Summary: An AU. Devil May Cry x Kimetsu no Yaiba
In this story Vergil is the one that turned into a demon. Dante is the demon slayer, and Nero is of course Vergil's kid still.
Dante and Vergil went to go visit there mother Eva because they knew she wanted to spend some time with her kids and her grandchild. They were only going to visit her for a couple of days until something terrible happen that evolved Vergil turning in a demon, Dante turning into a demon slayer like there father Sparda, and Nero just there to keep Vergil from eating people and to speak when Vergil can't.
Dante had to bring Nero with him because he could speak for Vergil and he was the only family member that Dante and Vergil had. They could not leave him behind like there father did. Well Vergil will not leave his son behind. He will kill anyone that would dare try to harm Nero in anyway even it means humans too.

Nero's P.O.V
Daddy and Uncle Dante said they were going to visit Grandma today but it's going to take us on our walk to get there since we live in the mountains and she lives in the outskirts of the village. I haven't seen Grandma in years because we're so busy telling charcoal to the Village.Daddy said we're always busy so we can't visit Grandma but now we can since we're not that busy anymore we are currently walking there right now but it's been an hour since my feet hurt because of the snow I would ask Daddy but he's carrying the luggage in the Yamato with him I can't ask him Uncle Dante because he's carrying the Rebellion with him baby too heavy for them to carry me even though I'm 7 years old my father and Uncle Dante is 28 years old.
"Hey kid are you getting tired of walking" Dante says
"No" I say stubbornly
"Stop being stubborn" My father says to me
"I'm not being stubborn" I say
"come here in Nero" My father says
I walk up to my father confused on what he will want to see him pick me up.
"Hey!" I shouted
"I'm not letting my child walk the snow while his feet hurting" Vergil says to me
"But-" I was about to say but I was cut off by my father
"no buts" He says to me
"Hmm" I pouted
"Hey kid father's only doing what's best for you" Uncle Dante says
"But-" I was about to say but he cut me off
"No buts" Dante says
"fine" I say looking down
"But fathers carrying the luggage while carrying me to" I say looking at Dante
"Hey how about I carry the luggage while Verge carries you" Dante says to Nero
"Hey Verge give me luggage" Dante says
"It would be easier if I just hand you Nero" Vergil says looking at Dante like he's an idiot
I started laughing at my Uncle's stupidity.
"What!" Dante says looking confused at Nero
"Nothing pfft-" I say trying to keep my laugh in
My father looks at Dante and smirks at me while shaking his head at Dante stupidity.
"What!" Dante says looking at Vergil
"Nothing" My father says saying me down while taking off the luggage while handing it to Dante
"I swear you two are just alike" Dante says getting the luggage
"Father Like Son" Dante says running down the mountain
Me and my father looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders at each other running down the mountain to get to catch up with Dante.

One hour later

We finally made it to Grandma's house. It took two hours to get here though but we finally made it. My father Set me down so I can look around. I'll look and see a beautiful garden. I see a blond lady that I'm guessing that's grandma Eva. She's beautiful. She has blue eyes and blonde hair. She turns around and sees us. She looks so happy. She says the watering-can down and walks towards us.
"Dante, Vergil, Nero you're here" She says
"Hi Grandma" I yelled running to her
"Oh hello Nero I'm so happy to see you" she says needing kneeling down to me to pick me up
"Hello mother" My father says
"Hey Mom" Dante says
"Hello boys nice to see you again. How long has it been?" She asked trying to remember
"2 years" My father says
"Oh I see it's been 2 years" She says looking at Me
"How old is Nero right now" She asked my father
"7 years old" My father said
"He's grown so big" Eva says
"Yeah he is" Dante says
"He's just like his father" Dante says
"Hey no I'm not" I say
"and stubborn like his father" Dante says
"I'm not stubborn" I yelled
"Cute" Eva says
"I'm not cute" I pouted
Grandma justs laughs at me and pulls my chick
"That hurts" I thought
it's getting dark you three let's go inside and eat dinner Eva says carry me walking into the house

The Next Day

"Dante can you still do charcoal to the Village" Eva asked her son
"Yeah I can" Dante yells back
"Can I come with you" I asked
"Sorry kid but you can come next time" Dante says
"Okay"I pouted
Nighttime
Dante's P.O.V
"Damn it's already night time" I say
I better get there fast I say a walking to the outskirts off the village
As I walk up I smell blood.
"Blood why do I smell blood probably the animals but it smells like human blood" I thought
"Hey sir don't go out there it's night time the demons will come out" this random old man says to me
"Demons?" I say
"Yeah demons. You can stay at my house so you don't get eaten by them" The old man said
"Sorry but I can't Sir, my family's on the outskirts of the Village but I appreciate it" I bowed
I started running to the outskirts of town and because I smell blood I was hoping I wasn't my family. As I got close to the smell a blood got stronger.
"Please don't be them! Please don't leave them! Please don't be them! I thought
As I got there I see the door open
I walked in to see Vergil and Nero next to each other and my mother on the ground Bleeding Out. I want to go check their pulse and see if they're alive. Nero and Vergil are alive but my mother Eva's dead. I quickly picked them up to go to the doctors to see if they're okay. I put Vergil on my back and Nero in my arms . As I'm walking Vergil wakes up and pushes me and Nero down and started attacking me. I quickly grabbed my Hatchet so he could bite me; he was acting like a . . . Demon. I hear Nero, he was crying, telling Vergil to stop but Vergil quickly smacked Nero and made him fly towards a tree.
"Vergil stop don't give in" I cried yelling
"Daddy please don't give in" I hear Nero crying
I was struggling to keep Vergil from me biting me until Nero came out nowhere and hugged him. I looked up and saw Vergil crying like he recognized me. I was about to say something to him until I saw a sword. I quickly pushed Vergil and Nero out the way so they don't get killed. I looked up and saw a man looking at me, then Vergil and Nero. He started to walk up to them, pulling out his sword until I got and punched the guy and runned to Vergil and Nero to protect them. Nero look's up at me then looks behind me. I turned around to see the man ready to attack me and Nero since he walked up to me, but Vergil moved in the way so me and Nero didn't get hurt by the sword. I hear Nero scream and Vergil growling at the man. He seemed shocked that Vergil protected us from getting hit.
"Interesting" I hear the mysterious man say
