Bonnie was done with Klaus toying with all their lives and using Elena to manipulate the Salvatores into killing her mother just crossed the line for her. Bonnie cast a spell on Elijah to tell her the truth, she cast the spell and said, "Tell me, if the Salvatores wouldn't have killed my mother and turned her into a vampire would you still have done it"
Elijah, "I would have done what was necessary to save my family, if not for the older Salvatore I would have got another vampire to turn your mother or would have done it myself, severing the Bennett line was the only thing that could save my family so I would have done everything in my power to stop Esther."
Bonnie was furious, she launched the next question, "Then tell me why did you use Elena, why of all people her, haven't you all caused enough pain to her, killed her aunt, killed her, let her sacrifice go to waste, used her as a human blood bag, why did you use her to manipulate them tell me, and I know it was not just because they cared about her there was more to it, tell me and be honest about that, you don't have a choice."
Compelled by the spell Bonnie put on him Elijah was in pain each time he tried to lie, the only way to stop the pain was to speak the truth and he said, "Yes it was more than that, I knew Damon would do anything to save Elena but to use her to manipulate him into turning your mother into a vampire, it was about manipulating you and all of Elena's friends."
"How?"
"Niklaus wants Elena all to himself and by doing this, I thought I would be killing two birds with one stone, one the Bennett line would be severed rendering my mother powerless and two, you all would abandon Elena knowing what pain she has caused to you, to Caroline, to Stefan, to Damon."
"Enough." Bonnie yells, "Elena didn't cause any of it, she is a normal teenager just like me trying to live her life, your family is what has caused this pain, your mother turned Alaric dark, it was not Elena who was in real danger that time, it was you and your family, you are saying all this so that you could manipulate me, well you know what, let me show you what your family has done."
Bonnie casts another powerful spell and Elijah is forced to watch all the atrocities that him and his family has committed, how many people they have killed, how many children they have made orphans, how many times they burned buildings or villages and rendered many homeless, Elijah was forced to watch all those things all at once and then Bonnie makes it stop.
"Bonnie, whatever you are doing do to me, just make me suffer for my family's crimes, just leave my family alone."
"No" Bonnie yells again, "If it weren't for your family, Jenna would still be alive, if it weren't for the tomb, my Grams would still be alive…"
"Wait, let us take Elena away with us, and none of this would ever befall your family, if Elena weren't here your grams would still be alive, you agree to this point right, after all it was Elena who convinced your Grams to do that spell."
Bonnie was highly charged with magic her hair were flowing in the air, she sees her Grams standing behind Elijah, at first she thought she was hallucinating but then Shiela Bennet walked to her kept a calm hand on her shoulder and said, "Bonnie, you really think Elena could manipulate me into opening that tomb, honey I didn't open it because Elena said so, I opened it because Anna and Ben abducted you, they could have harmed you and they were just two vampires, inside the tomb there were twenty six vampires and you are a Bennett witch, in Anna's time we got lucky but what if many more vampires, related to those that were locked came after you, I never taught you magic, you were raised as a normal teenage girl, I didn't open the tomb because Elena said, I opened the tomb for you honey, because one day or the other they were going to come any manipulate you, or coerce you into doing so, I didn't want you to suffer for it, so I took it all on me."
Saying this Shiela Bennett disappears, Bonnie looks at Elijah and realizes if it weren't for Klaus hunting Katherine, she wouldn't have faked her death, if it weren't for Klaus' greed for making more hybrids, she never would have sided with Esther, if it weren't for the hybrid curse, Jenna would still be alive and if it weren't for Esther's dark magic, Alaric would never have killed Bill Forbes. Her anger is all directed towards Klaus, a lightening emerges from her reach the sky and then that same lightening falls on Klaus who was sitting in his living room drinking his bourbon.
When the lightning strikes him, he disappears, the couch burns and all that remains is the decanter which falls to the ground and breaks. "Your family is so obsessed with Elena, so I have sent Klaus to a time where there will be no Elena, there will be neither one of us. I have sent him to the future."
Elijah laughs and says, "Huh, you really think my family won't keep tabs on Elena and tell Niklaus where her family line went, or who is her heir."
"No you won't, because I will dagger each one of you and when Klaus finds you all in that century, you will have no means to find Elena or her bloodline."
A dagger pierces through Elijah's heart, the rest of the originals are daggered at the same time too, Bonnie with the help of the others moves those coffins in the witch house again.
Klaus looks around, he is standing in the middle of a road, vehicles are moving too fast and he just vamps to the sidewalk, 'Where the hell am I and how did I reach here.' Klaus is walking on the street when he stops before a newspaper and magazine vendor and what catches his eye is neither the news nor the magazine but the date on the newspaper, MON 22/6/2096.
