CHAPTER 1

I have been working on this idea for two months now so I wanted to share it with you and tell me what you think. Here Jan Di never attended Shinhwa high school or University and she wasn't given a chance to meet the F4 but she heard of them.

Jandi rushed out of her apartment to catch the bus that takes her to Yoon Hospital which was originally a clinic. Today Dr. Yoon will be introducing the owner of the hospital, she arrived but bumped into someone wearing white, she bowed in apology "I'm sorry" she picked up his papers that had fallen on the ground and she raised her head and handed them to him. Time stood still and her stomach did summer salt as she faced the most beautiful elegant Man she had ever seen. He had a boyish charm that even in front of the flowers, he was more beautiful. He seemed to be studying her as well concerned "Are you alright Miss?" he asked as he put away his papers. His voice sounded gentle and beautifully as he spoke. His face looked like a living statue but his eyes caught her attention, His hair was short and copper that matched well with his skin and he had a long neck with the Adams apple seen that made him even sexier . He looked like he was in his mid-20s and he had a nice smile. Jandi continued staring and even moved closer to him "You are so beautiful" she sighed dreamily at the man

Jihoo smiled at the woman in front of him. "Are you alright?" he asked again and this time he seemed amused

"Oh, I'm sorry" she came out of her dreamy state, she rushed to get changed in her working attire to do her rounds before she met this so called Mr. Yoon.

Jihoo made his way to his grandfather's hospital to meet the new team that he was going to be working with. His heart was beating fast, it had been 4 years since he last felt this way for a woman but this girl or woman she bumped into was extra-ordinary, she seemed to have a childish charm on her that made his heart race. He stepped out of the elevator with his grandfather who was tell him something that seem to interest him. As they got closer, everyone in the hospital was gushing at the tall handsome young man while Jandi did everything to avoid eye contact with him as he was staring at her intensely

"It's a good day today everyone" Dr. Yoon said "Let me introduce you to the new owner of my hospital, he's Yoon Ji Hoo my grandson. He's a pediatrician but he's in the section of critical care Medicine, and has excellent memory. He studied at Shinhwa university and did his residency in Canada" then Dr. Yoon turned his eye to Jan Di who was looking at the ground and smirked at her "Dr. Geum, introduce yourself and the team"

Jandi came closer and gave a deep bow to Ji Hoo. "I'm Dr. Geum Jan Di a pediatrician and this is our team you're going to work with." She went on to introduce the doctors that work in pediatrics wing "Dr. Yoon, this is Dr. Lee Dae-Hyun, he's the Cardiologist that deals with Infants and Dr. Park Jae-gil there is also Dr. Han Jae-hee and 'Dr. Park Si-yeon' she introduced herself as she pulled Jan Di away and introduced the rest of the staff while holding on his arm. Ji Hoo brushed her off saying "Dr. Park" he saw the blue print on her Lab coat "you don't need to touch me" he then turned towards Jan Di and called her "Dr. Geum, my grandfather said you know everything around here so can you show me around since I have met everyone"

"Dr. Yoon, I can take you around" Dr. Park said as she pushed Jan Di aside "Dr. Geum has her rounds to do and some patients to treat" she said as she shot Jan Di a dirty look "She even have to sing for the children"

"Dr. Park, I asked Dr. Geum to help me because my grandfather recommended her and not you." He turned to Jan Di "Shall we go Dr. Geum?" Jan Di nodded and rushed off to his side.

Jan Di took Jihoo to the NICU fast because it was the most important. As they were walking, Jan Di kept some distance away from him while he did everything he could to be next to her. When he noticed he decided to ask

"Dr. Geum, my grandfather talks a lot about you. He says you are a decent doctor and social. Why do you seem to be avoiding me, I'm I that scary to you?" Jan Di stopped and faced him surprised by the question

"Well I don't want to get in trouble with that doctor who seem to be familiar with you" she turned around to walk but he tugged on her wrist

"Dr. Geum, do you have a problem?" he asked concerned. He himself was surprised by his actions, normally he wouldn't care but this woman in front of him with doe-eye is forcing him to care.

"No, Dr. Yoon, I'm fine" they continued walking as she took him everywhere he needed to know. Jan Di had spent all her University keeping distance from me as she had a traumatic event with them.

"Dr. Yoon, this is the end of our tour. I shall escort you to your office" She said

"Dr. Geum, will I be working with you?" he grinned at her and she had to turn her eye away

"Yes Dr. Yoon" she answered as she made her way to the New office meant for him. His office was bigger than hers and it they were opposite each other. "Dr. Yoon, if you need anything just call me" Jan Di bowed and left him there in front of his office. He smiled and called her back

"Dr. Geum, where can I get coffee from?"

"There is a Vending machine out side, the upper floor and also there is at the cafeteria" she said as a matter-of-faculty

"Could you please escort me to get some?" he smiled at her. Ji Hoo knew his charms well and his friends had complimented him that his smile was the strongest weapon. So seeing Dr. Geum flustered, he knew he has done it and she won't refuse to walk with him. She nodded and walked with him to the vending machine to buy coffee.

They arrived and were welcomed by a talkative girl asking the type of Coffee they needed

"Cho-Hee, Dr. Yoon wants the best coffee here" she said as he pointed the man standing behind her

"Dr. Yoon, how do you like your coffee?" Jan Di asked. He turned to her and asked "What is there that you can recommend?"

"Well for me i normally have creamy Cappuccino topped with a sprinkling of Cocoa powder." she told him

"I will have 2cups of that" he said and turned to the coffee girl who was smiling.

Jan Di was leaving but he called her back. "This is for you" he handed it to her and walked back to his office but was met by Dr. Park Si-yeon who had excelled in Cardiology. She is tall beautiful with long black hair and from a rich family, her parents have invested in the hospital and developed it. She had a big crush on Ji Hoo ever since she was in high school, now he was here and she would try to get him.

"Dr. Yoon" she touched her arm, "Your grandfather is looking for you"

"Dr. Park" he pulled a way "I can go by myself" he looked back to see Jan Di watch them and walked past them as the Dr. Part was still lingering around him

"Haraboji, can i ask you something?"

"If it's about Jan Di, don't ask me. It's private and if anyone talks about it in this hospital, he or she is fired" he said seriously

"Ok, I just wanted to know her. It's just that something around her attracts me to her. I don't understand it" he confessed to his grandfather. "I can sense behind that face, there is a sad face that makes me want to help her"

"Jan Di has been through a lot in her life. I'm her Psychiatrist so the information is private. But if you have managed to get through her heart you will find out"

"Ok"

"So how is your first day after all, it's not busy to day" his grandfather complimented

"It's not busy by the way in my section. Grandpa, does Jan Di have a boyfriend?"

"No, she doesn't associate with boys. She only talks to me. Many doctors have approached her but she turned them down".

Jan Di was heading to the cafeteria to grab some snacks and ran into a man wearing black, he had curly hair and also looked familiar. He knocked her and almost fell but he didn't apologize and walked away.

"What a rude man he is!" she said and continued to her favorite table. She turned back and saw him looking back at her wearing an arrogant look on his face. He was about to storm her way but stopped when "Jun Pyo-ah"

"So he's Goo Jun Pyo, an heir of Shinhwa. No wonder he's arrogant"
