Summary: The Rugrats gang has an imaginary outer space adventure in Chuckie and Kimi's backyard.
It was a beautiful sunny day in Yucaipa, California as the Rugrats, Angelica, Susie and Zoey were hanging out at the Watanabe-Finster residence in the backyard.
"You sure can get a nice view from up here" said Susie.
"Yeah and this this tree house rocks" replied Zoey.
"Let's slide on down and join our friends" said Angelica.
"Sure" replied Susie and Zoey in unison as they went down the slide laughing.
"Tag you're it Jesse" said Tommy.
"Catch us if you can" replied Zack.
"I'll get ya" said Jesse as he chased after Tommy and Zack.
"C'mon Lillian, let's gets all muddy in this mud puddle" said Phil.
"I can be a muddier mess than you Phillip" replied Lil.
"That cloud up there looks like aliums from outside space" said Dil.
"And that one looks like a big cotton ball" replied Savannah.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha, It's Super Thing to the rescue" said Kimi as she played with her doll.
"Here's astronaut Chuckie on his space ship ready to splores outside space" said Chuckie as he played with his toy space ship.
Kimi took notice of her brother imagining he was in space.
"Hey Chuckie" asked Kimi.
"Yeah" replied Chuckie.
"Wouldn't be awesome if we could goes into outside space likes astronauts" asked Kimi.
"Well, maybe we can't do it for reals until were all growed up, but we could pretend to be astronauts like Me, Tommy, Phil and Lil did once" replied Chuckie.
"What did you do the firstest time you was astronauts" asked Kimi.
Chuckie then explained about his toy spaceship gone missing and ventured into the Pickles garage and pretended that Lou's mobile trailer was a real rocket ship and went to the moon with his friends to search for his toy spaceship.
"Wow, that's pretty cool" said Kimi.
"Wanna see if the guys wanna play astronauts with us" asked Chuckie.
"Uh-huh" replied Kimi.
Meanwhile, the other kids were taking a break from playing and were deciding on what they should do next when Chuckie and Kimi approached them.
"Hey guys" said Chuckie and Kimi in unison.
"Hey" replied the others in unison.
"We were wondering if you guys wanted to play astronauts with us" said Chuckie.
"Wow, another outside space adventure" said Tommy.
"Would we visit a different place since we went to the moon the lastest time" asked Phil.
"Yeah, we didn't gets to see other places in outside space before" added Lil.
"I don't see why not" replied Chuckie.
"I know, why don't we visit a red planet called Mars" suggested Zack.
"And maybe haves a mission to find life on Mars" added Dil.
"Wow, an adventure into outside space, count me in" said Jesse.
"Hey this sounds like it could be fun" replied Savannah.
"Uh-huh" replied Kimi. "But will need someone to do mission control, you know where they talks to the astronauts and vise versa" she said.
"We could do that" said Angelica, Susie and Zoey in unison.
The others nodded in agreement. Then the backyard transformed into a launching site for the space shuttle and the Rugrats were inside the mission control center.
"Astronaut Babies" said Angelica.
"Based on our recent research, we have reason to believe that there is possible human life on the red planet Mars. But we are unable to determine exactly who or what they might look like on Mars" said Zoey.
"And we need you to check it out and report to us what you find" added Susie.
"Yeah" replied the Rugrats in unison.
"And in case you guys need to defend yourselves from trouble, we loaded the rocket with machine water guns and tons of water as ammo" said Zoey.
"Um, what good will that be to us" asked Chuckie.
"You'll find out if you run into trouble on your outside space adventure, trust us" said Angelica.
"We would never have you use anything that couldn't protect you from danger" added Susie.
The Rugrats nodded in agreement and made their way to the space shuttle.
"Soon we'll be headed for outside space" said Kimi.
"Do you thinks we'll run into aliums" asked Dil.
"I hope not" said Chuckie.
"Relax Chuckie" said Jesse.
"I'm sure everything will turn out okay in the end" replied Savannah.
"Yeah" said Phil and Lil in unison.
"Don't worry guys, Me and Tommy will guide the spaceship to Mars and back home safely, right Tommy" asked Zack.
"Yep" replied Tommy.
"Mission Control to Astronaut Babies" said Zoey.
"We're ready to begin the countdown" replied Angelica.
The Rugrats hearts pounded with excitement and anticipation as they got ready.
"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, BLAST OFF" shouted the girls in unison.
At that moment the space ship blasted off from Earth and were heading towards Mars.
"WOAH" shouted all the Rugrats in unison.
It took quite awhile, but once they left Earth's atmosphere and were in outer space they were approaching an asteroid field.
"Mission Control to Astronaut Babies, do you read me" asked Angelica.
"We read you, over" replied Tommy.
"You guys are approaching an asteroid field, which in case some of you may not know is that it's a field with lots of rocks floating" said Susie.
"So you guys guide the spaceship safely through the asteroid field" added Zoey.
"We copy Mission Control" replied Zack.
"Great" said Angelica. "Mission Control out" she added.
Soon Tommy and Zack were navigating the spaceship left to right and high and low avoiding every asteroid that was in their path. Eventually they made it through the asteroid field without a scratch.
"Yay" cheered the other Rugrats in unison.
"Teamwork pays off" said Tommy and Zack in unison.
Eventually, they were approaching the planet Mars when Mission Control contacted the Astronaut Babies.
"Mission Control to Astronaut Babies, do you read me" asked Susie.
"Loud and clear Mission Control, we made it through the asteroid belt" said Zack.
"Yeah it was fun" added Tommy.
"Well done guys, god job" said Zoey.
"But we're afraid you guys can't land that spaceship. You're going to have to eject and parachute down to Mars" said Angelica.
"How come" asked Tommy.
"Well, Uncle Stu apparently forgot to fix the landing gear and you so don't wanna know why and we girls at Mission Control just realized this once you've lifted off" said Angelica.
"But not to worry guys, we packed parachutes for you to land safely on Mars, and plenty of jet packs for you to use to get back to the spaceship when you've finished your outside space adventure" said Zoey.
"Okay, Mission Control, Thanks" replied Zack.
"Mission Control out" said Susie.
The Rugrats got everything they needed for their exploration of Mars and parachuted down to Mars through rings and avoiding obstacles ranging from asteroids and floating space debris on the way down. Eventually, they landed on the planet Mars safely.
"We made it guys, were on Mars" said Tommy.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"Now we can splores this planet for any signs of life" said Kimi.
"I just hope everything will be okay" replied Chuckie.
"We'll be fine Chuckie, we gots the machine water guns with us for emergencies" said Zack.
"Yeah" replied Phil and Lil in unison.
"C'mon, I wants to see if peoples on this planet are aliums or not" said Dil.
"Yeah, let's get going already" replied Jesse.
"Uh-huh" said Savannah.
Soon the Rugrats were exploring the red planet and seeing craters and looking for any signs of life.
"So far, so quiet, so good" said Chuckie.
"I'm sure excitement will find us if not the other way around sooner or later" replied Tommy.
Just then the Rugrats got a nasty surprise that was heard echoing from nearby craters.
"AH-HA-HA-HA" laughed a voice as it startled the Rugrats.
"Who's there" snapped Zack as he pulled out his camera.
Then a green humanoid alien boy and an army of green Mr Friend humanoid like aliens emerged from their hiding places.
"Ahhhhhh" screamed the Rugrats in unison, just as Zack began snapping lots of pictures.
"W-who are you" asked Chuckie nervously.
"I am Anthony the green eyed alien" replied Anthony. "And these are my green little minion friends" he added.
"Oh-no, they are just like the Mr Fiend toys most of my friends beated a bazillion yesterday's" Tommy thought to himself.
"Have we been waiting for foolish mortals like you to walk right into our trap" said Anthony the green eyed alien.
"What are you talking about" snapped Zack.
"Why just today we fooled you into thinking there's human life on this planet, when in reality it's really me and my minions who made your foolish friends of earth believe that too " said Anthony the green eyed alien with glee.
"You tricked us all" exclaimed Phil and Lil in unison.
"Yup, like the fools you are" replied Anthony the green eyed alien.
"I thought something told me this adventure was too good to be true" said Chuckie.
"Oh boy, are we in trouble" replied Jesse.
"Minions, fight them so that we can harvest their brains" said Anthony the green eyed alien. "Say goodbye foolish mortals" he added.
The army of green Mr. Friend humanoid like aliens closed in on the Rugrats.
"I may thinks aliums are cool, but these ones isn't quite what I wanted to run into" said Dil.
"That makes two of us Dil" replied Savannah.
"Guys, we gots to fights back" said Tommy.
"Uh-huh, we gots the water balloon machine guns with us, member" asked Kimi.
"Yeah" shouted the other Rugrats in unison.
The Rugrats quickly pulled out their weapons and began shooting water at the green Mr. Friend humanoid like aliens and started melting the second they were hit with water.
"OH-NO, we forgot that our withstanding against water isn't our strongest point" shouted Anthony the green eyed alien.
"Guys, that's it, water is their weakness" said Tommy.
"For a bunch of aliens that look smarter and weird on the outside, you are pathetic weaklings on the inside" replied Zack.
"Yeah, let's do this" added Dil.
"Oh yeah" replied Phil and Lil in unison.
"Now who's ascared" teased Chuckie.
"We can do this" said Jesse.
"Uh-huh" replied Kimi.
"Let's roll" said Savannah.
Soon the Rugrats were putting up a great big fight shooting water against the army of green Mr. Friend humanoid aliens as they cornered the gang. This continued until at last the only alien left standing was Anthony the green eyed alien.
"Okay you stupid astronaut babies, now it's just you and me" said Anthony the green eyed alien.
"Bring it on, were ready for ya" said Zack.
"You wants some more of this huh" replied Tommy.
Anthony the green eyed alien charged at the Rugrats. Then Tommy squirted the green alien boy's left arm and it melted.
"AHHHH" screamed Anthony the green eyed alien.
"We gots a hand it to you alium boy" said Phil before Lil cut in.
"You looks kinda funny with only one hand" replied Lil.
Anthony the green eyed alien then ran off in the other direction as the Rugrats chased after him.
"M-must keep running" said Anthony the green eyed alien tiredly.
Soon Anthony the green eyed alien was out of breath.
"There he is" said Tommy.
Soon the Rugrats finished the green alien boy off with one last douse of water.
"Yay" cheered the Rugrats in unison.
"We did it, we beated the aliums" said Tommy.
"Oh yeah" replied Phil and Lil in unison.
"I guess those were evil aliums instead of nice ones likes I had hoped" said Dil.
"I gots lots of pictures of them the moment we encountered them" replied Zack.
"I'm sure we'll members this until were all growed up" said Savannah.
"Uh-huh, this was fun" replied Kimi.
"I'm glad we're still in one piece" said Jesse.
"Speaking of which, do you thinks maybe we can go to our home planet and reports to Mission Control what we ran into now" asked Chuckie.
"Sure Chuckeroo, asides I thinks there's really nothing more to do here" said Tommy.
The others nodded in agreement. Soon the Rugrats got their jet packs out and took off from the planet Mars and headed back toward the spaceship. Eventually everyone was settled in as Tommy and Zack got the spaceship started and headed for planet earth just as the Astronaut Babies contacted Mission Control.
"Astronaut Babies to Mission Control, do you read me" asked Zack.
"We read you over" replied Susie.
"How did it go" asked Angelica.
"Oh do we gots a long story to tell you when we gets back to Earth" replied Tommy.
"Yeah, we still gots to get through the asteroid belt again and make a bumpy landing when we get back to the launching pad" said Zack.
"Roger" replied Zoey. "Mission Control out" she said.
Soon, the Rugrats were navigating through the asteroid belt. Eventually, they made it through safely as they rocketed towards Earth. It took quite awhile, but upon approach to the launching pad, Tommy and Zack did the best they could with bringing the spaceship in for a landing without wheels.
"Ahhhhhhhh" screamed the Rugrats in unison as they touched the ground and eventually screeched to a complete stop.
"Few, I'm glad that's over" said Chuckie.
"Uh-huh, I'm feeling dizzy" replied Kimi.
"Yeah" agreed Phil and Lil.
"That was the coolest outside space adventure eber" said Dil.
"I was sure we'd make it out okay in the end" added Tommy.
"Was there ever any doubt" asked Zack.
"Hmmm, maybe, maybe not" replied Jesse.
"Let's go tell Mission Control what we saw up on Mars" said Savannah.
Soon the Rugrats made their way to the Mission Control center and told Angelica, Susie and Zoey what had happened and what they saw.
"Wow, I guess our readings were way off the charts" said Susie.
"I guess some species are a lot smarter than humans" replied Angelica.
"Well, we're glad you guys are okay and that this mis-adventure is over" said Zoey.
Everyone nodded in agreement. Then the scene changed back to Chuckie and Kimi's backyard.
"Wow, that was an awesome outside space adventure eber" said Tommy.
"Yeah, specially the big fight with those aliums" replied Dil.
"I'm just glad we weren't eated alive" said Chuckie.
"Uh-huh, despite the trouble, it was a fun adventure" replied Kimi.
"I'm pretty sure aliums don't exist in the real world" said Zack.
"That's fine with us" replied Phil and Lil in unison.
"But the spaceship rides through an asteroid field was awesome" said Savannah.
"And parachuting down to Mars was neat too" added Jesse.
"I think it was fun doing mission control" said Susie.
"Oh yeah" replied Angelica and Zoey in unison.
Just then Chaz and Kira came out to the backyard.
"Kids snack time" said Chaz.
"There's chocolate chip cookies and milk for everyone" added Kira.
"Last one there is a crumbled cookie" said Angelica and Zoey in unison as they ran for the house.
Susie and the Rugrats ran for the house as well for snack time as well.
