*Hey all! So this is kind of a late Christmasstory, but I had an idea for a Toy Story twist on "It's a wonderful life'. What would it be like if Woody wasn't around? How would the toy family's life be different? Callie is back in this one and it's set a few months after 'Holding out for a hero'.*

**Childhood girl, this is the Christmas story I was talking about that you asked for. I know you suggested it be a Pride Family Story, but I believe you asked for more Callie/Woody stories too. I hope you like this one! In fact I hope you all like this one!**

It was the morning of December 24th and Woody Pride was busy with a checklist in hand. He wanted to turn Bonnie's room into a winter wonderland fit for a perfect Christmas celebration. At least he wanted it to be perfect. This was the first Christmas he would be spending with Callie since she arrived in Bonnie's room and he wanted it to be the best Christmas ever. At this moment, Jessie was keeping Callie busy downstairs while he and the guys were setting stuff up. So far, they had hung garland, strung lights, and made paper snowflakes. It was really coming together.

"Alright guys, we just need to hang the banner, hang a few more lights. Buttercup, I need that village built." Buttercup rolled his eyes. "Slink, lower that garland just a little bit." Slinky did as he asked. "Trixie, Rex, move the computer down just a smidge." Rex jumped up, but Trixie made a face. "We need a few more paper snowflakes. Dolly and Pricklepants, could you get those done?" Dolly scoffed and the hedgehog shook his head. "Okay, that should be...oh! Hey where are Hamm and Potato Head? They are supposed to be finding a tree." Woody said.

"Woody, buddy, I think we have more than enough decorations, don't you think?'" Buzz said chuckling.

"No! We could use a few more. Remember we are going for big and bright, Buzz." He ran over to a small box and searched for anything else he could put out, but found nothing. "Darn it! Oh this won't do."

"Sheriff, don't you think you're going just a tad bit overboard?"

"What? No, no I don't think so." Buzz looked at him. "Oh come on, you think this is too much? Well it's not. I want this to be perfect for us and especially for Callie. It's my...

"Your first Christmas being with her. I get it, partner, but you don't need to go to extreme lengths for her. She already loves you. She doesn't need some big, bright, reveal."

"I know, I know. But I..."

"Hey Woodster! We found a tree for ya!" Hamm said, coming in with a tiny bit of evergreen. Potato Head came in with him and they held it up for him to see.

"Umm, what is that?" Woody asked.

"It's what you asked for. A Christmas tree." Potato head said.

"What? No, that's not a tree, that's, that's a seedling. How are you supposed to put lights or decorations on that? With a pair of tweezers?"

"Hey take it easy, Woody." Buttercup said.

"Yeah. So what if it's small?" Dolly asked.

"So what? Did you just say so what? So what is Callie coming in here and seeing this sad excuse of a Christmas tree."

"Well hey, if you don't like it, feel free to find one yourself." Hamm said.

"Fine, I will." Woody said, pulling his hat down and walking out of the room.

"Woody, come back here. Woody!" Buzz said.

"Oh let him go, Buzz. Potato Head snapped. He's been a bossy pain in the butt all week."

"I'm afraid the spud is right. Pricklepants said. Our cowboy has had a bit of a cross attitude lately."

"He just wants us all to have a nice Christmas, fellas." Slinky said.

"Nice? He's thrown nice out the window, much like that tree we found him!" Hamm said.

"I've had it with his fussing and obsessing over this. Honestly it would be better if Woody just disappeared." Potato Head said. Everyone gasped. Outside the door, Woody heard everything and was stunned to hear what Potato Head said.

"Sweetheart, think about what you're saying." His wife said.

"What is there to think about? He's right! Hamm said. He gets overbearing and bossy too often and it's annoying and unfair to us since we are working our butts off to help him. Sometimes when he gets like this, it would be nice if Woody wasn't around."

"How could you guys say that?" Buzz gasped. Woody listened a little bit more as Buzz and Slinky argued with Hamm and Potato Head. He was both angry and hurt that they didn't want him around. Frustrated, he ran down the hallway and out the back door into the snow.

*Let me know what you all think. Sorry it's a late Christmas story!*
