Say cheese" I say as I shoot the terrorist in the back of the head " Oops I think I blinked as I laugh "Hey girl the name's Blood what's yours" I said with a akward smile on my face " Sorry I'm a lesbian that's why he was trying to brand my hand" with a blank stare I say "oh" I go to the red room as a man with a suicide vest runs at me directly. Before it detonates I throw a titanium shell over the terrorist. Before a student looks into the room, the mysterious being is gone . As I sit on a desk in the armoury I slowly pull out bullets from my back, screaming out in agony, get up from the desk and walk to a sink to wash my face and switch my prosthetic jaw out. "Alex Alex!" Ash screams out "Ash?" I say but, before I can say anything else Ash wraps her hands around me tightly "Your alive" she exclaims "Of course. Where did you go?" struggling to say something thousands of things are racing across my mind, before I can say a word I hear a click from behind Ash pushing her out of the way flipping the assailant over and kicking him in the head. Just as I'm about to waste this lowlife, I look to my right I see the fear in Ash's eyes. I put the man in handcuffs and called the police "So you're him the vigilante" Ash says . "Yes I…" but, before I could say anything she wrapped her hands around me much tighter than before "So where's your base?" As we step out of the elevator I press a button on the back of a desk, a massive room opens up and my little sister walks out. "I'm back" I said, "Brother!" she exclaims she notices Ash right beside me pulling out an ASP pistol "Who the hell is she?" "Relax she's my-" before I finish my sentence she softly says "Girlfriend" "Yeah that sure" I sutter. "Oh I see anyway, I'm Alex's little sister Julia" she lowers the pistol "Nice to meet you Julia" Ash replies, "Likewise" Julia nods "Oh I have a surprise for you, Ash come with me" I punch a random vent gate it opens up to reveal a garage full of cars. "I know you like cars, so pick one" She walks up to a Jeep Wrangler. "You want to go for a ride?"

Chapter 2

An unforgettable night

We pull into the drive-in theater and we notice a woman getting mugged by a bunch of lowlifes. I whistle the lowlifes fall to the ground and run in fear as my monogram appears from thin air "Cool right?" I said "Yeah cool" Ash replies. We hop out of the car and climb on top of the car roof laying a blanket on it. We laugh as the actors on the screen make funny remarks, my eyes shift to her eyes slowly wrapping my arm around her. We both looked at each other's eyes. I think to myself 'What if I lean closer' running my fingers through her thick black hair, eventually our lips meet for a moment. It began to feel like that me and her were the only ones in the lot for a short while. We back up, leaping off heading to a nearby arcade. I notice a dusty arcade cabinet in the darkly lit corner of the room, the lights slowly flicker. It's crowded with people taking pictures of their food, posting them on social media and then throwing the food out into an overflowing plastic garbage bag. I insert two quarters into the machine powering up, bright lights shine the lettering 'Sparcade A New Adventure' as I am examining it, I get nostalgic flashbacks of me playing this with my late brother. A single tear rolls down from my face. As Ash and I are slaying monsters I think of the power of nostalgia, how the media cashes off of it many times it almost gets annoying but, we all know we will watch it no matter the repetitiveness. While Ash and I are getting lost in the arcade game, a man with bags under his eyes shuffles towards the cashier he slowly reaches for his pocket, I could see a silver gleam from where he is reaching "May I" I said as I tapped on the perpetrators side he notices his skin is greyish, sipping the rest of my soda "You may just don't pull anything kid" "Can me and my friend leave" I said already knowing his answer "Yes but, the girl stays. Got that kid?" I nodded "I can live with that okay bye , i look back at her with that same shine in her eyes as I run off towards behind the arcade as I suit up I put my hood on as I walk in 'hey you on your knees hands behind your head' the clearly drunk criminal say's while slurring mid sentence as I comply he starts bickering about the elderly cashier being slow he aims his pistol to the head of an innocent girl ' hey you do you want to die' I start laughing uncontrollably 'hey shut your trap kid ! the criminal stutters yet again

' her just had to be her as I push a button on my bracelet while my arms are still on my head as I push down on it the button glows a faint yellow my armour envelopes around my body as I stand up I pull out a retractable baton as i extend it the man who's aiming at Ash he suddenly turns around ' hey kid don't try to be a hero' as I continue to laugh ' hey kid is you deaf oh so you want to play smart huh we'll see what happens to "heroes" as he puts the barrel of his gun to my head as he cocks it I " He stutters as the gun clicks as I pull the barrel to my head it clicks once more go on tell me what really does happen to heroes, as i smile 'what the hell what did you do kid , the drunkard says , the better question is what happens to the bad guys as i quickly take it and load it back I quickly pushed the gun to his head as it is pointed to his ear ' this is what happens to heroes oh and by the way you left it on safety I say while flicking the safety off and shooting his ear as he falls to the ground I quickly bandage his ear as as the blood covers the bandage 'game over man ' I said as I whipped him in the face with the baton as he lays on the ground I could see his breath in the cold air as I helped Ash up ' my hero is what i would say if you wasted that bastard so for now thanks for saving my life as she nudges me as I almost fall over as she quickly catches me oh and this date went from hundred to zero to think I liked you as she let's me fall she walks way ' are you okay sir?' the cashier says with a smile across his face physically yes thank you as I push the yellow light on my bracelet my armour retracts my costume comes off before I walk away I hand him some money to deal with the damages and a new arcade machine I run to a nearby tree i lay the blanket onto the grass

As I lay/ down I hear a faint voice calls out to me ' hey look maybe I was a little harsh the voice said as I could tell who it was it's Oak "well I kind of deserved it " I said while laughing once again she snickers and lays down with me " so what's your story" Oak says " with a smile on her face, " my mother and brother died in the Red city bombing while we were visiting at a theme park down at the pier I was one of the only survivors of that night it was hell on earth people screaming, crying fire and bodies all around me i don't want to think of it but i can't help it and some of the victims I knew personally you know the feeling of fear has left me ever since ' oh I see Oak says as her smile slowly fades away she squeezes my hand as we stand up and roll up my wool blanket we walk into the driveway and get in the chilled car

" so you explained your past there's one thing I'm wondering, " Ash says " oh yeah and what is that " I said with a smile on my face " what the hell happened to your jaw " she said as the car got quiet " A piece of debris hit my face then next thing you know i'm in a hospital with half a jaw and a piece of my ear gone ' as

we drive to my house we lay on the bed I put my arm around her as our hands intertwined we fall asleep I awaken and start making breakfast as i finish and put it on the table Oak comes from the bedroom wearing one of my sweaters ' Morning sleepy head ' I say As she yawns I laugh as me and her sit down i get a notification Its my alarm my heart drops we have to get to school as i quickly grab the keys to a random car i unlock a maserati and drive to the school I drift into the parking lot as i change and Oak does too into our uniforms I jump out and see my friends getting picked on by some bully as i tap his shoulder and clear my throat , I don't have time for this jeremy i'm offly too tired' i said As he swings I catch his arm and put it behind his back and plant him down , listen i can break your arm in four different places so i'm going to go easy as i snap his thumb he screams out in pain " everyone is surrounding me with their phones out I reach for my bag I see Jake picking it up hey thanks for the assist Alex ' my friend jake says 'so are you and Oak a thing now ' he says as I straighten my tie ' i guess you could say that ' she's like super' he stops as i clench my fists she's super what jake' she's super nice jake stutters " so is it a day A or B I said as i put my earphones in day B i think" as I go through the day a loud scream echoes through the halls I find ash getting harassed by the guy from earlier seems he has a cast on his thumb as i walk up to them he grabs her arm and pins it to the locker as he pulls out a switchblade ' I know you that's Alex's friend let this be a letter to him as he swings for her neck i grab his arm and twist his damaged thumb as i see him reach for his side i go for the knife and grab it as he's trying to fire at me I throw the knife as it lands on the dull side knocking him down as i leap on him and grab his collar I tap his nose " boop" as I help him up he walks to his friends I run over to Ash " im okay thanks for the help," she says as me and Ash walked to the car she asks me why I didn't kill him " I couldn't have i was not in my suit' true by the way thanks for saving me ' she says as she squeezed my hand tightly' what's up girl, it's Jeremy and his crew walks over as he pushes me into my car , maybe Ash should go with A real man as I signal her to run, his hand grabs the back of her hoodie and drags her back, I laugh as he asks " why you laughing boy "

As A smile shows from ear to ear , it's always her very well , as I push his hand off of her and twist it around his arm I snap his wrist as one of his friends swings I go to the side and grab his face and bash it against the asphalt at full force another one tries to low blow me as I catch his hand and then kick his knees and palm strike his nose as all of his friends limp away I pick jeremy up and tap his nose ,boop, as I break it and throw him into a nearby bush he spits out blood , your a dead man , sure buddy I said as we head home I hear A knock at the door as it gets louder and louder i reach for my walther p 89 i open the door to see a man with a gun with the barrel pointed at my face as I quickly kick the gun out of his hand i open palm struck him causing his heart to stop abruptly as he falls down i notice hundreds of men surrounding my house as i close the door and put it into breach mode as I order Ash to go downstairs i suit up into my new Armour with wrist mounted darts and with an auto reload saiga 12 auto shotgun fit with interchangeable scope as i jump out of the house my turrets begin to start working by taking out more than half of the assailants until a masked man fires at it

Chapter 3

World war Me

I leap at the masked man snapping his neck and jumping off of him as I shoot a hole into one of the terrorists heads i kick a grenade in the hole as it blows up i notice that was the last of them I ran into the house and jumped downstairs as I could see Ash being held hostage by jeremy " so you're the masked bastard that keeps ruining our plans " he says with a stern voice "slide em over now!

As I slide my shotgun over to him it trips him so I leap off a nearby chair and slammed his head into a car windshield as I search his pockets I find pictures of me and Ash from the theater and the hill and me at the statue I pocket them as we go and lay on a nearby bed I fire at the bully and double tap him as ash wraps her arms around me as tears fall from her eyes he was a monster he did incomprehensible things ' she yells out as I squeeze tighter I notice hand marks from her back " hey what are those I asked' Like I said incomprehensible things she said as I hugged her tighter ' wait he did th- ' i stopped my sentence realizing the heinous thing he did as we walk upstairs I fell asleep with her in my arms " hey wake up come on" Ash says while shaking the fabric linen bed

" I'm up I'm awake I said while sitting up as we walk to the jeep I notice A note in one of the terrorist's pockets as I kneel down to pick it up I read it the blood covered note says" kill the vigilante and save my daughter as I read it I reach for my glock nineteen I point it at Ash " what the hell Alex put that down" your father is the head of A terrorist group explain! I yelled out "I was going to tell you sooner I'm sorry I ran from home long ago after my father murdered my sister and my ex

As tears fall down her face I throw the gun away I pull her into my arms with my leather jacket getting wet from her tears I back up and get into the jeep"here you drive I said while passing the keys to her as we are driving I grasp her hand and tell her "it's going to be alright " as we arrive to the school I noticed police tape surrounding the perimeter as I go through I see the body of my friend Jake I run to his body and I hold his cold body in my arms as tears fall down my face I scream out into the blood soaked halls of the school as I walk through the school with tear drops continuously falling from my face I see many other teachers and students bodies " no! This can't be I looked back as I noticed A note in Jake's sweater pocket I took out as it reads , if you can't capture my daughter kill them all " as I hear a voice cry out'' Alex help please! Ash yells out as I notice a man dragging her away into a car as they drive off I jump in my car and chase after them as i press a button on my bracelet and my costume envelopes around me I shoot out the left front and back tires as it drifts to the corner i shoot out my windshield and jump out as the terrorists come out i run towards them and bash one of their heads onto a nearby railing

Then I kick the other assailant as I see Ash come out of the car one of the terrorists hit her with the back of a pistol as she falls to the ground I jump onto the hood of A car I bash his head into the concrete road as he struggles to get up i put his teeth against A curb " where's your base of operations" I screamed at him he says " three forty two king avenue Now please spare me" I snicker " yeah sure" as I knew his head into the curb and blood comes pouring out of his mouth I pick Ash up unto my arms and put her in the passenger seat of my car as I reach home I put her in A bed as I lay with her " those bastards took jake's life' as I walk downstairs I go into A soundproof room goddamn it I scream out while punching a hole through my wall I walk to the bathroom and jump in the shower as blood falls from my scratches and scars unto the floor

I see Ash walking into the washroom "mind if I join" she says with a glare in her eyes "of course " I said while playing with my hair as she walks in I get butterflies in my stomach as I leaned into her our lips meet with blood still coursing from my back as I back up she says those fateful words " I love you" as we back out and dry up I notice A scar on my lip as I leave I get dressed " want to order take out ' I say with a smile on my face but before she can say anything the doorbell rings and it's a teenager with chinese food in his hands as I hand him A wad of bills for the tip I send him off as we watch A film

As I am watching it i realize it's the sequel to the movie we watched when we met as we both fall asleep I realize she's not there as I read a nearby note it reads " I went to grab some coffee be back in a few'

As I notice A loud sound coming from the door as I open it i get hit and knocked out with a lead pipe

Chapter 4

And so it begins

I awaken with a camera pointed at me and heavily armed terrorists surrounding me I recognized this place kirby adams memorial hospital as one of them begins to speak " hello world we are the sbg and we would like to teach you what happens when you try to play hero " as one of them swings a lead pipe over my jaw prosthetics and it falls they all laugh around me the terrorist says " now lets see

The world must know what the SBG are all seeing unlike him your famed hero " as I see the terrorist grabbing a push dagger

But before I could say anything they drive the dagger through my already bleeding eye as I scream in agony as another one begins to grab a brander and brand my cheek in the SBG insignia I scream out once more, you bastards! You won't get away with this damn it" as I spit out blood I hear a thud sound coming from the other room of the abandoned hospital as one of the men go to investigate one of them cuts a slit over my eye then they take turns swinging at me with brass knuckles I hear a loud thud than the last as i see Ash running in with two glocks and taking everyone in the room out

As she grabs the bloody dagger and cuts the zipties over my arms and legs "and I thought you were amazing enough, " I said with a smile on my face with blood dripping from my left eye as I wrap it with nearby bandage cloth we run towards the car once we get in we drive off " oh by the way your house was destroyed she said with fear in her eyes as I push a button and the car says " auto drive on "

As it speeds off into the drive in theater we go into the arcade as I press a button on a hidden arcade cabinet a door opens up revealing stairs going down as we go down we see a bunch of arcade cabinets as Ash plays the night away I work on new weapons while bandaging myself up and putting on my real jaw as I lay on my bed Ash leans over me and I see the twinkle in her eyes shining off the nearby lamp as she leans closer our lips meet as i turn her over to the bed as we keep our lips connected later that night we drift to sleep as I wake up and see her putting her thick brown hair into a ponytail

" morning to you Ash" i said as i smirked " morning to you as well was last night fun " she said with a big smile on her face " other than getting vigorously tortured and beaten yes last night was pretty cool

" I said while we both laughed about it ' yeah we played arcade games and drifted the night away ' she said with that smile still on her face' "so what's the reason of this bunker anyways " she said " it is in case my house gets destroyed as well as my school " I said

"What do you mean?" she said as I guided her to a room with a robot as I tapped its head it turned on and for the rest of the day we had a normal school day as I trained for the big day where i take out the big leader as I accidentally punch a hole clean through the punching bag

As I see Ash in the other room with a dog "who's that little puppy '

I said " her name is Harley he's a pug as I pet the dog we hang around her and watch films with dogs in it as I throw treats in his direction he catches all of them as me and ash laugh at the dogs on the screen as we fall asleep Harley leans on me I woke up by Harley licking my face " stop it puppy stop " as Ash sees me and laughs her head off as I get up Harley follows me as we all have breakfast I map out areas of interest such as out posts and hideouts as I say bye to harley and ash as I suit up and jump on my shadow cycle I park near the first outpost and get my guns ready as i cock my guns and run in I throw a smoke grenade and swiftly take everyone out in the room then I head downstairs and throw a flashbang and throw knives at them as the room envelopes in blood I run to A nearby computer and stick in my usb as it scans through then marks it as my new Hideout I drive to the next location as I can see men with turrets awaiting me as I free run onto a nearby building and rappel myself halfway down as I fire my sniper rifle and eliminate the turrets then rappel to the building and punch the last remaining one while falling through the air I jump down whilst chucking my usb at the computer and making another marker I head home to see Ash training with Julie as Ash swiftly takes her down I clapped " great job Ash " I said while picking Julie up unto her feet

Chapter 5

The end of the beginning

As me and Ash go to sleep with my arm around her i fall asleep

As I wake up I notice a man sitting on a chair in the corner I realize it's one of the leader's commanders as I put one between his eyes with a silenced hardballer he went limp as a recording played We have your sister come get her as I leap out of the bed and put on my new suit and head out as I jump in my impala and drive off I instantly take out the two guards in the front by bashing their heads into concrete then I fire a hole through the door and throw a smoke grenade as im cutting my family insignia into their stomachs as I find her I was too late she was dead with her neck cut "No! This can't be no god damn it no! As tears fell down my face I held her in my arms I picked her up and put her in the back of my car and drove home " hey Alex did you find Ju- " she could see her in my arms and my tears falling down my face. " Oh my god she stutters shaking and crying she sits down in disbelief as I lay Julie's body down on a table I wrap her in my arms with Ash crying on my shoulder As Harley nudges my arm " there you are Harley " Ash says with a small grin on the side of her face as we fall asleep there on the cold marble floor I awaken by Harley licking me once again as I see Ash next to a clipboard planning something out as I stand up I see she's about to plan an attack on of the heaviest bases as we plan for hours on end we then sat down sat in the kitchen as I made dinner we finished up and then went to bed "hey Ash " I said "yes alex" Ash said "everything will be alright" I said she then smirked and leaned closer to me

Wrapped her arms around me then we fell asleep as the birds sang and the morning dew shined unto the room I woke up with Ash sleeping beside me today is january sixth twenty twenty one my birthday as I prepare a mountain of pancakes and also prepare lemonade I see Ash go into the room " morning sleepy head " I said

As she wraps her hands around me and our lips meet

" it's my birthday today " I said with a huge smile on my face

" then happy birthday now let's go kick some ass " Ash says as I pick my leather jacket on and replace my bracelet

As we drive to an abandoned building and break through the door I wall run then jump on a guy's neck and snap it I press on my bracelet it shines a red colour as A mask envelopes around me and a thick plate of armour slides against my shirt we continue running through Ash stops and throws a smoke grenade as she's about to get shot I jump in the way and and it strikes a space in my armour I fire a round at the assailant and take him out as I fire behind me then Ash slides and trips a terrorist commander and sticks A knife on both of his hands and then shoot his feet then I climb atop A nearby table and jump and push the knives into his hands then jump off as Ash puts a thermite grenade on his chest now tell me how many more outposts are left or this fun toy will burn through- , five there is five and the main headquarters is in Oakland that's all i'm saying and some advice don't act like you're in a show or book with those one liners ' thanks for the advice as I pull the pin and then walk off and get in the car as I walk in I see A cake in the shape of A dog reading happy birthday Alex As Ash puts her arms around me and squeezes tightly " careful you know two of my ribs are broken " I said as we finish up and head to the bed I fall asleep but I awaken with the sound of a gunshot as i grab my stg I run to the other room to see a group of thugs in a car fire at Harley I fire at them but then realize the glass is bulletproof as I run directly at them I put on A prototype for a new glove i put it on as I jump on my car then punch clean through the windshield of the assailant's car and throw them out as I put a brick on the accelerator then handcuff the thug to the car with razor wire cuffs as it drives off

I run to Harley's aid as the lovable family dog dies in my arms

I fall to my knees with tears running down my face with Harley's

Cold dead body in my arms the colour of his body turning white As i stand up I drag myself down to the bunker as I see Ash's smile quickly turns to tears As I lay down Harley unto his bed the wool bed slowly gets enveloped by blood as I walk into the washroom and clean my hands I see a shell casing I just throw it away the next day " damn you look like a mess" I said to Ash she Quietly walked to me and jammed her fist into my face

' I laugh "

Chapter six

The big one of the book

a smile develops on my face as im smiling from ear to ear I stand back up i'm kidding ouch my ribs I squeeze her tightly into my arms as I ready up for one of the last outposts of the group as i'm riding the bike there i realize i forgot my guns " guess we're doing this with our hands my favourite " I said while pulling into a nearby parking lot I run over to a nearby car and see them heavily armed some of them with suicide vests ' damn this always has to happen' as I pray and run in and throw a knife at one of the goons then use that knife to slit the other man's neck as I take them out one by one

I notice two heavily armed Men I bolt towards them then jump and drive my psalm into their heads as they hit the brick wall of the abandoned building I see a man who looked familiar it was Jake but had A new arm as he cut A civilian's arm in half swiftly with a karate chop as I charge at him he cuts a slit on my chest as I knee him in the back of the head he falls to the ground with blood coursing out of his head as I quickly ran to his aid I pick him up jump out of the building I get caught by a speeding jet as the whip lash breaks my arm I jump back down as the plane is still soaring through the sky as I land on a nearby boulder ouch as I call one of my cars it arrives and I lay Jake off in the passenger seat I drive off as I park the car into the garage I walk into the lot

Then see Ash waiting there with a smile on her face I lean into her and I wrap my arms around her tightly " ouch that hurts " i said while coughing up blood as I lay onto the old rusted bed I grab A nearby stick and knife as I put the stick in my mouth I scream as I cut an incision to take out a .28 of my arm as I snap the stick in half the bullet falls to the platter as I quickly stitch the cut quickly and rough as I go and look at my reflection I see a bone sticking out of my skin slightly from my arm " Well dammit that don't look nice" as I grab a rusted pipe I

Grab a whiskey bottle and pour it over the bone as I bite down hard on the pipe i push the bone back into place I scream of pain as i bandage it up I go to bed as I awaken I feel a sharp pain in my arm I open my eyes they set and I see Jake poking me with the rusty pipe

hey man you up bro, he says as I stand up and put my shirt on

, thank you Alex for saving me from that hell, I thought you were dead then I see you in one of those cesspools with a similar prosthetic as me

Charging at me what the hell happened to you man, I said with tears

Falling from my bruised face , they messed with my head man. I wasn't me. I'm sorry I …. But before Jake could say something I hugged him
