Chapter 1: Celebrating Ichigo Kurosaki's Birthday
Izaya rushed to the gates as he heard that today is Ichigo's birthday.
"Izaya, wait! Slow down please!" Rukia said as she ran after him.
Izaya stopped as he looked back and stood up, smiling at her.
"I'm sorry, Rukia. I forgot. Argh, college is a pain in the ass." Izaya said.
Rukia chuckled.
"Let me and Renji come with you. We're very much good friends with him." Rukia said.
"Yeah, plus, he told me that he'll be hanging out with his boyfriend later on today. But we can still celebrate his birthday party in the world of the living." Renji said.
"Thanks you guys. Y'all are the best." Izaya said.
Rukia smiled as she opened the gate to go to the world of the living.
The three headed in as the gates closed.
"Ohhh, today's Ichigo's Birthday, how interesting.~" Gin said.
When Izaya, Rukia, and Renji all landed in the world of the living, they saw Isshin outside at the park.
"Oh, there's Isshin, that's Ichigo's dad." Rukia said.
"Nice. Let's go meet him." Renji said.
Rukia nodded as she happily skipped over to Isshin.
"Daddy look! It's Rukia!" Yuzu said.
"Hmm? RUKIA! My sweet Rukia, it's so good to see you!" Isshin said as he smiled hugely at her.
"Hello you guys, it's so good to see you!" Rukia said.
"Rukia, are you here to celebrate Ichigo's birthday too?" Yuzu asked happily.
"We are! Oh this is my boyfriend, Renji Abarai. And this is our friend, Izaya." Rukia said as she introduced them to the Kurosakis.
"Boyfriend!? Since when did you have a boyfriend!?" Isshin said.
"We met a long time ago and I asked her out, sir. It's nice to meet you." Renji said.
"Well you better take good care of her then, Rukia is like a third daughter to me!" Isshin said.
Renji chuckled.
Izaya was greeted by Karin.
"Hey there, I'm Karin, Ichigo's younger sister. It's nice to meet you." Karin said.
"Hello, I'm Izaya, wow, I love your hair." Izaya complaited Karin.
"Thanks, I decided to grow it out." Karin said as she smiled.
Izaya smiled back.
A few moments later, the party decorations were all set up and all of Ichigo's friends, even Grimmjow, arrived.
"So where's Ichigo?" Rukia asked.
"He's getting ready, unless one of y'all want to go get him." Isshin said as he grinned.
"He knows his way around, dad. He'll find us." Karin said as she took a sip of her soda.
Grimmjow looked at his phone as he received a text from Ichigo.
"Hey love, what's going on at the park?" Ichigo asked.
Grimmjow grinned. "I'll go get him, I think he's up and ready."
"You go for it! Alright everybody pick a hiding spot and hide!" Isshin said.
"We would if there were taller trees!" Orihime said as she laughed.
Grimmjow grinned as he walked over to Ichigo's place.
Izaya went with him.
"Sorry, not stalking you, just want to see him also." Izaya said.
Grimmjow chuckled.
"Ya know kid, you and Keigo are the cutest couple ever." Grimmjow said.
"Thanks, oh here. I don't know if you brought a blindfold." Izaya said as he held out a bright orange blindfold.
"Thanks! I'll make sure this will be tight on Ichigo's eyes.~" Grimmjow said.
Izaya giggled as he went back to the park.
Grimmjow then rang the doorbell.
Ichigo went downstairs and answered it.
"Surprise! Happy Birthday, Strawberry.~" Grimmjow said.
"Babe! Oh my gosh, thank you!" Ichigo said as he hugged his lover.
"Where's my gift~?" Ichigo asked.
Grimmjow grinned. "You gotta wait till tonight.~ Anyways here let me put this on you, I got you a better surprise.~"
Ichigo blushed deeply.
"Whoa, babe getting a little kinky there, are we~?" Ichigo said.
Grimmjow laughed, "Yer into that shit too~? I mean we can try it out if ya want.~"
Ichigo blushed even more.
Grimmjow tied the blindfold onto his lover's eyes as he turned him around and deeply kissed him.
Ichigo moaned into the kiss as he rubbed his lover's chest.
"W-We can't, what if my dad comes home and sees us~?" Ichigo said.
Grimmjow grinned, "No biggie. Haha just kidding, come on I'll show you yer better surprise.~"
The two then held hands as they walked to the park.
Izaya was on a tree as he saw them coming over.
"They're coming, hide!" Izaya said.
Everyone did so.
Grimmjow and Ichigo arrived at the park.
Grimmjow took off Ichigo's blindfold.
Ichigo looked around as he gasped seeing the presents, balloons, streamers, and cupcakes.
Before Ichigo could speak, everyone jumped out and shouted: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ICHIGO!"
Ichigo stepped back as he covered his mouth, tears in his eyes.
"Y'all did this for me?" Ichigo asked.
"We did big brother, happy birthday!" Yuzu said as she hugged Ichigo.
"We hope you like it. Your friends here helped us." Karin said as she pointed at: Rukia, Renji, Orihime, Chad, Tatsuki, Uryu, Grimmjow, Keigo, and Mizuiro.
"You- I- Thank you! I really love it!" Ichigo said.
Everyone hugged Ichigo happily.
"You're so welcome! Happy birthday!" Everyone said.
"So, is the soul society also celebrating his birthday too?" Grimmjow asked Izaya.
"Yes, I got them all decorating, and also you can come too if you want. Aizen has talked to the head captain and he's okay with having you and my boyfriend Keigo come along." Izaya said.
"Whoa, you really mean it? Hmm alright I'll go just for my strawberry.~" Grimmjow said.
Ichigo was hugging his dad, "Thank you dad. I love it. But you didn't have to do this for me."
"Aww son, I love you and I know parties aren't as fun as they used to be, but I figured you might want this. Now live your life fully and don't die young! I want to see you and Grimmjow get married!" Isshin said.
"DAD!" Ichigo shouted as he playfully nudged his dad's shoulder
Everyone laughed as they had a cupcake.
"So who made these?" Rukia asked.
"I did! I work as a baker." Orihime said.
"Really? These are good!" Renji said as he took a big bite.
"Thank you! You guys can come by anytime you want. I also make cakes for parties and special occasions." Orihime said.
"Thank you! We'll definitely come by, Orihime." Rukia said as she hugged her friend.
Izaya and Keigo sat by a tree in the shade as they ate their cupcakes.
"Babe, have you found a family yet?" Keigo asked.
"Not yet, I mean I think a clan in the soul society are considering adopting me." Izaya said.
"No way! Congrats babe, I can't wait." Keigo said as he hugged his lover.
Izaya smiled as he hugged him and kissed him.
Keigo blushed and kissed him back.
"Have you made any new friends at the other soul school?" Keigo asked.
"Just one, she's a really sweet girl but hasn't been in class lately. I hope she's okay." Izaya explained.
"I hope she'll show up, I want to meet her." Keigo said.
"You will baby. I promise." Izaya said.
The two hugged each other again.
"Really guys, thanks for coming, I really appreciate it." Ichigo said to his friends.
"That's what friends do, Ichigo. I hope we didn't scare you too much." Chad said.
"No not at all, just a surprise in a good way, that's all." Ichigo replied.
"Well good, I was afraid that we would and you were going to run off and hide in your room." Uryu said.
"Oh please, I would be in Grimmjow's arms if he was in my room at that time.~" Ichigo said.
Grimmjow grinned, "Silly strawberry."
"But really, happy birthday Ichigo. We hope you're enjoying it." Mizuiro said.
"Yeah, and I hope you'll love the gifts we gave you too. They might match your vibes and aesthetics." Tatsuki said.
"You know I will, thank you all." Ichigo said.
Rukia and Renji walked up to Ichigo as Renji covered his eyes.
"Guess who~?" Renji said.
"Renji, it's you because I can still feel your spiritual pressure no matter what and plus your hands are bigger than mine." Ichigo said.
"Oh damn, how'd you know it's me~? Haha, hey Ichigo, we- I mean- wait-" Renji choked on his words.
"The soul society also has a surprise for you." Rukia said.
"Wait for real?" Ichigo said.
"Yes, can you come by real quick so they can give you your surprise?" Renji said.
"Sure, but- Can I bring my boyfriend with me?" Ichigo asked.
"Of course! Izaya is bringing Keigo." Rukia said.
"Wait for real!? How?" Ichigo asked.
"Let's just say a former captain convinced the head captain and he said he's okay with it as long they're not threats." Renji said.
"Alright, want to come along babe?" Ichigo asked.
"Hell yeah!" Grimmjow said.
Everyone helped clean up the decorations as Ichigo was at the gate with his friends.
"Ichigo, these gifts will be in your room." Isshin said.
"Thanks dad!" Ichigo said.
Before he headed into the gates everyone gave him one last birthday wish.
"Happy Birthday, Ichigo!" His friends and family said.
"Thank you all!" Ichigo said as he waved at them very happily.
