I thought of this while playing MK11,

Author's note: A little after writing this I started to get into the story, so I didn't know that Mileena was Kitana's clone. (Also I did revise this chapter, I hope you guys still like it)

Kitana was at her house sharpening the blades on her fans when there was a knock on the door. Kitana sighed and opened the door to find Kotal Kahn on her doorstep.

"What?" Kitana snapped

"Nice to see you too." Kotal said sarcastically. "They want to do another round of Kombat". He said in a sigh.

Kitana looked up from sharpening her fan. Why did they have to send Kotal out of all of them? Why couldn't they send someone else?

" like a tournament, or what?" Kitana sighed

"A tournament." Kotal said

"Nice, I might be able to pound you into the ground." She went back to sharpening the blades.

"Why are you sharpening your fan?"

"It's dole, it's a good killing tool for assholes when it's sharp."

"Anyway that's all"

"Then why are you still here?"

"Why are you so mean to me?"

"Because I hate you." She stopped sharpening. And looked up.

"Let it go."

"Fuck you" She licked the blade on her fan. "Get out!" She demanded. She threw her fan right at the door frame. Just a few inches away from his face. He looked at it calmly,

"what did I do to you?" He asked, bored. He seemed so calm Kitana wanted to punch him, And make him scared.

"You know what!" She yelled so harshly, every word filled with poison.

"I have a few words for you, Let it go." He said slowly with a pause between each word. Then he walked out and slammed the door behind him.

Bitch, Kitana thought.

Kitana sighed, and ripped her fan out of the door frame and sat down. She decided that she would go to the training center tonight. The costume designers would make her new costume and makeup, then people would watch the fight. She found it interesting how the crowd would change every millennium.

When she got to the Mortal Kombat training center. The lights were brighter and had more equipment than usual. And better quality. They had dummies dressed as all of the fighters. Damn

She noticed dummies that were dressed as all of the Mortal Kombat fighters. There were at least a dozen of each of them, the Kabal one was hard to look at, she went over to the Kotal Khan one and stared at it for a minute.

She opened her fans and dug them into the surprisingly realistic dummy. The gel-like thing that was to represent skin was thick. And blood shot out when she stabbed it. She wondered if the blood was fake or real.

"Kitana, are you okay?" She felt a hand go on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Baraka looking at her with a worried expression.

"Oh I'm, uh fine. Sorry"

"Why are you crying?"

"I'm not!" She said as she wiped a tear off of her face. She didn't realize that she had been crying.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he looked at the Kotal Khan dummy.

"I hate him".

"So what's with you and Kotal Kahn?"

"He's the one who kind of made me and Kabal break up".

"How?"

"He started lying to me and Kabal about each other. Started a bunch of really bad fights. Then he told Kabal that I cheated on him with Scorpion. That's when he broke up with me, no questions asked."

Kabal walked in, holding hands with frost. Kitana looked away as quickly as she could, she didn't want to see him. And she was partly angry that he moved on from her so quickly. He started dating Tanya a week after they broke up.

Kabal rolled his eyes, he purposely took off his mask and kissed Tanya right as Kitana looked up. Baraka turned around so she wouldn't have to look at Kabal. Baraka took her into a hug, and she rested her head on his chest.

Baraka looked up at Kabal and gave him the middle finger. Kabal raised one of his hook swords in a threatening way. Baraka lifted one of his arms and pointed the blade at Kabal.

"I thought he couldn't take his mask off." Baraka said.

"He can, he got the breathing part fixed. At least enough so he can take it off for a few minutes." She said.

"How long have you guys been split up?"

"4 months"

"Have you dated other guys to get over him?"

"No"

Thud

Kitana and Baraka both turned around to see the Kotal Khan dummy's head falling to the floor. Baraka smiled, then looked at Kitana. She was smiling at the damage she caused to the dummy.
