"Welcome to the frightening, gory, scream-inducing season of Total Drama! Ooooooooooo!"
The man known as Chris Mclean was making a somewhat discomforting stuffed his face in front of the large studio camera, giving that spooky effect. He was standing in the entranceway to a glorious victorian style mansion kept in pristine condition. The front yard had a large gushing water fountain right in the middle of the paved roundabout surrounded by trees
Chris quickly walked back for the camera to pan through the building, narrating along the way, "This multi-million dollar mansion is quite a sight to behold... but there's something special about this place that will be a part of this season's Halloween theme. Follow me in and I'll show you around.
He was now entering the mansion, walking down a hallway decorated with its past owner's portraits, the camera still rolling, "this place has been well maintained by its estate... who was willing to lend us the place to host this season's Total Drama before it's demoli- I mean... renovation... hehe!"
"Chris Mclean, I implore of you not to host this year's Total Drama in this house of bad omen..." said a soft-spoken voice who somehow appear next to Chris. She gave him a little spoke.
"Woah! I did not expect you to be here Ms. Dawn, but I told you it's set in stone already!" Chris refused her plea, "They're gonna tear down place for a shopping mall here anyways! This is our last chance to use it for our Halloween season."
Former Total Drama contestant Dawn was eager to change Chris' mind for the sake of the future contestant's safety, "Forgive my rudeness, but this place gives out bad aura's around. It won't be mentally healthy for these people."
"And that's why I hired you to ward off whatever spirit is haunting this place enough for me to host the show and make so killer views. You said you needed money for your animal shelter or whatever,"
"You are correct with one thing, but that doesn't change the fact that staying in the house may... alter one's behavior... especially every-"
"And you're out of here!" Chris pushed her away from the camera's lens and moved on with the promo, "So we need 18 lucky people to compete in this spooky... scary... lung raising... heck of a season. The winner of course will win a whopping $1,000,000 dollars for themselves. Losers get nothing; all in this spooktacular season of Total... Drama... Haunting Hour!"
