I do not own a kuroko basket or a HOTD…
This will be a AU where the zombies don't attack but Takashi was a member of the generation of miracles.
…
I would tell players to relax and never think about what's at stake.
Just think about the basketball game. If you start to think about who is going
To win the championship, you've lost your focus.

Kuroko's Apartment...
"What!", A red and black hair teenager screams at the top of his lungs, "What do you mean there's one more miracle left I have played yet". This was Taiga Kagami, the ace of Seirin High School. With the help of his friend Tetsuya Kuroko, the sixth phantom man of Teiko Middle school, defeat the generation of miracles and win the Winter Cup. Was shocked to hear that there was one more member of the GoM, at the birthday of his friend.
"Yes there is still one more player you haven't played yet.", Kuroko restated to his friend as he was eating a slice of his birthday cake, "Takashi Komuro was his name and he was the seventh member of the generation of miracles".
"So why haven't I met this guy?",Taiga was frustrated not having to play this Takashi character to chomp down on this cake.
"Actually I haven't heard about this Takashi, ether!" Hyuga was surprised by this news as well, "We didn't see him with you guys throughout your middle school career.".
"It's because in a way similar to Tetsuya, he was the shadow of the team!", it was the red emperor who spoke, Akashi, " Takashi played as our Small Forward before Kise came along, he then soon also started to play as our backup point guard.".
"Huh, backup Point Guard. But, with you on the team I'm surprised you needed one.", Hyuga asked the emperor as he received a piece of birthday cake.
"It true I was good at my position but, Takashi had something else.", Akashi looked at the tea cup he had in his hands, "He had certain leadership skills on the court that allowed us to get us to control the pace of the game to get all of us in the right position.".
"Oh, I now remember Takashi!", It was Takao who spoke this time with cake in his mouth, "Man, he was such a blast to play with!".
"Takao you remember Takashi?", it was Shutoku shooting guard, Midorima, asking his teammate.
"Oh, yeah! How could I forget I guy who had such good chemistry with his teammates on the court.", the point guard finished his cake, " Not to mention his skill as a player, he had such silk layups and his jump shot was no joke either.".
"Yes indeed." Kiyoshi also inputted his opinion on Takashi, "I can believe I forgot about a player like him. He had a decent defense when I played against him costing me some passes. ".
"Don't forget his ball handling skills and passes.", it was Aomine who spoke about his former teammate, "He was the only guy who was as good a street baller as me on the court and was able to keep up with me. Unlike, bakagami.".
"Oi, You want to pick a fight with me ganguro?", Kagami was offended by the ace of Touou, "So what happened to him anyway? Where's this Takashi guy at now?".
"We don't know, he just disappeared after he quit basketball.", Kuroko replied without hesitation, "Takashi quit basketball after our second year of Teiko, after our game at the nationals in our second year. His mother had an accident as she tried to come to the Takashi game, which resulted in her death. This traumatizes him to stop playing basketball later and move with his father somewhere with relatives.".
Kagami was shocked by the news about the seventh member of GoM, "I remember it was like yesterday.", Kise, the copycat player, would speak this time, "He dropped to his knees after he heard the news and the rest of the day he cried.".
"Takashi-chan skills were affected by what had happened.", Momoi then input her opinion of the situation with tears in her eyes, "He wasn't as alert as was in practice and sometimes messed up during plays. And finally quit all together.".
"If Takashi-chin was still around, maybe we wouldn't have gone the way we went", it was the purple giant who went and spoke, Murasakibara who munched on snacks.
"No, I don't we could, even with Takashi on our team.", Akashi assured them that their situation would not change even if they had Takashi on the team, "Our path would continue on its way, but with Tetsuya he would have someone back him up facing all of us.".
Aomine smiled at the quote, he knew the kind of person who helped Tetsu get them out of their state of arrogance.
"Takashi loves basket more than any one on the team.", Kuroko was feeling down remembering their friend. He love the game so much that it was
"Then we should be convinced to play basketball!". Everyone in the room turns to Kagami, with a detriment look on his face, "Someone quilting basketball is like not breathing at all! So next time I meet this Takashi guy I'll convince him to join basketball again and then I'll beat him one on one!".
It was a bold declaration to make from Tagami, Kuroko smiled, "Yes, we need to find Takashi again and convince him to play basketball again, to play as a team again!".
Akashi nodded in agreement, "Then, how about we make a new oath. All of us will do what we can to help our friend to come back to basketball again!". Every member, GoM, smiled and agreed to the oath to do what they can to bring their friend.
"So what does this Takashi look like?", Kagami asked, wanting to know. Momoi took out her flip phone and showed him a picture of Takashi, he was shocked at what he saw, "Huh, this guy looks like a delinquent!"
…
A couple of months later…
A lot of time had passed from the new oath had been made by the generation of miracles to find their lost teammate and rejoin them to play basketball. All of the first years would become second years to start a new year of basketball, it was probably their most memorable one for them. Seirin was able to win the Inter-High with the dynamic duo of Kagami and Kuroko, with Rakuzan in second place and Touou in third from beating Kaijo, giving Aomine revenge from the last time he played Kise.
But, then a bigger challenge arose in the form of the street basketball team Jabberwock. All of the members of the generation of miracles with Kagami become Japan's dream team in order to defeat the street basketball team. In the end they prevail against the Jabberwock, but unknown to them it sets the stage for young stars around the world to show their skills.
When it came to the Winter cup, Seirin soon had Kiyoshi return from the stem cell surgery for which his knee had become stronger than before. In a surprising turn of events Shutoku was able to defeat Touou with Midorima now being able to shoot high threes with his right hand during the quarterfinals. Yosen were able to defeat Kajio with Murasakibara being able to out last Rise in the zone. Seirin met Rakuzan at the semi-finals and once again Seirin was able to defeat powerhouse again. The finals were played Yosen vs Seirin, since Yosen were able to defeat Shutoku at the semi-finals. It was a near close game but Seirin was able to secure the win and get their second winter cup. Rakuzan was able to get third place by defeating Shutoku.
A magazine reporter soon took a picture of all the team who participated in the finals. Soon copies were made to be distributed all around Japan to hear about Seirin second time winning the winter cup.
…
Fujimi Academy…
A male teenager with spiky black with brown eyes, an average height around 5'10 and with a slender body. Wearing a black school uniform with a red T-Shirt underneath. Reading the exact basketball magazine about the winter cup, his name was Takashi Kumuro. He couldn't help but smile at seeing his former Teiko members playing in the winter cup. It's been nearly three years since he quit basketball. Because of it a lot of things have gone wrong for him, Rei and his childhood friend have been cold to him after being held back a grade, now with someone else. He rarely even bothered attending class, his relationship with his father grew a bit distant with one another.
Takashi wondered if he should try to play basketball, even if he could, there would be something that would throw off his game and wasn't able play as best as he could. It frustrated him more that he and his mother didn't leave on good terms before the accident. He could feel like an absolute failure, but he was still glad that his teammates were still playing. He heard that the main members enter a stage arrogance with their talents, but Kuroko and that other player called Kagami beat them to get out the state.
He even saw them all play together again, against the American street basketball team Jabberwock. We wanted to play with all of them again, "Damn, I'm really pathetic aren't I?".
"Yeah you do.", a feminine voice that agree to his statement, Takashi turn around to see a girl with pink hair in a twin tail style, wearing glasses and with curvy body, it was Saya Takagi, "you always moping around this spot, it stupid.". She noticed the basketball magazine in his hands.
He noticed and tucked it in his coat, Saya sighed at his action, "You know the most stupid thing that your doing is the fact, you aren't playing the game you love the most.".
Takashi felt a little hurt by her words, "Look, It's difficult to explain why I can't play.".
"Oh, come on Takashi ever, since we were kids your basketball skills were above others.", Saya began to explain to Takashi, "You were able to beat kids older than, hell even adults had a hard time dealing with you. Look what happened to your mom was terrible, even I cried for her death. But, you know that it can't be the sole reason to not play anymore.".
Takashi said nothing at all to the pink hair girl and left to return to class, "Oh, by the way the school's basketball team is having a practice match at the end of the week and everyone is required to come.".
This peaks Takashi's interest, "Really, against who?".
"I don't know. The name escapes me.", Saya answered as she continued her path to return to class, "ask around if you want to know.".
Takashi was left alone at his spot, he pondered on the idea whether or not to see the game.
…
School let out, Takashi went on his way home and as he did, the ex-basket ball player got a quick glance at his childhood friend Rei Miyamoto with her boyfriend, Hisashi Igou. He remembers back in preschool they promised each that they would get married when they were older. Now, for some reason she won't even say a simple hello to him anymore. Rei saw him, and quickly turned around with Hisaishi to go somewhere else and leave him be.
Takashi wanted to know why and how they became so distant was beyond him, but it did hurt him not having that same bond they had before. He was a bit hungry and saw that Joestar Diner was open, so he decided to head there. As he came upon the entrance of the door he saw a loop of light blue pass by him and quickly disappear, "What? Wait that couldn't be?".
He opens the door of the diner, "Oi, do you think the place has burger Kuroko?".
"I don't know this is the first time ever coming to the restaurant!".
"Kuroko is that you?".
The sixth man of the generation of miracles stood still for a minute and turned to see the voice who had called him and saw it was his friend Takashi Komuro.
…
Seirin Highschool…
It was a great and sad day for Seirin. All of the senior members of the basketball team were graduating from Seirin Highschool, Teppi Kiyoshi, Riko Aida, Junpei Hyuga, Rinnosuke Mitobe, and Shinji Koganei.
"It feels like I've been at this school my entire life and now off to university!", Junpei Hyūga the team captain of Seirin High School's Basketball, was with his team in the gymnasium, "After everything we have been through, here we are graduating. I'm glad to have played with all of you. ".
"Ha ha ha, your like a mother hen saying goodbye to her chicks, Hyuga!", Kiyoshi teased his fellow teammate.
"Oi, Kiyoshi. I'm just trying to say goodbye okay!", Hyuga got upset from his friend's comment, he then composed himself, "Anyways after giving it much thought I think I now know who will be the new captain of the Seirin basketball team. Tetsuya Kuroko.".
The blue-haired individual was quite surprised by the decision of their captain, "Are you sure about that Hyuga-senpai?".
"Hai, Everyone on this team respects you Kuroko. I think i made a go good decision.", Hyuga reassured their phantom player, "There is no better man to be the new captain.".
"I agree with Hyuga-senpai.", It was one of the new freshman members of the basketball team, Yagi Yuuta, "You be a great captain, Kuroko-senpai.".
"Stop trying to deny it, Kuroko. Your our new captain!", it was partner and friend Kagami, warp his arm around him with a big smile.
This reassured Kuroko knowing that his team was okay with the idea, "Okay, I will try to be Seirin's basketball captain.".
"I'm glad to hear that Kuroko. Please do your best to lead our team.", Hyuga passed his title as captain to Kuroko, "And good luck with Kagetora as your coach.".
The comment gave all the junior members of seirin to fall into a depressing mood, all of them knew full well the kind of person that their coach was. Since Riko was going to the University, she asked her father to become seirin new head coach. The old man couldn't reject a request from his only daughter and accept the position, his particles have been butral to the members who were staying.
"Also, Kuroko I wish you good luck in finding your friend Takashi.", this snapped the blue-haired boy out of his depression, and he listened to his captain, "Maybe, this year you'll be able to find him and play basketball again.".
Kuroko felt his heart filled with hope, "Yes, I will make sure to bring back Takashi back to the sport he loved.".
"I'll be there to help you.", Kagami also promises to help bring back Kuroko's friend, "Then, I'll beat him!".
Everyone couldn't help laughing at Kagami competing nature of their ace.
"All of you seem to be in a good mood.", The new coach of seirin arrived at the gymnasium with a clipboard in hand, "Because I got some good news for all of you I got a practice match for you!".
"Huh, so soon papa?", Riko was shocked by the news by her father to set up a match right after they were graduating.
Kagami and Kuroko were shocked by the news, "Huh, with what school are we going to go up against?".
"Well it is with a school called Fujimi Academy.", he answered the new captain, "I was called by an old student of mine to have the practice match. It will also serve as a trading camp. So make sure to start packing tomorrow and get your parents permission. Cause we're going to Tokonosu city!".

This has some relation with "the seventh prodigy", since it inspired him to create this story. I wanted to create a story where there are no zombies and focus on school life with the HOTD group. I also based Takashi's playing style that closely resembles T-Mac and Billups
