Hey guys. In honour of the 20th anniversary of the film, Monsters, Inc., I wrote a fanfic of Monsters, Inc. and Peter Rabbit crossover. Haven't done that before. I don't own Monsters, Inc. or Peter Rabbit. Monsters, Inc. belongs in Disney/Pixar and Peter Rabbit was created in a book by Beatrix Potter. Except Lily Bobtail and her parents are not in a book. But they're part of the tv show of Peter Rabbit. Enjoy.
In the beautiful valley of Lake District, the owl was playing with the rabbits and the squirrel. The owl's name is Old Brown. He's a brown owl. He has a beak, brown feathers and brown eyes. He doesn't hate and eat rabbits and squirrels anymore. They continue playing until a rabbit named Peter Rabbit noticed a strange door. "Hey, guys! Look at this!" He called out to his friends who stopped what they're doing. They turned to see what Peter have found. "What is it?" A bunny named Benjamin Bouncer asked. "It's a door. And I know that for a fact." A light grey and white rabbit named Lily Bobtail said. "I wonder where it leads." A red squirrel named Squirrel Nutkin said. "Shall we go and see?" Old Brown asked. "Okay, Old Brown. Maybe we can find new adventures to go on." Peter said. He opened the door just the size for him, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown. Peter is a tall young boy rabbit around age 8 with light brown fur, hazel eyes, and long ears. Benjamin is a boy bunny about 5-6 years old with brown fur. He has dark brown eyes and a dark brown coat and a dark green wool hat.
Lily is light grey and white rabbit with blue eyes and is always wearing a red dress with some pink that has her "Just in case pocket" which is pink with a red flower on it. She has a pink sweater with purple flower-shaped-buttons on the right side and over the dress. She has a pale red headband over the head with a pink flower on it. And Nutkin is a red squirrel. He wears a brown visor along with a blue jumper and a beige cargo vest. Peter and his friends arrived at the strange place. "Where are we?" Nutkin asked "I don't know, Nutkin. Let's check it out." Peter said. They looked around. "We've never been here before. Rabbits are brave, rabbits are brave." Benjamin said. "It'll be fun. Come on, let's hop to it." Peter said as they explore the place. "Come on, Benjamin." Lily said. 'I wonder what this place is called." Old Brown said. Just then Benjamin noticed something. "Hey, guys. Look at this." Benjamin said as he pointed at someting. Peter, Lily, Nutkin and Old Brown looked at something. That something that Benjamin is pointing is a banner. "It's a banner and it says "Think Funny?" I wonder if this is a laugh factory." Lily said. "Look. There's some balloons and confettis." Peter said.
"And door stations." Nutkin said as he pointed at the door stations. "So this is a laugh factory?" Old Brown said. "I wonder if we can find new friends here. Let's hop to it." Peter said. They went through the hallway to the lobby. When they get there, they see two monsters and a human child. A big monster named James P. Sullivan, or Sulley for short, picked up a giggling child and lifted her into the is a large hairy cyan monster with magenta spots and periwinkle eyes. He has curved horns, white claws, razor sharp fangs, white spikes that run down his backside to the end of his long dinosaur-like tail, and a large furry belly. He has bushy eyebrows and a teal nose. Another monster who watched Sulley playing with the human child is Mike Wazowski. Mike is a spherical green-skinned monster with a single emerald green eye. He has slender arms and legs, both with claws, but he has four fingers on each hand and three toes on each foot. On his head is a pair of short horns with dark grey tips, and a mouth with jagged teeth. His eye and mouth take up the majority of his body. "Oh no!" The animals exclaimed as they see the kid. The human child is a little girl named Boo.
She is a two-year-old toddler, who is curious and naïve. She can talk, but has gibberish vocabulary and little dialogue because of her age. The only actual words she says are "Boo!", "Kitty!" and "Mike Wazowski!". She has brown eyes as well as brown hair in pigtails with pink hair ties. She is shown wearing a pink nightshirt, purple capris leggings, and white socks. Just then Boo popped up from behind Sulley's shoulder. She sees Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown. "Boo." She exclaimed as she pointed at them. Holding Boo, Sulley turned to see the animals watching them. "Hmm? I wonder who those guys are." Sulley said. Mike sees them. "What?! Careful, Sulley. If they see the K-I-D…" Mike said frantically. "It's fine. We got nothing to hide." Sulley said. "But you're the CEO! You set the example." Mike said. Sulley shrugs and put Boo down. Mike ran to the animals. "Guys! Guys, it's not what it looks like. Okay, listen. That kid over there just popped out of nowhere! We gotta call the CDA. Uh... it's a…uh… Oh yeah, a Code 835!" He explained. "Are you trying to scare that little girl?" Peter asked as he pointed at Boo. Mike turned to Boo then back to the animals.
"Yes! I mean, no no no! We're done with scare power. Nobody's gettin' scared." He said "Mike, take it easy." Sulley said as Boo ran to him. "You should too, Peter." Benjamin said. "See? She's happy." Lily said as Sulley patted Boo on the head and he and Boo laugh. "Aww! She looked so cute." Old Brown said. Realising that Boo is a friend of Sulley and Mike, Peter decided to meet them. "C'mon." He said to his friends as they approach the trio with smiles on their faces. Due to the size of the door, the animals are a little bit bigger than Boo and as Sulley and Mike. Peter is the first to introduce. "Hello." He greeted. "I'm Peter Rabbit." He introduced as he crouched down in front of Boo. "Boo." Boo introduced as she toddled towards Peter while Benjamin, Lily, Nutkin and Old Brown looked on. "Oh, is that your name?" He asked. "Nice to meet you, Boo." He said as he gently rubbed Boo's cheek causing her to giggle. "Hold on. You guys really aren't afraid of humans?" Mike said. "Only one. That angry gardener named Mr. McGregor." Peter said. Sulley and Mike gasped. "Ooh. That guy is mean." Mike said. "It's a good thing you guys barely got out of his garden alive." Sulley said. "We did. Hi. My name is Benjamin Bouncer." Benjamin said.
"I'm Lily Bobtail." Lily introduced. "I'm Nutkin. Squirrel Nutkin." Nutkin introduced. "And I'm Old Brown." Old Brown introduced. "Well, my name is Sulley. And this is my best friend, Mike Wazowski." Sulley introduced. "Hello. Welcome to Monsters Incorporated." Mike said. "So that's where we are." Nutkin said. Just then Boo sees Old Brown. She giggled as she toddle towards him as Peter, Benjamin, Lily, Nutkin, Sulley and Mike looked on. Old Brown turned to see her toddling towards him. She began to hug him. "Aww!" The animals, Sulley and Mike exclaimed. "I think Boo likes you, Old Brown." Peter said. Old Brown gently picked Boo up with his wings and hugged her. "Where is she from, Sulley?" Benjamin asked. "Boo is from the human world." Sulley said. "We're from there too. Lake District." Lily said. "Cool. That reminds me. Sulley, I know you've missed her, but it's about time for Boo to go home." Mike said. Realising that they've been playing with Boo too long, Sulley gasped. "You're right, Mikey." Sulley said. "Is it okay if we come along? I'm all about adventures." Peter said. "Sure. You guys can come along." Mike said. "Yes!" Peter said. Just then they heard Boo giggling.
They turned to see her run playfully. Sulley, Mike and Old Brown playfully chase her. "I'm coming to get you, Boo." Old Brown said as Mike roared playfully. "You're right, Peter. We did find new adventures to go on." Lily said. "Yeah. Maybe we can help them along the way." Benjamin said as Sulley tossed Boo in the air and catch her while Mike and Old Brown watch as they laugh. Sulley put Boo down and he, Mike, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown make their way to the Laugh Floor. As they walked through the hallway to the Laugh Floor F, Mike sings. "Gotta send her home right now, or so help me… So help me! So help me!" As Mike continue singing, Sulley explained to Peter, Benjamin, Lily, Nutkin and Old Brown."So, Monsters Incorporated used to rely on scream power from human kids for energy, but now we collect their laughter instead. It turns out laughter's ten times more powerful." Just then Boo jumped up and down two times to get Sulley's attention. He, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown turned to see her. "Kitty!" She said excitedly as she pointed towards the Laugh Floor. "And we'd never have figured it out without Boo." Sulley said as Boo ran to the Laugh Floor. "Cool." Peter said. They arrived at the Floor.
Mike spotted Boo's door on a conveyor belt rode away. "Look! There's Boo's door! And it's getting away." Mike said. "There's one thing to do. Ride to the door vault." Sulley said. "We've never ride on doors before." Peter said. "Would you like to join us?" Sulley asked. "We'd love to." Peter said. Mike ran to get three card keys and slide them through the slots on three stations. The doors ride out of the vault land in three stations. "Ride's here." Mike said. "Nice." Lily said. "Grab on to the door when you're ready." Mike said. "Got it." Peter said. "I wonder where Boo's door flew off to." Old Brown said as Peter and Nutkin walked towards a door. Then Peter and Nutkin grab onto a door. "Ready!" Peter said. Mike ejects the door. Lily and Benjamin grab onto their door. Mike ejects their door. Sulley and Boo grab onto the door. Mike ejects it. He quickly grab on to the door that Sulley and Boo are on. Old Brown fly behind them. Boo giggled. Sulley turned to her. "Boo? Hold on. Don't want you to get hurt." Sulley said. Boo is reaching out to Old Brown. "I'm coming, Boo." Old Brown said.
The doors with Sulley, Mike, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin and Nutkin clung into them sail to the door vault with Old Brown flying behind Sulley, Mike, Boo and their door as the invisible monster watch. "Boo's door, here we come!" Mike exclaimed as the doors with him, Sulley, Boo and the animals still clinging onto them and Old Brown still flying behind Sulley, Mike, Boo and their door leave the Laugh Floor. "Oh, I just got a great idea." The invisible monster said. He turned visible. The monster turned out to be a purple, eight-legged lizard monster with a chameleon-like ability to change his skin colour and blend in completely with his surroundings. His name is Randall Boggs. Meanwhile, as the doors arrived in the vault with Sulley, Mike, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin and Nutkin still clinging onto them and Old Brown still flying behind Sulley, Mike and Boo, Benjamin whimpered. "Rabbits are brave, rabbits are brave." He said as he's holding onto his hat. Sulley, Mike, Boo and the animals land on the platform in the Upper Level. They see a door sitting by a wall. Mike opened the door but there's no power. He closed the door and turned to Sulley, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown.
"It's offline! We have to power it up! We gotta make Boo laugh to open the door!" He said. Benjamin whimpered. "Oh, this is bad, this is very, very bad with an extra helping of uh-oh!" He said. Just then he began to slip in one of the cords."Whoa!" Benjamin exclaimed. One of the cords that Benjamin is slipped on send him flying right into one of the lamppost. He landed on to the lamppost. "Oof!" He exclaimed. He landed on the ground. "Ouchie." He said. Boo, seeing this, laugh. The lights above the door and all the doors in the vault lit up. Sulley, Mike, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown cheer. "You did it, Benjamin! You make Boo laugh!" Mike said. Sulley opened the door. "The door's open!" Sulley said. He, Boo, Mike, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown walked through the door right into another platform. Sulley sees Boo's door. "Boo's door!" He exclaimed. Mike turned to Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown. "Ready? It's time to hitch another ride." He said. "Cool." Peter said. They ran to the doors. "We have to find Boo's door. I know that for a fact." Lily said as they clung to the doors with Old Brown fly behind them. Mike sees Boo's door.
"There's Boo's door!" He exclaimed. Then Sulley, Mike, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown land on another platform. They run to the yellow door that leads them to the lower level. "Boo's door should be right around somewhere." Mike said as they began to look around. "Everybody look!" Lily said. Still holding Boo, Sulley sees Boo's door. "There it is!" He exclaimed. They walked though the door. Old Brown close the door behind them. But it turns out that Randall was disguised as Boo's door. So it's not Boo's door. Sulley, Mike, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown walk out of the door in to the factory. The room they're in is the basement. They've been tricked. "Wait! How'd we take a wrong turn?" Mike said. Just then they heard the door closing. They turned to see the visible Randall. "Who cares? All that matters… is that it's the last turn that you losers are ever gonna take." Randall said. "Randall?!" Sulley exclaimed. "Who's he?" Peter asked. "A creep we banished for trying to collect screams by force. He used to be Boo's scarer." Sulley explained. Boo roars angrily at Randall.
"How did you even get back there? That door we sent you through is sawdust!" Mike said as he, Sulley, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown glare at Randall. "Yeah, and I almost got turned into somebody's wallet. Lucky for me, real nice guys came along and fixed the door. So here I am." Randall said. Mike growls. "And starting today, I'm numero uno! Top of the leaderboard, baby." Randall continued. "Ha! You, a top laugh collector? In your dreams, Randall. My laugh totals are off the charts." Mike said. "Who said anything about collecting laughs? My new friends have kindly invaded the factory to get 'em for me." Randall said. "New friends?" Benjamin said nervously. "He's gotta know." Lily said. "Yeah, somebody must be helpin' him." Nutkin said. "Laughter's just not sustainable. Once junior chorts his last chortle, you've gotta start over. But negative energy? Especially sadness? Give 'em something that really breaks their little hearts, and they'll stay sad forever. We'll never have to worry about energy again." Randall said. "We're not gonna let you hurt anyone like that! Not you or your helpers!" Peter said.
"Just try and stop me. You'll see soon enough. I am gonna be a legend around this place. Now consider your careers officially over." Randall said. "What?!" Mike exclaimed. "And that goes for the rest of you, too." Randall said. He turned invisible. "Hey! Where'd he go?" Peter said. "We're in control of this factory now. And I suggested a few improvements- some real doozies I just know you're gonna love. In fact, you're not getting out of here alive." Randall said over speaker. "That weasel means business! He'll never quit." Mike said. "We have to get Boo to safety first. Then, we can take care of Randall. Time to find a way out!" Sulley said. "Yeah!" The animals and Mike said. "We'll find a way out. A good rabbit never gives up! And so is a squirrel, owl, monsters and human girl too!" Peter said. "Enjoy what's left of your miserable lives." Randall said over speaker as Sulley, Mike, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown make their way out of the factory basement. "We've got to get out of the factory." Lily said as they continued running. Benjamin pant as they ran up the stairs "Look who's starting to sweat." Randall said over speaker. They run to the room with machines near the ground floor.
They quickly dodged one of the machines as it shoot lasers at them leaving the dot on the floor. "Hey! What's with the machines? They've gone totally bonkers! There's no way we can take Boo through here safely." Mike said. Boo whimpered as she ran to Sulley. "This must be what Randal meant by improvements." Sulley said as he scooped Boo up. "Bad ones!" Benjamin said. "Nothin' we can't handle!" Peter said. "Yep." Mike said. "Sulley, maybe you and Mike should take Boo someplace that's safe." Old Brown said. "Right." Sulley said. "I'll do it." Peter said. "If you find the contraption controlling those things and smash it, that should do the trick." Mike said. "On it!" Peter said. "We'll wait here." Lily said. "I'll be right back." Peter said as he hop to the contraption. He sees some parts that looked like the archway. "Maybe I can use the parts here to avoid the lasers." Peter said. He sees a machine. "I see a machine up there in the cage past the stairs." Peter said. He find something useful a pipe. Hard enough to smash a machine. He smashed the control panel and the machines stopped working. Holding Boo, Sulley checked to see if the coast's clear. "Coast is clear. Go!" Sulley called to Mike, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown.
They ran outside the ground floor where Peter is waiting. They arrive at the ground floor. "Yeah well, that was just a warm-up. The real fun's just starting." Randall said over speaker as Sulley, Mike, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown ran through the ground floor. They ran down the stairs past the painting booth to the elevator. "Great. The power's out again. And I know that for a fact!" Lily said. "Okay! We know what to do." Mike said. He scan the room. "Gotta find…" He said. Just then he spotted the painting booth. "Bingo!" Mike said. "Huh?" The animals and Sulley exclaimed. "Uh, Mike? How's that supposed to help?" Sulley asked. Mike chuckled as he beckoned Sulley to come to him. He whispered something on Sulley's ear. "Heh, that's good!" Sulley said. "Yep, take it away!" Mike said. He began to walk away but Sulley dragged him. "Nice try, Mikey. I'm not doin' this alone!" Sulley said as he dragged Mike to the painting booth. "Hey! You, not me. C'mom… Sulley!" Mike exclaimed as the door opens automatically. "No. Stop! Sul-ley! Not what I had in miiind!" Mike shouted. The door alarm sounded and the lights in the painting booth are on.
Sulley and Mike's shadow is shown as Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown looked on. The door opened and Sulley and Mike came out with pink and blue paint all over them. Mike is not happy about this. Boo giggled and Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown laugh. The power in the elevator is on. "It's on! Nice work, guys!" Peter said. "I gotta say, revenge is sweet." Randall said over speaker as Sulley, Mike, Boo, Peter, Lily, Benjamin, Nutkin and Old Brown step into the elevator.
